It will not be free to play. They already said that, but they are going to be changing the way the payment system works. It will still cost roughly the same per month.

Yeah, but alot of games do this kind of thing. Look at naxx and tier 7 armor in wow, its all just tier 3 armor recolored, and naxx was already a created instance from the original game just upped the mob difficulty. I really dont care if its the same characters, as long as the world is...

Based on what they are saying it should be a lot more popular, they are taking all the best things pretty much from all the best mmos and putting it in to FFXVI. Hopefully it is true ^_^

Thanks for the welcome. I always <3 the FF community. I played a good bit of FFXI, so I can not wait for FFXIV to come, I heard they are changing everything that sucked about XI : P That would be nice. Last time I played XI I spent 4 hours spamming LFG BLM with no luck.

I noticed there were no FF14 board yet? I know not much info is released yet, and hopefully that will change.
