  • I'm up for any suggestions regarding the Reviews section. :) Although I'm not sure how to bring about the whole 'one review a month' idea, since that's entirely up to the members themselves. :hmmm: The Q&A idea can be achieved in the Game Reviews Discussion - pretty much like how Tifa had set up her thread there so that members can ask for additional information. I might actually start giving out vB Points for game reviews, though I don't really think anyone (at least the older members) are that interested in points anymore. :lew: It'd help the newbies out though.
well i'm on break this week, gonna get on with a few assignments me thinks :D

yh i finished FFXIII-2 today, I loved it i'm wanting to do everything in the game as well, I got 40 fragments atm XD
Hey sorry I haven't answered in so long! D: but yeah swimming is pretty fun!:) I haven't been for a while either :/ but my top ten hmmm I don't think I have thy many probably in no particular order: kingdom hearts 2, final fantasy x, final fantasy xiii, final fantasy xiii-2, and the ffx-2 :) how about you?
    Alright, in that order

Thanks for the welcome! Glad to be here!

    1. Yes, I very much do enjoy reading ^^ Among my favorite are "It" and "The Shining" by Stephen King, The Mortal Instruments series, "The Host" by Stephanie Meyer, etc.

    2. I've spent some years playing the piano. My skills have gotten incredibly rusty, though. Nothing a little elbow grease won't fix, though ^^;

    3. I'm actually around the part where Noel and Serah are about to fight Caius in Chaos Bahamut form ^^ Pretty near the end, I believe xD

    4. Actually, VIII was my very first game. However, it was back when I had absolutely no idea about what the game was about xD The first game I've played seriously was X. XIII, however, was a gem to me; still is.

And, that's it! ^^ Tell me about yourself ^^
I love summer holidays haha :D although it can be boring at times. This summer I'm going to Costa Del Sol in June then I'll probably spend the rest of it with my girlfriend until she goes on her European scholarship - will need a massive talk to see if we stay together or not sadly.

I know what you mean about guilt haha. I can't say I've ever nearly broke into tears though, not to stereotype, but that's more of a girls way of reacting to stress lol. Defo worth it then getting a 79 ha! Significantly above the First Class boundary, congrats! :D I don't blame you for mentioning it as a high 2:1 I would too with a similar mark, people shouldn't make it sound like JUST a 2:1 if they were borderline 1st. I think it'd make it stand out on CVs more as well than JUST a 2:1! Congrats, 68 is a fantastic mark! :D:)

I'm taking a gap year after uni to get some work experience, hopefully to afford to sit my LPC then I'm either going to see what options are available or move to Australia :lew:
I prefer Brotherhood for FMA myself it is just so much better. They do more with the plot, the ending is a real nut buster, they a actually close and make it a decent ending. Also that the homunculus were better in personality and how they were created. All around the characters were better. As for Bleach yeah it is long xD.
well..yeah i m in college...in our country we have to study physics, chemistry, biology and math no matter what our goal is XD so i study all of em

well...the reason i chose this career is ...well m inspired by my mother...she is a doctor and i think the greatest person i have ever met in reality...i wanna be like her...to help the ones who needs help...well...it's like i wanna help the humanity somehow...that's the reason i wanna be a doc!
    (In no particular order.)
    · xxxHOLiC
    · Kimi ni Todoke
    · Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon
    · Legend of the Galactic Heroes
    · Paradise Kiss/NANA (Ai Yazawa)

There are of course things I have enjoyed a lot, but those are the ones I'm interested the most in. Then there's always VN adaptions and se/prequels like Fate/Stay Night, Umineko, Fate/Zero ++.

Cats are awesome indeed, and quite loyal. I have many cats too, but only one in my apartment, and he's like my partner in crime~
I'm in my second year now, technically third as soon as my exams finish in May. I wouldn't say it's much harder than first year it's just the amount of reading becomes a lot more extensive and you're expected to be able to pinpoint exactly what you need.

