It depends on the person. Some people can take words and brush them off. With others, certain words could cause them a pain which lasts longer than a punch on the arm.

There is a slight problem in your statements. Since the points you described are not absolutes, it's possible that one can be a nonconformist and still not follow them. You're confusing nonconformists with nonconformism.

FFX is my second favorite Final Fantasy game, and I still couldn't tell you much about the story. I could only figure out about half of it. The rest might have made sense, but my mind just has to reject it as "this isn't the correct interpretation".
Yes, I'd be happy with it-
I think Final Fantasy X had a lot of problems, and a lot of areas for improvement. However, it was still a great game. The only difference is that most great Final Fantasy games, had a few less problems, or at least slighter ones.
