Let's remember not to spam, and to say what you like about them/why you use them the most. It's not hard to get a paragraph or so, and one liners/posts with not much substance are considered spam. Thank you :3

Bahamut easily. I would always bring him in if needed to deliver a blast to finish off an enemy that was wearing my main players down.

Or if i knew an enemy was delivering big blows to my players, I would bring in Bahamut to take a few punches and knock off some health, but it wouldn't be enough to kill him overall. He just looks like a freakin' beast in the game and he was my favorite Aeon to summon each time.

I like Yojimbo because in my file, he does Zanmato a lot. He even did it to Nemesis.

I bought him with the lowest price possible and paid him consistently 3000 gil per attack. I paid more when he had full overdrive gauge.

I just love Anima's animation sequence. The Magus Sisters are great but their AI sometimes makes no sense whatsoever.

Aeons are used by me for show only, show I pick the one with the coolest look : Bahamut.
Yojimbo is also great. Coming down with a swagger with an unidentifiable four-legged creature.

I never really used any until I got the Magus Sisters, but after I did they were the only ones I used. All I really had to do in a battle was have all of my characters act so they got exp, then summon them and let them annihilate everything. Nothing was a challenge at all.

Shiva. She has is quick and dodges quite a lot of attacks and can heal herself with her ice magic. Against a slow hardhitting boss she can heal herself and attack before the boss acts gain.

I don't really like Anima's design, Shiva's got more style.

Well I found Ifrit, Shiva and Ixion handy because they could heal themselves with their magic. I think I liked either Shiva or the Magus sisters the most because they were my strongest. Shiva consistantly attacked for over the damage limit and she was brilliantly designed

I used Bahamut loads, the damage was brilliant and really helped me get through the game.
I was going to vote for Yojimbo, but then i remember getting sick of paying the thing! So I stopped using him...

Anima.

His overdrive is a hell of a show and does a lot of damage.
I also used bahamut a fair amount of times he's a good aeon to use before you get Anima or the Sisters.

I soon as I got Bahamut I used him... ALOT. :wacky: He was a great aeon and was very useful in battle. He's (IMO) one of the most powerful aeons in his game and I used him every chance I got. :monster:

I used all my aeons as meat shields. Whenever a boss's ultimate/strong attack would come around (no atb system or switching time delay ftw) I would just switch out an aeon to soak the damage. Once the aeons die out, I'd use my off characters instead.

This was done since I don't enjoy grinding/leveling in any of the FF games (anyway there doesn't seem to be a need to do so anymore beyond FFII or so). Going through the game quickly with sub-par characters makes the game more challenging/enjoyable.

Most of the time, I just fight using the characters, but when I would use a summon, it would almost always be Bahamut, and whether he is effective or not I would use him just for the fact that it is Bahamut. xD

Besides, I got all his stats up to 255 anyways, so no slow speed to worry about, and I mainly cast spells with him.

I'll start out with Haste, then possibly some other White Magic depending on how tough the monster is, then from there I just Doublecast Ultima.

When you use Doublecast, casting spells like Flare or Ultima won't change the turn order, so you don't lose turns, and you get to deal very nice damage, more than 99999 damage from any regular attack, or Impulse.

As a result of using Ultima with Bahamut so much, I noticed an odd bit of camera work some times when he casts it (when it switches to behind him, briefly before the spell begins, with the area turning black and the monster(s) getting trapped in that ball of exploding energy. :gasp:). <.<

Personally i adored ixion, i loved that design completely and still do, if there was one in real life id probably buy it and ride it to work rofllmao.

but as for damage wise i used the magus sisters for everything. those were wicked aeons.

Hmm...I'd have to say, even though I loved Ifrit and Bahamut, I used Shiva a good portion of the time. Not sure why, but I just love using her and watching her overdrive, I think it's pretty awesome. I use Anima as a runner up though XD

I use Magus Sisters the most, then Anima and Yojimbo.
I like Shiva and Valefor though.

I used a lot Bahamut and Ifrit, but in the end I think that I used Yojimbo the most of the time. He took care of bosses and powerful enemies. But most of the time I fought with characters so I don't really know which Aeon I used the most.

I use Bahamut the most. That's because when he was my strongest aeon I use to raise his attributes and learn new abilities alot, so when I got Anima, (Which is the strongest aeon.) my Bahamut was stronger.

I went through stages while playing FF X. Earlier on, Ixion was my baby and I would use no other Aeon; this, however, was only because I'm a nerd for anything related to lightning. Post-Bevelle, I fell in love with Bahamut, simply because he embodied so much that I loved about Final Fantasy summons - power, beauty, grace, and a world-shattering attack (hello Giga Flare, I'm doing quite well, thanks; yourself?).

Now, lemme say this. My first time through, I played the game pretty blind. I never looked anything up or talked to my friends about their experiences with the game. That said, the first time I saw Seymour summon Anima? Suffice to say I was addicted. Later on, when I learned that I could obtain Anima myself? Good god, I think the entire fandom probably heard me squealing. There's just something about her; the arduous pain and endless suffering she embodied spoke to a deeper part of the gaming experience for me.

So it goes without saying, I used her and abused her. And reveled in the reckless abandon she wreaked upon whatever enemies upon which I chose to unleash her. I'm a proud Anima fan, lol. The fact that her name is Italian for "soul" is a hell of a plus, too. In my opinion. >.>
