Achievement of the day

I beat Halo Reach on legendary ALONE. Yes it was frustrating but Half of it was already done so yesterday I just finished the rest of it. Some levels frustrated me though :hmph: But all in all I just took my time and fought with precision. So glad I dont have to do this ever again. Also I did it before christmas. Horray!

Getting up this morning was quite the achievement alone.

But on a more serious note I took the time to pratice songs on bass for my band session tomorrow, got through a tons of GS quest on my Xenosaga II game and listened to pretty much to whole of Morbid Angel's discography while doing it.

Well, looks like I forgot to get out of the house today though.....

Today I achieved not doing any work at work for a whole day :D

I also finally found a decent sized portable hard drive for under 100$!

you know how long I have been looking! :| ages!

Quite recently, I purchased the book, '100 Ways to Motivate Yourself' by Steve Chandler. Amusing, yes, but I never actually thought I'll own a book like that, but yeah! I actually bought it, and for the past two days, including today, I've been following what I've been reading in it.

Which, I feel, is quite the achievement. I mean, I have tried various other mediums before. Say, websites, or even some random seminars where I listened in... But it never worked because I never did anything they suggested for long...

So yeah. Achievement!

I managed to present my seminar paper to my class without feeling nervous. I may have slipped up on a few words, but my tongue was sort of tied for some reason. But my tutor was particularly interested in parts of it and was asking some questions afterwards. I've never really been able to present anything without feeling nervous or willing it to be over as soon as possible, so I'm pretty proud of myself!

Got all the housework done before the weekend!

Nearly completed my Christmas shopping too!

Got the new salt water fish in our new tank!

Oh and I left work early today. Only stayed to 6:15pm instead of 7pm. >.<

I'm feeling rather accomplished today. <3

I managed to be the first out of all the staff at work to win a prize for getting to my goal that I was given by the manager for Christmas!

Basically we were all given an individual goal and once we reached it we got to choose a prize.

I was the first one to win and I never even hardly work on the shop floor! I work out the back in the office, so for me to win a prize before everyone else, that involved working on the shop floor is awesome!

I stood up for myself today.

I spoke with my manager and told her how I felt and wasn't even phased when the manager was sort of having a go at me.

I felt relieved to get it all off my chest and feel much better now. I can't bare to think of what it would have been like tonight if I had of said nothing to her today. >.<

So, I cashed out about $110 bucks to spend on the rest of my Christmas shopping list for my family and, I didn't go over :ryan: i'm pretty bad when it comes to over-spending because I can never add up right :hmmm: (I hate you math!) but, luckily I had a few dollars extra so, I is very proud of myself :griin:

Why is everything so damn expensive? :rage:

Why is everything so damn expensive? :rage:

Hah. XD I know right? XD

Well technically it was last night but I got all of my Christmas wrapping done!

It took me from 9:30pm to midnight!

I had so much to do and I really didn't feel like doing it and so was going to leave it until today.

Thankfully I pushed myself to do it and got it out of the way and now I can just relax and sit on here for a bit until I need to get ready. =)

I got the end of month paperwork out of the way for my store and Franks other store he has in the shopping centre! YAY! The day before I was meant to go in as well!

Was going to go in and do it first thing tomorrow morning but I know I'd be too tired and I was scared I wouldn't get it all done before they started trade tomorrow.

I was a bit nervous to go to the other store as well because I couldn't remember where the light switches were or where the alarm was to turn it off before it started going nuts thinking I'd broken in or something. XD

Luckily I found the alarm first and then the lights.

Then my next task was to log into the system and do the reports, however my log in code doesn't work at the other store and I forgot to get someone else's on Friday before I left work.

I was ringing people all day trying to get a code but no one was picking up. Then I finally guessed someone's code because I knew their alarm code and assumed they used that code as their password on the computer and I was right. XD

This is yet another reason I went in today. I figured I'd have all the time in the world to figure out the log in code tonight rather than only have an hour or so tomorrow morning to sort it out and then once I've logged in I have to run two reports which take about an hour each. =/ What if I didn't get to do the reports? I'd be really stuffed.

But I was all done within an hour. <3 Now I can relax and sleep in tomorrow!

I went raving yesterday night until this morning. I met a girl there and managed to get her phone number. It might not seem a big achievement but I'm usually very shy when it comes to doing the first step. She was looking at me while we were dancing so I knew I had a chance.

We have talked for nearly half an hour and agreed to see each other again. She seem to be a really nice person and we will probably go out for dinner tomorrow. It would be my first date since almost a year so I hope I'm not too rusty.

Getting up before midday.

Seriously I thought those days were gone long ago.

I haven't slept in till or past midday since highschool. But lately I'm just so exhausted I can't help it, even if I do go to bed early.

Today was a great day though. Got up just before 9am and it's now 10am and I intend to make the day last for once. XD

I got out of the house. And I played a game of bowling, which I haven't done in 5 years. And I won :D

I was asked to work a 12 hour shift yesterday so I did because we were super busy at work. I left the house yesterday @ 0615 and got home at 2000...so it was a long day...it felt really good to get some sleep this am :awesome:

Finally moved Steve's old car out the front and put it up for sale!

It's been waiting to be sold for about six months now. Just sitting there doing nothing.

I really really hope we get some calls this week. >.<

It'd be so good to have that car out of the way and off our driveway and some extra much needed cash in our pocket. <3

No kidding.

I'm introverted for the most part, and generally am not the type that converse well with girls... Or even guys for that matter! I'm the type that requires the other conversation partner to be spontaneous. I can try to be, but mostly end up awkward....

... Though I think I cannot be fully blamed, really. It may be the way I approached the conversation, but really! If the other party doesn't show any interest enough to come up with a non-dead-end response, I wouldn't be stuck with these awkwardness, no?

But it's something I'll have to change over time, anyway. Tolerate more of these 'awkward' situations to emerge to a day when I'll be more of a true conversationalist. The key is 'interest'.

As I had said, I'm not very conversant. But today, by some mysterious working of fate, I ended up being the only guy in my group as we went for dinner together. Sweet...

... But no. No. No. Not that way. I can't too, legally. And no. Not ready.

It's a good start, really. That was awkward situation one, in my brand new days in my new school. From here on, I can only get more of such situations to improve my ability to converse, and to get to expand my social network.

I finally reached into three figure levels in Castle Age on Facebook by reaching Level 100. :D

Also, I thought of two good names for a hybrid of a fish and a wolf. 1; Wolfish. 2; Wolfin. xD

-posts before the day is out-
I got a 92 on my American Government exam. Though it is one of my easier (rather. . .boring) subjects to take, I wasn't entirely sure if I studied enough. :wacky: But I prepared goood . :griin:
Now I have my ASL exam tomorrow that I have to go to school to take at 7 in the morning (because our teacher has issues), so I'm really hoping I do well on this one . :gasp:
