is barf-bag hideous in my opinion. I'm not really in the game of getting all "hot and wild" over pixels anyhow... but at least some of the other FF chracters you could at least say had cuteness or some attractive features. But Ashe is just so incredibly ugly it's not even speakable. She's like some college frat guys last resort. She's a worse decision than thinking drinking half a bottle of Jack and singing show tunes in your underwear for your mother. She's a pigglet in hot pants. I can't stand her look. It's not just that she doesn't look regal. She looks like the freaking missing link! I think the scientists should study her because apparently the Queen of Dalmasca was an orangutan.

Also, they designed her to look French, if that matters for any of you.

She isn't ugly, she just looks too serious most of the time, but who can blame her? Better looking then quite a few female characters from other FF's though.
 
At first before the game was released here in America I thoguht she was pretty damn hot. I raved over her and how she'd be up there with Tifa and FFX-2's Rikku on the list. But then when I got into playing the game, I really didn't see that way at all. I thought she was cute and good looking, but not "hot" like my initial thoughts. She's definitely not hideous though.
 
I don't find her ugly at all. Quite the contrary, actually. She's actually prettier than some of the FF characters. I wouldn't say she's the typical "cute" FF female character because FFXII is a serious game, therefore SE made her traits fit in her role as a princess. A serious princess. I mean, she has too many problems to be all cutesy. I'm actually glad they made her character that way. I like serious female lead characters. It's a great change. And she's certainly no damsel in distress. :)

Of course, guys may not agree with me on this. They want to see "skin" from FF female characters. They want them "hot." But, some girl players such as myself, are more into the seriousness and personal traits of a FF female lead. She doesn't really have to be pretty or hot. Just as long as she's likable, then that's enough, IMO.

She's alright. If you wanna talk ugly, then that's Garnet/Dagger from FF9.
If I were Zidane, I would've pretended I was dead after the events st the Iifa Tree to never see her again. Now if were gonna talk hot, that's no doubt Riku from FFX2. My, my, my how you've grown.

Ashe is cute in the game, but that pic you have of a fat lady dressed up like Ashe is really disgusting
 
I think that picture looks very ugly, but in game she looks damn hot *0*. I always try to zoom her butt =x
Just in the look, because I hate his personality.
 
Well this was a good thread. It answered the question "What gender is Shin", which I've been wondering, and it also brought into question the gender of the cos-player above. Also koly, there's no need to quote my entire post if you're just going to say one damn sentence. It's the topic of the thread. I think people will know what you're talking about if you don't quote it.

I think I like Mitsuki's topic the best. It's a perfect example of how men and women see beauty as something completely different. I make a topic about her being ugly. She retorts with saying that she hwas a nice personality. Yea... I'm sure guys like Tifa cause she's got a nice personality. And I don't really care if FF characters show skin or have big boobies or any of that crap (although it never hurts) but when she's so ugly my dog wouldn't play with her. Yea... she needs a fixing.

Honestly, I don't blame her ugliosity (newest word in the Aztec dictionary) on the game designers. They used a low polygon count for the game so they could fit more info on the disc. That's why all of the people have somewhat boxy faces at certain points in the game. It's not always present but it certainly is there if you have a good eye for it.

She's aight. Every character is pretty uniform looking in the game, in my opinion, as even some of the guys are pretty feminine (but that seems like a recurring even when involving the main characters).

I use her as my healer in the game. I use her quite often.

I think she's one of the hottest FF female leads in a while. I mean she is hotter than Garnet and Yuna. She looks pretty fine the the cut scenes.

I think shes hot, but her hair looks like shes dyed it to cover up her greys and its finally showing through.
 
I loved the original post, and the accompanying photos. Totally ROFL quality.

Of course...I am one of those who cannot stand to look at Ashe. Not that she's "ugly," just she seems so wimpy and I can't stand her show-off-my-tater-tots clothes. And what kind of princess wears a red-hot miniskirt? I can't stand when she does her Mist abilities and her dumb little left leg goes up and she squeals like an idiot pig, either. I hate her the most of all the females, I guess, though it's close to a tie with useless old Penelo (but at least Penelo's clothes don't make me want to throw up). I use Fran but actually I can't stand the way she's dressed either.... *sigh* I don't know what kind of girls fight in high-heeled Playboy bunny outfits, but whatever.

To be fair, I think the men are dressed like morons too. Vaan looks like a ratty idiot, I hate Basch's pseudo-armor and flexi-boots, and the pirate, (you know, what's-his-name) is the only one even halfway decently clothed in nice things, but then he has a smarmy attitude about it.

ashe doesnt want to tell everybody that she is princess ashe who was believed to be dead and she isnt whimpy she is mature
