Ok gotta say that the cut scenes are great…they didn’t bother me one bit. For me it gives the game a more cinematic feel.

93 hrs
I just beat the game....i put about 93 hours into it. Allot of that was obsessive leveling up...though i did do quite of few of the hunts and got a couple of the espers. Ended up having Ashe at level 61, Pen/Fran level 50 and the rest at 47.
strategy/levels??
I just beat the game and thinking back i would have to say that ultimately its about strategy...not levels. Though for some leveling up is the strategy for sure. But you see the paradox is that the best way to level up (imho) is to dive into the deep end of an area w/foes at...
Being such a noob I had no idea how “hard” this game is. It seems my lack of reference was prolly a good thing as I’m hearing a lot of complaints from my rpg friends who are playing through the game.
As far as $$ once I got the thief cuffs I was golden. I just have Vaan/Bash steel first...

It s good to hear others find it challenging and its not just me. The thing is that its tough but unlike some other games…this makes it fun. Just about every aspect of the game seems to be top notch imho.
Allow me to preface my comments by saying I was a bit of a casual gamer in the 8bit era (was born in 80, got my first N.E.S. at age 10 ect…) and have only recently gotten back into games. Literally the only R.P.G’s I’ve ever completed are the original F.F. and K.O.T.O.R..