Only two days!? Outrageous! There is no way I could be writing an essay on Xmas day even if I wasn't doing anything, bar the last week, my Xmas holidays is to relax from university work and nothing else :lew: I don't know how you managed to stay sane and only have 2 days off! :(

I suppose if you love discussing books and enjoy writing then it's probably the perfect course to teach children English then, you'll be a top teacher, the best ones are always the ones that have a passion for the subject. :ryan: English never floated my boat (still doesn't really haha) but during my last year of GCSE's and during A-Levels I seemed to become really good at it xlolx, shame I was never really interested in it :gonk: How long is the PGCE?
    oh..then that's cool XD

yaaaaaaaaaaaay! thanks :D i found it at last XD now i can write threads myself :D THANKS :D

sweeeeeeeeeet :D thanks again..you are really a great help neh :D

nice to meet ya judy :D
wow  that's so great neh :O
i really don't get time to read books these days :( one of the reason is too much studies and also...too addicted to final fantasy ><

well...i wanna be a doctor, just like ma mother...but i wonder if i will be able to..it's really hard to get in the medical colleges over here, too much competition...but i will keep trying ^^
    hey :D thanks :3
well..this place is awesome! really...i was looking for people to talk about final fantasy (in ma country, there's rarely anyone who plays FF :( )
so it's great :D but still facing some difficulties like how to make threads of my own and stuffs ^^" i also can't find the threads where i have posted :(

sure..name's tausif, it's upto you what you wanna call me :)
    from bangladesh, age 17,
my interest ? well ...i love to play FF whenever i get time XD i m too addicted you see :p
my favorite final fantasy will be FFVII..(including crisis core :p)
favorite book...well..i used to read a lot ...lots of em are in our mother tongue...
i also loved da vinci code, harry potters, angels & demons, currently i m reading parasite eve, but it's full of medical thingys in it..so kinda lost interest ^^"
sorry i talked a lot neh...tell me about you :D
Cool, I'll take a look later, doing some work at the moment, it's been a while since I've done any signatures and on other forums I was the one asking other people to make me them, but I've learnt a lot about Photoshop and a lot more stuff has been released since then, so I think I just need to experiment again
Hey! Thanks for the lovely welcome. :)

Yeah I do Photoshop, been obsessed with it since before school, I'm best at doing design work because that's what half of my course involves, scripting and design, but I like making montages and abstract stuff with the odd photo manipulation (www.jdeadevil.deviantart.com) in my spare time. I'm doing work placement though which involves me making YouTube backgrounds and optimising for websites. :)

I'm thinking of taking a gap year before deciding what to do after I finish my foundation degree (second year)

And where can I find these GFX clans? What do they do? Haha
i draw fan art mostly... i dont pretend to be great but i certainly try. i really like the manga art form but i draw mostly chibi
Ah you're more of a classic reader. I moreso enjoy fiction and fantasy.
As for games this year, I'm really looking forward to FFXIII-2 (picking it up today), the remake to 10 if that even does come out this year, and I saw a preview of a game called Not Dead Yet by Naughty Dog, who makes absolutely fabulous games.

I'm not a fan of where the game genre has gone in terms of all the open "WRPGS" and shooters. Which is why I either play older games or don't play too much. How about you? What kind of style do you find yourself liking now?
i hope to have a fantastic time here too lol. favourite books? im really into manga and enjoy reading rosario + vampire and ouran highschool host club. favourite games? all final fantasy. obviously lol and i enjoy left 4 dead as well. as for my hobbies? i draw, read and write stories and manga. currently working on a story about demonic posession
I'm fine, thank you =) just that I'm really bored. Currently staying in a place where there's nothing much. So I can't do graphics at the moment :( Even if I install Photoshop, I won't have my brushes and fonts...

Oh and I'm anticipating to replay FFXIII-2 in English when I return to my other house. Anyway, I'm still awaiting for university entry exam results, so there's no school for me these days.

    So what about you? :)
I kinda like it in a way, even though it means being fairly bored during the day it's set up perfectly for 2 or 3 nights out a week not having to go to lecture the next day :lew:

I study Law! Free time wise I don't do that much I just doss around with my flatmates really XD

Sounds awesome, although admittedly I was never a fan of maths :damon: What is this PGCE you speak of!?
