I snack when I get home...so a bite-sized piece of of home-made flapjack (oats, eggs, cinnamon, banana, dried apricots - so all healthy!), a few chocolate raisins and a piece of Green and Black's chocolate. :lew:
Looking forward to dinner! Vegetarian sausages with mashed potato and some...
Oh wow, good question...
Based on the past few years, I think I am going to have to go for November or December. As others have said, this is when we begin to see winter! The leaves begin to fall, decorating the forest floors with amber, red and orange-brown leaves. The rain is RAIN as opposed...
Two Quorn coctail sausages, a carrot and some moroccan humous! :) I have eaten far too much today; a light dinner really was all I needed. :ness: All gorgeous food though. :ryan:
I'm doing okay, despite being quite tired.
My tutor from Uni came to observe one of my lessons yesterday. My main target is to develop presense - I negotiate too much and I'm not harsh enough. :lew: In the evening, I went to a quiz with one of my friends and someone else from school. It was...
Uncharted 2 and Halo 4! :yay: both are absolutely fantastic. :) I haven't been able to play games all week though. :sad3: The PGCE is absolutely incredible, but I use all of my free time to plan lessons. :wacky: This weekend, I shall play a little more of both.
I haven't played many Halo...
A bit disheartened.
The PGCE is hard. :lew: And sometimes, quite humiliating. I'm improving, but every mistake I make causes me to feel a bit embarrassed. The school is also quite small, so I feel a bit like a burden. :hmmm: And all of my friends live far away. :sad3: And my cat has been...
I don't really have a long list. :lew: My priority is to get my PC fixed, so I have a larger workspace. I would quite like a wider monitor for my PC too. Mine's 7 - 8 years old and square shaped; I would like to be able to view two pages in Word as opposed to one when I write and plan lessons...
I'm not too pleased by the fact they're giving us information drip by drip. I'd much rather have a couple of large, exciting announcements. All of these little details just waters down the effect for me. :/
Anywho, as others have said, the day and night feature currently doesn't sound like...
Sign me up! ^_^
Wish list... create something unique and special. =) A short poem, a drawing, a sig, a voice clip, a piece of music, or anything you can think of. ^_^
Got home and pushed the boat out! I had there prunes, a soya dessert and eight or so chocolate covered pretzels. The pretzels in the UK are not-even-bite-sized mini biscuit-like things, not pastries. ;)
A bunch of grapes, a date (love those little fruits!) and a bowl of porridge! :ryan: I tend to have it plain now, with soya milk. Went off bananas and I no longer feel I need to add honey. :hmmm:
I think Puglet's point about not rushing into anything and perhaps taking a year or two out is a good one too! :) I didn't before my English degree, but I took one year out before my very specific PGCE, which is training me to teach English in secondary education.
However, things would have...
Hmm, I'd like to address all of your concerns. Somehow!
First of all, I would like to back up Squid and would recommend you study something wider. A degree that could lead to a job in the video game industry or film making is fine, but specific degrees can be incredibly limiting. I would...
We don't traditionally celebrate Thanksgiving in the UK. It was completely alien to me until I watched The Simpsons! I do, however, think that's a shame. :sad3: I would rather celebrate Thankgiving than Christmas! My favourite part of Christmas is having the family come together; not the gifts...
