Are you pre-ordering?

Probably not considering a lot of the hype has died down, and if game stores know better they will have quite a bit of back stock. I mean the game will be excellent mind you, but seriously.. there is no real point to preorder it since it probably won't come with DLC on xbox, and plus PS3 will have it released as well.
 
I will be preordering.

I remember the release of FFXII, the line for the store was huge and eventually sold out :( I was so sad.

So this time im not making the same mistake twice.

But if there is a free gift and whatnot, then that just adds to it:D
 
I probably will pre-order. I will say that the FF series is probably more popular in Japan than it is here in the US (still popular though), but I'm not taking any chances now. Last time, people got so excited about FFXII that they started pushing and shoving each other to get inside the store. It got pretty ugly. So, yeah, there's a good chance that I'll pre-order, just in case.
 
Probably. It's supposed to come out about a week after my birthday, so I'll probably get my parents to preorder it as sort of a birthday present after my birthday.
 
I'll probably pre-order it from Amazon or Play a week or so before its release. I'm waiting to see if there is going to be a special edition at GAME, and if there is, exactly what comes with it. I try not to pre-order games too far in advance, because there are so many games I want to get that quite often I forget I've pre-ordered others and I don't have the money for them when the time comes to pay...

I can't believe how excited I am for this game, three months seems ages away.
No matter how well it sells, I just want to be able to play it as soon as I get home from college. Or maybe take the day off ;)
 
i have already pre-order my copy of the game from play.com (order confirmation just come the other day). plus i will snowed under at work to get a copy after work as i will still be recovering from this xmas.
 
If I can find a special edition anywhere, then I may do. Or just order it from my current workplace and try and get the guide at same time.
 
I already pre-ordered and once I can pre-order the special edition I will.
 
I'll pre-order closer the time of it's release here, so if anything pops up i don't need to worry
 
I'll preorder it, just in case. I'm pretty excited for it, and I know the day it comes out I will be extremely sad if other people are playing it and I am not.

They moved up the date for X unexpectedly, and I talked to the people in Gamestop then, and they only had around four copies left that weren't preorders. Fortunately, I had preordered it. They won't necessarily do that this time, but the faith I place in Gamestop is not very great.

Also, when XII was released, they had them available at midnight. ;) There were only about a dozen people there, and we all had to stand around in the cold, but it's fun hanging around, meeting other fan people, and being excited. So I definitely want to be there if that happens.

I'm not pre-ordering unless I can pre-order a special edition though, which Im sure we're getting so, Im going to hold off a little while
 
Never pre-ordered a game before...does it cost anything. Do you pay for the game and then pick it up on the release date, or is there something like a reservation fee?

If so, the minute I'm get my Christmas money, and after I've gotten Crystal Bearers, I am seriously pre-ordering! The game's coming out a week before my Spring Break, and I seriously plan to be dead to the world the entire time!

As for where I live...there's a strangely large amount of Final Fantasy fans in my town (...I guess...), so I'm not taking any chances.
 
I've got it pre-ordered. I don't think there'll be any shortages but you never know, a lot of people are looking forward to this game.
 
I'm not pre-ordering. The last really big launch I can remember was World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade (It was even on the news all day!), and even then I had absolutely no trouble finding a copy on launch day. :)
 
I don't think i'll be pre-ordering the game. In the past I've pre-ordered a game and it wasn't all that great:/. It looks like a good game but, I think I can wait until it comes out and maybe rent the game to see what it's like and weather i'll like it or not :monster:
 
No. I will just wait a while till the price drops a little before I fly to the gamestop to get it. I may go to my local gamestore to get it from my special source.
 
I honestly don't know if I'm pre-ordering the game yet or not. I mean I did for XII when it came out, but now that I'm always on the move and away from home, I'm not sure where I'll be when it releases so I'll probably just try to pick it up in-store the day it comes out. Sure there may be a mad rush for the game, but I'll try to get there early enough to fight for my copy of FFXIII.

ive pre-ordered before from shops and online the shop charged like a quid reservation, so that doesnt really dent the bank balance any

online ive pre-ordered and paid for the game there and then
