I agree. I think it's risky to move to a state without knowing. That's why I've been researching this stuff nonstop practically. it's hard though. cuz when i try to learn about their reviews from patients only reviews on the hospitals actual site come up. and i'm worries those could be "lies". i tried to look at this hospital site that ranks all the hospitals in the country--but it's really hard to follow. it doesn't give out reviews from patients or nothing. :/

My dad is gonna have this doctor contact all of these hospitals that I'm interested in. hopefully one gets back saying they think they can help. :/

Well, his doctor said that it wasn't HIS job to suggest or give him a dietician. he claimed it was my mom's job to get one provided for my dad. my dad also said that every time he went for a checkup or whatever, that he would put a check mark on the question of seeking a dietician/nutritionist. he also verbally informed the doctor that he'd like them, but two years later--nothing was provided.

that's good news about the support group thing. at least my dad will get some help with the stress now.

Okay. My dad said the other doctor (the one who isn't so much of an ass) is willing to send a referral letter to any doctor in the country. I've already got 4 hospitals worth contacting. but im worried that we'd end up moving to another state for what we thought would be a good hospital but then we just get the same "care" at the new hospital. do you know any way to be sure?

this stuff is so depleting. sorry i'm bothering you with this, mel. :/ i really appreciate your input.

Okay. so at the least, it shows negligence. alright. that's something. another thing, i was wondering about. This doctor hasn't given my dad a nutritionist to see or a support group. when my mom confronted my dad's doctor about this he said that it "wasn't his job"... is that true?

Also, my dad has medicare and medicaid... (my dad can no longer work cuz he was in an accident in 2006 while on a constructive job) so that explains why they're using the cheapest ways to "treat" my dad, right?

Yeah it was a good laugh il need to get Toni to join sometime too I never liked blops2 when i played it at Jimmy's hoose And i think itl be Hal thats unbanned next month. Im pretty sure Jims ban still has a few months yet. He said he wont ever return to the site but i know for a fact he will So whever his ban is due youl definitely see him creeping back. No doubt banned again a week later or something hahahah.

Ya me jimmy tosh and charlotte. Jimmy and tom on the mic had me laughing so much it was hilarious hahahah. Tom pretty much dominated everygame. With all 4 of us playing we won every game by about 4000 points There was only 1 game which came down to the last kill which Tom got. I swear he gets dogs in the first minute. I like my spy plane and counter spy too much to give up. And naplm is fun

Thanks Mel. Here's the thing. My dad did go and get a second opinion. He went up to this renowned doctor for this specific disease, and the doctor looked my dad in the eye and said he was confident he could heal him and get him better. But then, after a phone call from my dad's regular doctor that he's had for a few years, the second opinion doctor said suddenly that he "couldn't help" my dad.

It's all got me paranoid to be honest.

And especially after what happened today. My dad and mom went down to get his medication and the person at the counter said they weren't gonna give my mom his meds because the hospital reported that my dad had died already, and my dad is very much alive. The med nurse even said that my mom had to bring my dad into the drugstore before she could believe that he was alive.

I just don't get how that could be a mistake. it seems like the hospital wants to let my dad die so they don't have to pay to make him better. I know you're sorta in the medical field. Do you know what we should do?
