Best Card Game?

I thought the card game was great i loved it. i had all the best cards apart from ifrit because i lost it to a guy in timber. Haha i had so much fun on that game :)
 
this kind of mini game is wot the newer FF are missing ! of corse there are mini games but they just never had the same impact on me as cards !!
 
this was a great mini game....next to blitzball i think they are tied for first...then it would be choco. racing in second
 
I remember when i played TT (and still am playing since finding the game again and through this RPG) the many random rules that was included in most of the matches. I also remember collecting every single card (including all Rare cards (including Pupu)) and i had loads of fun on it. I definitely considered this a big break from the main game.
 
Triple traid kicks ass.

It's the primary reason why my Game Time went above the 60 hour mark.
 
I think both games had great card games (Final fantasy 8 and 9). Both are good in diffrent ways.
 
Sometimes IX's card game confused me. I liked VIII's more. I liked getting all of the character cards and mudering everyone with them. ^_^
 
Yeah, particularly with reference to the Combos and the Same combo moves.

There was a real strategy involved in the games!
 
Eh, I liked the FFIX Tetra Master wayyy better, but this one was alright I guess. I didn't spend too much time on it though because I was mainly focused on getting the GF's and just finishing the game.
 
I liked Triple Triad more simply because of how much simpler it is. There is only one number to worry about, so easy there. Random Rule in efffect? Mod all your cards that are level 6 and down and win every time. Mod a card you didn't mean to? You can win them all back from Quistis and the Queen whatserface. And having the character cards was just cool.
 
I loved this one over IX's, especially the Queen of Cards side quest. I remember it taking me forever to get all the card in the game and when I did, I had a hard time just giving them up and refining them for items Lol...
 
My friend just started up with Triple Triad on Disc 2 on her file (for some reason, she decided not to play that much until she was trying to escape from the D-District Prison), and I was trying to think of my favorite rules.

I'd say my favorite is probably "All," because I'm greedy. Once I got a few good cards I was confident I'd win (or at least draw) every time. I think "Direct" is probably the worst rule, because inevitably one of my favorite cards would get flipped by the opponent, no matter how seemingly flawless my strategy.

Uh huh, Level 8 GF Cards, Level 9 GF Cards & Level 10 Character Cards. Unfortunately you only get one of each. Now, I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure once their refined, their gone!
 
see thats what alot of ppl get wrong gf cards of ff8 are not the only ones i cant reveal how i got cause i dont remember and i dont know if it was a glit or not all i know is that i had 2infrits and 10cerberus(i battle alot and im mean ALOT!)but try this when go to laguna try battling everbody there will be a legend battle and supposeable give u gf card
 
i found the ff9 one to be more random
and ff8 one required more strategy
