Anime Death Note

Death Note, huh?...That's one of my favourite animes ever!!! I've seen all of the episodes...Except the last one...I've gotta see it!
I was shocked when L died...Hm...He was a cool character, I liked the way he was thinking...

...Hm...And I have to look for the manga, too! >_<

This has got to be my favorite anime ever. Although I love the mindless violence of most anime, Deathnote has hardly any violence/bloodshed (not counting all the heartattacks and occasional accident lol), yet it still rocks! It actually makes you think and say things (about Light) like "You clever basterd". I haven't gotten my hand on the manga, but I watched all the episodes and love them Shocked how it ends, but won't say anything.

I'd say my favorite character was Ryuk. All this was because he got bored lol.
 
I absolutely love this manga. It's so well thought out, eee! I'm a serious L and Light fangirl--though I admit I cried when L died, but not for Light. XP I did feel bad for him, though...

Then again, I also ♥ Matsuda! *glomps*
 
I love this anime. The art is absolutely beautiful. Augh, it's so well animated.

...I must say though, I really hated Light. He has NO redeeming qualities. He just uses everyone around him and is a complete sociopathic megalomaniac. He started out relatively okay, but...wow, talk about a sharp downward spiral.
I peed myself with joy when he died. Seeing him humiliated like that was amaaaaazing.
L was awesome! Ryuuk was equally awesome. Mikami was...cool in a really scary way. He had style.

One thing I loved about Death Note was that it was NOT at all cheap with killing of its characters. I hate animes that are really cheap with characters (and most are). Death Note killed them off left and right. It was wonderful! No one was safe! Also, the writing was very clever. ...Although the tiny TV in the potato chip bag was absolutely ridiculous and over the top.
 
Again can people please use spoliers. Not everyone has completed kit and its really manners.

Im enjoying the manga so much, very gripping and I cant get over the genuis of the creator.
 
I finally got the first manga volume and I really like it. At first I though it was just going to by some overhyped story that about 75% of the anime community raves about but it definently is not. The storyline is very unique. I look foreward to reading more. ^_^

I actually like Light because he appears to be a model student but shortly after the series begins he becomes downright crazy :O
 
One of my favorite animes so far. I've seen all the dubbed episodes but I might have to start watching the subbed because it's hard to wait a week for each episode. Light is a great main character and I haven't been disappointed with an episode yet.

EXACTLY on the killingness of it. I'm really like how alot of them get killed off, almost every death is so emotional. Y_Y And they don't worry about offending/losing readers/watchers by killing of popular characters.

Actually, I've read that some people actually 1oo% stopped watching the anime or reading the manga after L died.

And the TV thing, that was hilarious when it had to be thrown away. Poor Light was annoyed. XD And I love how he started out so clean-slated and model-student-like, and he turned out all wacko.

AND I LOVE L. L is one of the bestest anime characters ever. I love how he wouldn't really be expected to be the one trying to save the day, but Light looks like a hero type, but their kinda reversed.
 
It's awesome and got lots of hot anime chicks, I dunno about you guys but I like Misa..But..She's freakin stupid!!

I just read vol 9 and I absolutely love Mello. Now he's a real badass. Funny thing is, I though he was a girl at first. XD

Disagreed. My favorite part of Death Note started when Mikami came into the scene, and the ending. God. I LOVED the ending.

Way to spoil, btw.

Leki thought he was a she to. XD Though he's bloody awesome. But Leki loves Matt the best, and Leki hasn't even read his part yet. XD Just seen fan fictions and fanvideos.

I have to say so far, from only seeing ONE episode! I really want to take my time watching each episode. It's pretty good and interesting. I don't want to spoil too much though but who here loves it?

There's also a movie for it... I really want to see it so is the movie any good too?
