Don't worry, I never take offense. And you're right too, to be fair I've cheated and piggy-backed off some other people's mistakes. But if I'm in the party I share some of the experience, so it still gets me closer to a level up. Also, as far as context goes you're definitely right. I've got financial mistakes to make I simply don't have the resources to make yet. (and other stuff too)

I'd tell her to go fuck herself and screen them on her own I've noticed a tendency in people (male and female) to let a crush use them, since even if they know they don't have a chance, at least their crush is paying attention to them.

I recommend telling her to do it herself, because after you stop liking her you'll be like "damnit, why'd I do all that for her? she didn't deserve it."

I'd help them with their homework even though outside of class they wanted nothing to do with me, simply because any interaction with them was better than none...at least then it was. However horrendous your upbringing was, you're clearly capable of forming your own opinion on things and making/taking your own decisions. One bad experience shouldn't write you off forever and relationships take a lot of work to survive. It's one thing not being able to find anyone, but deliberately not even trying just screams that you're scared of intimacy, really, or even that you're scared of failing in a relationship.

Basically, instead of mumping about how Jehovah's Witnesses ruined your life, why not set the rest of your life so that you can fix anything that was damaged in your childhood? Cut your ties and write your own future - it doesn't have to be as plain as yes/no to games/love, respectively.
