Personally i Loved the card game in this game...at first i was like a lot of people and only played it through the first disk and got a bit sick of it...but the thing that really got me into playing it again was wanting to play the card game...it was such a great mini game it helped me overlook the drawing system...glad i beat it too...great ending...

Triple Triad is amazing. I didn't play that much on my first playthrough because I didn't get any of the good cards and I didn't feel like dealing with all of the bad rules infecting the world like a virus, but the second time around I really got into it. I didn't even want to convert my cards to good items at the end of the game!

To tell you the truth, I ignored FFIX's card game. I loved Blitzball in FFX, though.

I loooove this card game! I even went the extra mile and got all the characters card. =) It was so enjoyable that when I feel like I need a break from the storyline, I turn to the card game.

Yeah, I'm a huge fan of Triple Triad. It has kept me entertained for years. It's way funner than FFIX's card game, in my opinion. I dunno why, maybe because of the elements. Anyways, it will always win over FFIX's dull, unrefined system.

Triple Triad was one of the most enjoyable parts of the game, and it can be tough trying to get the whole collection took me a while, and i found the differing rules through out the game prevented it from becoming boring...never had 9 long enough to get into that game, or even learn the rules. It would be awesome if they released it as a game of its own, either for a console or just a deck, i would play for hours if i had an opponent.

I got the hang of Triple Triad pretty easily but.......I still found it boring :/ I had more fun with Tetra Master :P

It has been released as an online game, try googleing it.

I for one loved Triple Triad, much better thatn IX's Tetra Master. Gets annoying once the rules start mounting up but still fun none the less.

Yes, I loved this game. I am always kind of into the card games though. I was proud when I got the sweet cards I didn't want to turn them into items.

Omg it took me so long to figure out how to play this game with all the different rules. But it was really fun, and worth it to get all the rare cards and modify them. ^_^

I just loved the game. I ask my sister, a really good drawer, to make me a board of the TT and it really looks like an original lol. I also printed one of each card (medium-good quality). I am playing often with my cousin who's also a FFVIII maniac.

Yeah, I love the TT in FFVIII It's really cool, I used to lose quite a lot with all the different rules and all, But i'm getting used to it.

I hated it........... In the beginning, because I always lost...
I really had not a clue about how it worked, but now I play the cardgame for an hour, so I can refine them into nice items

I was pretty terrible at the card game and the rule changes could often leave me utterly baffled, but I have to admit Triple Triad was pretty addictive, especially trying to refine items from the cards to get new weapons etc. Though sod's law often decreed whenever there was a card I needed, I'd lose or draw the game...

Triple Triad was a lot better than Tetra Master imo. The random rule sucked though. When someone had a rare card i needed (like the Laguna and Squall cards) and the random rule was in effect i'd mod all my cards except the GFs and characters cards.

I loved TT i always used to put one of each of the GF cards in each corner: Diablos top left Odin bottom left then sacred and minatour on each right corner then use other GFs to fill in the gaps, twas Unbeatable.....Unless of course youve been to esthar or wherever and the random rule is now in effect

It was a nice game, but some of the local rules you picked up could really screw you over *coughRandomcough* :P Some of the other rules were difficult to understand too, like the 'Same' one.
I much preferred the game from FFIX. The way your card values could change made the game last longer and you had something to aim for. There was also more freedom in IX due to a bigger board to play on
