lol, no, he wasn't. I just meant he's my first choice for who I want in the game, and then second choice would be Auron.

I would've preferred Balthier over Vaan as well as a character, however he's better known to be using a rifle in battle, and that probably wouldn't be applied well in Dissidia's battle system.
 
Some 3rd Costumes revealed for four characters:

Sephiroth: Original FFVII outfit
Cloud: Amano designed
Cecil: DS version
Golbez: Unmasked, FFIV: The After style


I'm surprised but very happy with Golbez's one.
 
I don't mind Cloud's and Seph's outfits (Cloud's is cool, Seph's look like the KH ver.). Isn't Cecil's costume... just his paladin armour 0_0?

Golbez's... Why can't his style be like the one in his FF4:TAY sprite? So much handsome there... :hmmm:
 
Oooh, more Cloud! Is there a translation for that scan, yet?

I thought Seph's Dissidia outfit was essencially his FF7 one anyway, I don't see much difference O_O

And GOlbez looks sexy unmasked :ohoho: and Cecil as well, I thought his Dissidia look was his DS look :hmmm: I would've preferred his PS1/NES sprite look tbh

Dissidia Sephiroth had some extra beaded accessory and some sash thing around his hips, but yeah, for the most part, his "FFVII" outfit isn't that much different. It may have been better to just give him altered colours like they did for other characters since he essentially only had two outfits :wacky:\

And yes, zomg, LOVING unmasked Golbez a lot ♥

I could check. I don't know how to go back pages on the PSP without loading too much information on the memory card xD

Well either way, I like Cecil's suit. I can't see the difference for Sephy...
 
The difference in Sephiroth's new alt is that it's his pure, original Nomura-design.
His default in the first game was Amano's design and had beads and flowy bits and stuff, as well as different shoulder-guards.

Oooh, Cecil in his DS costume, I likie! I think I like his DS costume better than his original Amano costume. X3
Also on the subject of Tifa, her character design looks so pretty! But I kinda wish her AC costume was her default costume.
 
Well it does not really matter to be honest. You can make it her default once you use it. I imagine it will need to be unlocked and such. Just use AC costume before you start the battle. Such as in Dissidia I I liked the green haired Terra so I would use that one as my default.

Show some respect for the classics, the original FFVII is her best outfit.
Um it may have said already, but.........Is something different about Tifa's...........assets?

Also, I just realised... Cloud has 4 outfits now? :rage:

And I think Cloud has the three main outfits still, but the fourth one is a bonus costume you get with something else (I can't remember what you got it with now; some sort of game anyway).

As for the alternate costumes posted in the last few pages... I'm loving Golbez's costume, but I do feel quite cheated by the rest. There just isn't a large difference between their main costumes and their alternate costumes. Cloud's Amamo look looked much better in an earlier reveal. It seems in this recent photo that they've got rid of the zebra pattern on his arm, and he looks more similar to his FFVII design in that screenshot.
