Ahh, the 90's. Power Rangers, Kurt Cobain, Nintendo 64, Mortal Kombat, Bill Clinton and Monica Lewinsky, Goosebumps, boy bands, girl groups, grunge...the list goes on and on.

For all of you who grew up in the 90's and remember them fondly, post some of your favorite TV shows, music, or any other 90's trends you can think of here.

MC Hammer and flair pants for the win :monster:. I always wanted a pair of them. Goosebumps books were cool too, and so was the TV show to an extent. I loved Thomas the Tank as a child. It's still on the go now, apparently but I doubt it's as good as it used to be. I watched Mighty Max a lot when I was about 7 too, and I had loads of the toys. xD
90s dance is still good today, like DJ Belissima, ATB, Eiffel 65 and the like. I wasn't much a music person back then, but I like to listen to stuff like that now occasionally :wacky:. It was a good time for Disney too; The Jungle Book, The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast were all great.
For the most part of the 90s, Carlisle were a half decent football team, winning Division 3 and the Auto Windscreens Shield. But then came relegation, and a narrow escape of relegation again.
On the whole it was a great, great decade the nineties.

Born in 1987. I totally was a 90s kid!

Fads I remembered....
Pogs
Slap bracelets
Furby craze - Never had one. :monster:
Tamagotchis - Those things got annoying after a while.
Beanie Babies - I had a few of those. >< I remember some of them costs hundreds.
Pokemon - Yeah I collected the cards.

Saying/hand gestures:
Totally
Talk to the hand
Loser
Wassup!?
What would Jesus do?
Girl Power! - Yeah.......I liked the Spice girls......

Born in 1980 I was more of a 80's kid, the cartoons back then were great - Thundercats, Transformers, He-Man, Mask the list goes on and on.

nods. so with power rangers.

the PlayStation era also..... Square's best titles like Brave fencer Musashi, Parasite Eve, FF7-9

the lovely writing through telegrams because mobile phones and emails weren't up yet.

the other thing i liked about the 90's is the fact that they were much simpler than now and there wasnt the violence about either

I agree things were simple there. Our time today is like FFX-2. whored out.. but not totally bad.

good point lol, im actually surprised im here at all, the area where i used to live as a little kid was full of drug addicts and there were about three or four drug raids a week and i was right near the block of flats where it all happened

I thought people back then were more innocent and very nice. but no one's as mean as today's either. It could've been a good era to end the world don't you think? most things these days are just revived and some being milked like in the TV shows, songs, and video games.

yeah true, mind you, they have brought back super mario which is kwl

transformers and beast wars, dragon ball Z, all the great nickelodeon shows, anything on cartoon network as well.

Born in 1989!

Loved the Nintendo 64, Mario 64 ftw! Banjo and Kazuyi(Sp?) dunno if any of you played it but it was great. The first metal gear solid for the PS1.

Going out and playing football every single night, just 2 or 3 of us. Hide and seek! Haha that game was quality.

Collected Pokemon cards too. TV shows im not too sure of, have never been a big TV fan..and i'm still not.

Good Times :D

A few things that I sincerely love about the 90s...even though some of them were also around in the 80's:

Fresh Prince of Belair
Roseanne
Married with Children
(All shows that I watched throughout my childhood and that I still watch today).

Giga Pets
(Mine was a dinosaur, and my best friend had a koala). ^.^

transformers and beastwars were awesome and still are, they have continued the transformers series but they finished the beatwars and went onto the beast machines back on cybertron and they are still kwl, i keep watching them even though im 17 lol
