  • I've give it a go tomorrow since I have off...we'll see how things play out :monster: Thanks for the info, I'll try starting out where you've told me to.

...and yeah I'd have to agree with you on the birthday thing. I'm not enjoying them as much as I used to...I'm not quite to the point where I "officially" don't have them anymore though thankfully :gasp:
Aww thanks Martel! You know you are too cool to be writing any birthday wishes in my thread :britt: I worked this weekend but we got take out for lunch yesterday so that was cool. I'm going out for a girls night during the week for dinner...and hopefully margs :gonk: ...so that should be fun :monster: ...I still haven't started ROF...Everyone telling me how hard it is...is really putting me off :gasp:
You're going to start talking like Lymle now? :ahmed:

Fine, call me Liv Liv if you want. But if I start to imagine "Lezard Valeth" as a 15 year old girl with a doll face in pink that resembles and talks like a 6 year old, then I will never forgive you. :mokken:
Holy shit. Now I'm scared for my life. :gasp:

*scratches Fleur off list of must-meet FFF buddies*
    Joking, joking.

    :gonk:
    and
    :awesome:
It's 15 chapters long. :gonk: About 6 hours I believe.

Hmmm, do you happen to know the name of the necromorphs you're referring to? :wacky: I can only think of the ones that are in Dead Space 2, I don't remember them being in the first. There's a Dead Space wiki with all the necromorph names on it. I'm curious now. :wacky:

The flamethrower is really fun, though I don't use it often because I always use too much fuel. I'm always scared that they won't die so I'm just shooting all my ammo at once. :lew:

Does that mean it didn't have Extraction? :sad3: That must've been really irritating. I hate waiting for things in the mail let alone having them come to be the wrong thing.

Severed is definitely worth playing, especially if you're already planning on going through the whole series of games. I don't know what kind of storyline you like but it was nice to finally see some emotion in a game again.
    You totally should make a thread! And I should get myself to do more SOTWs, but I'm lazy and I have college. ;_;
Then you'd better tell Jay to start avoiding me then! :gasp:

Oh, congrats on SOTW as well btw, it's a gorgeous piece! Very well done. :yay:
Isn't it wonderful when effort is rewarded? :mokken:

Maybe now I can be of some help to everyone. :gonk:

    Diligence! Diligence! :jtc:

Wonderful! I'm so glad everyone's safe! :rage:

/is clearly not a fan of Reimi
Yeah, hardcore is not very fun. I decided to try it out, and I'm on my first save in chapter seven, but I'm doing well so far. :wacky:

I also finished Severed last night, don't worry I won't spoil it, but it was only two chapters. It may have seemed even shorter to me since I was kinda rushing through it but the story was really cute and mushy. :lew: I liked it though, though I think I should've played Extraction first. I'll probably play it sometime soon.
(my note was too long! :rage:)

It's the only story DLC and I felt fine paying for it because it's fairly cheap- $6.99- and is wholly separate from Isaac's story. They did add weapon packs but to my knowledge it's only different versions of the weapons you already have. Useful for hard core difficulty but otherwise it's just something like a 5% addition to damage for a certain gun and a new skin for it which isn't great. I guess they also come with different suits which are also useful for the hardest difficulty but again... unless you're really serious about the game it's pointless.
    xD

I think mainly the thing that put me off from the drill had to be that the "ammo" for it ran out... I mean... really? If they didn't add that in then I'm sure it would have given us an advantage but like you said, it didn't feel like you were actually a big daddy. Too weak. :sad2:

There are movies? :rage: I think I recall someone saying that there was some sort of anime series or something now that I think about it but it must've just slipped my mind... I may have to get those... If you get to them sooner than me, let me know how you liked them? :gasp:

I'm not sure if they use chapters for the DLC but I know it's fairly long and has a different protagonist, who was a character in Extraction. I guess it's an add on to the story Extraction started but since I'm trying not to spoil the story for myself I'll just figure it out later. :wacky:
I didn't find the drill to be all that amusing. :wacky: Apparently lots of fans wanted to play as a big daddy but it just wasn't as fun as you'd think. I totally missed the wrench.

Make sure you play Ignition first, it unlocks some really cool stuff in Dead Space 2. :gasp: I was actually going to buy it just for the extra stuff it unlocks. :lew:

The Zero-G in the second game is MUCH better, I'm sure you've seen a preview on it but if not, now it lets you float around and maneuver yourself instead of just jumping from one surface to another.

And once you get through all of that... :wacky: If you end up liking Ignition you might end up buying the Severed DLC... I can't wait to play that, I've already downloaded it but since PSN is down I don't get to play it just yet.
I was really disappointed with BioShock 2. Still a decent game but it'll never compare to BioShock.

That first part was terrifying. I remember the first time I put the game in I got to the part where the necromorphs drop into the room in front of you and turned it right off. xD

Well, I hope you enjoy the rest of the game- I'm sure you will. I used to be friggin terrified of it but once I got used to it I loved it. :lew:
Ooh, you like it too so far? :gasp: It's an awesome game. :ryan:

Yeah, I gave in and just bought it full price. xD I couldn't wait any longer. What's funny is usually when there are sequels the original game is much better... yet this second game seems to be even better than the first.
Don't you see this is like dipping an ice cream scoop in a bucket of Joe's hot sauce. They don't mix well together :rage:
