I don't think it was. "because God did it" isn't a reason, it's how not why. There's never an explanation as to why Hope was transformed into a child again. It made no sense.
Okay so I played through FFX recently-ish (when it was remastered) and completed the entire game, did all side quests and filled up the whole sphere grid etc. I've played this game so many times but I've never done a challenge like No Sphere Grid or Single Character. Right now I'm leaning...
Yeah I'm suspecting a troll as well. Final Fantasy has always tried to have very good graphics for the time, but the games are not 'about the graphics' the games primarily are about the story and characters and world.
I'm really curious about it too. Though I'm more worried about the story than about the setting. I don't want spoilers either obviously, but I'd like to know if it's got a sad ending or not, because from the trailers it looked quite dark compared to many FF games.
Depends how confident you feel when it comes to the battles. If you're having a hard time then maybe do some missions and get your characters stronger, if you're doing alright then you can keep going with the story. You get a chance to do more missions later on before the end of the game.
Wait so...I give two videos that compare fighting in XIII and LR with the exact same type of battle, with the exact same monster within about the same timescale and...you give a comparison with two entirely different types of enemies, one of the videos is mostly full of cut scene anyway, one...
Phosphoric Ooze:
I think there was a lot more animations going on in battle in XIII than in LR. There's less characters running around, less attacks flying about. It's just less messy overall when it comes to animations.
Comparison:
As for anti-religion. I agree, but it's been a running...
True, there are different types of experiences. You can experience watching something, you can experience playing something. One is not the other. A game is something that is played, if you do not play it then you are not experiencing the game. You are experiencing a video of the game.
Nobody...
Not really. I don't see how anybody can think that watching something means you've experienced doing it. You haven't, you've just watched others experience it. Which is nowhere near the same as experiencing it yourself. The whole point the OP makes is that the game is messed up and the battles...
Nobody experiences games by watching other people play them. That's not experiencing, that's just observing. If you're concentrating on playing a game, then you're not going to be watching the animations as much since you'll be paying attention to what moves to use next. Besides, the battle...
Ethics "The thing is, you can know if you don't play. Welcome to the age of Let's Plays, streaming and Wikipedia."
You can know the story and you can know what the game looks like. But when it comes to gameplay and battles especially I don't think you can know what they're really like without...
What is going on in the battles that's complicated? In XIII you have 3 to 6 combinations of roles to choose from during battle, and each combination has 3 roles, some of which have up to 20 commands. You cannot say that's not far more complicated than only having 1 combination of 3 roles per...
Well personally I prefer to experience something before I judge it. I never expected to like LR, but when I eventually played it I did. There is far less going on in the battles than there was in either XIII or XIII-2, but then you wouldn't really know what the battles are like if you've not...
Ah, okay when you said natural I thought you meant biologically speaking.
The difference here is that a woman's desire for a strong man does come from a biological standpoint. It comes from wanting protection from predators for our babies, and also wanting a man who can hunt down food. Desire...
When I spoke about her husband loving her anyway I was speaking about after he'd already fallen in love with her. Obviously he's not obliged to love her when he first meets her and if she'd told him about her porn history at that point preferences certainly come into play. But if they've...
Harlequin
The problem is that people have personal responsibility. An adult is an adult and they are free to make their own mistakes. Sure some people might regret working in porn but everyone has regrets or mistakes or just things they wish they'd done differently. It's part of life. I don't...
I know, putting down VII is controversial in itself. Saying any other FF is better than it will likely get pretty heated responses, saying the only one worse is XIII would get me argued with by pretty much everyone.
