Thanks to everyone for their thoughts, whether positive or constructed critisism I see a lot of mutual favorites among the posters. I believe the most favorited is To Zanarkand so far. Maybe because of the event it corresponds with, it's an emotional bit.
I agree with the former posters that Yuna just wanted to smile and be happy. After all, as far as she knew they would be among her last memories, why not keep them happy? Sure it would've been better for Tidus to tell him early on, but then everyone would be depressed and suck-ish. :sleep...
My personal belief is that the soundtrack of FFX is absolutely phenomenal. Nobuo Uematsu, in my opinion is amazing. The compositions you encounter throughout the story are emotional and awe-inspiring. Such as "Wandering"
