Actually, I know a lot more about poetry than probably anyone here. I've taken and continue to take plenty of poetry workshops at colleges with reputable poets (Mark Doty was my thesis advisor, I'm taking workshops with Marie Ponsot, I've chilled with Li-Young Lee), I've started multiple...
Yeah, it pretty much came down to which one I could read the most of without running into an obvious and meaningless grammar issue. Have a little more respect for your art than that.
Poetry doesn't use grammar? Do you read poetry outside of message boards? Poetry either follows grammar or...
Last one I bought was Red Johnson's Chronicles or something. I like point-and-click adventures, and this one seemed pretty cool.
Also, LOL, Darkblade started this thread. Oh memories.
It's because they're in heat. This is happening around the globe. Cats gotta get it on.
Nothing is worse than the never-ending ice cream truck theme song.
None that I can remember.
I've heard Adele. A girl with whom I recorded some music was into her and we recorded a cover of a song of her's. I haven't finished mixing it.
Since I don't have much exposure to these writers, can someone please link me to the one piece that each writer may call his/her masterpiece? Or, even better, we could have an in-thread battle RIGHT HERE.
In 10 words or less, fascinate me with a story about your most traumatic childhood...
Considering the length of his sword, he's probably really insecure about his tiny penis.
I think his character was way underdeveloped and flat. Crisis Core did nothing to deepen it. This usually isn't a big deal, but when he learns about his history in the Shinra Mansion basement, it's like...
Um, I'll say it again: Living without religion is not the same as saying it's false. If you don't live without religion/god, you are not an atheist. Saying it's false and consistently trying to prove it to others is not atheism, it's antitheism. People are antitheists for likely the same...
Looks like I'm going to have to open shop here. If you have questions about meter or other poetic devices, just ask me. I'm a seasoned pro and a master of meter. Don't know what the hell trochaic tetrameter is or why some goon is making you write in it? Just come to me and I'll sort that shit...
Okay, I think you're missing probably the most important thing about Shakespearean sonnets, which is the meter. They're written in iambic pentameter. So what you have to do is line up the natural stresses of words with the meter layout.

I think it's a great idea. Best way of eliminating the inequalities between men and women. Now we just need a way to disguise our voices and blur our body outlines.
Most of them were pretty bad. Even the best one, IX, became boring and lost focus after the first disc. How can you choose a worst out of a bunch like this? It's like choosing which one of your limbless bastard mutant children you hate the most.
X-2 made it better. It added a sense of completion to the story. FFX seemed like it was written by 13-year-olds who don't know how to properly express themselves in words. The dialogue was childish, and the plot was comprised of broad strokes of inexplicable sentiment. It was like a 90-hour Jim...
Here's my bandcamp page: http://impaledpeach.bandcamp.com/
The first one is a small collection of simple covers I recorded with my girlfriend. The middle one is an EP I released last year of original songs, not very polished. The third is a collection of covers I've done of other people's...
