Anyways, back on subject, God? No. I believe it is just a made-up theory to make us feel better about ourselves. It is to fill the void of the human mind. Sure, there may be some higher power that created time itself, but it is not "God". Chances are that it is a force reacting with another force that we have yet to believe in. Maybe the theory of a 4th Dimension or something along those lines.
Another way to put this is using the egotistical minds that we all have to make up such a concept to put us better than anything else. It isn't the most dignified concept, but sure it is a possibility.
