I listen to Final Fantasy music outside gaming on a regular basis, both on my PC at home and on my portable CD player on the road. I also listen to it at other people's homes. I also do Final Fantasy music performances. I performed Final Fantasy X's "To Zanarkand" on the piano at an institution and later a recital. I also sang "Suteki Da Ne" at the same institution. My Final Fantasy music performances received a positive reception from the audience. I can also sing Final Fantasy X-2's "1000 Words" in acapella.

Suteki Da Ne.. Which series was it from already.. I know I've heard it before, but forgot..
Me, myself also listen to FF Soundtracks often too. I can't help but be amazed by these amazing (To me) pieces of music.. Plus the fact Nobou Uematsu is actually self-taught...
I won't be able to sing them out, nor do i know the piano, sadly. (I'm comtemplating taking up the piano however, haha)

Suteki Da Ne is from Final Fantasy X. It is my favorite video game song ever, especially the orchestrated version.

Gee..? Well, my favourite comes from FFIX's Melody Of Life.. Lyrics and tune, both equally appealing already.

I have the complete OST from FFVII - FFX, as well as DoC and AC. I also have a few tracks from FFIII-VI, XI, X-2, and The Black Mages. They are all on storage disks, though can easily be burned onto CDs for easy listening.

In short, yes.

I only have the OST from VII but it really is quality, I love listening to the Chocobo theme it makes me giggle.
But yeah, I like to like to listen to it quite alot ^^

I love FF music and I have all my favorite FF albums on my PC ready to listen to.

I used to have a complete collection of FF music thats over 8GB but I got rid of everything I didn't listen to so much and kept just my favorites when my PCs memory started to disappear lol.

I definitely listen to FF music outside of gaming :) I have it on my ipod ready to listen to whenever I want! :D nothing like good ol' final fantasy music to jump start my day! :)

I'm not one to download entire soundtracks or enjoy all of the various 'unimportant' pieces, but I do enjoy listening to specific pieces. One-Winged Angel [and most other versions of the original], Liberi Fatali, Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinosec, Eyes on Me, Julia's Piano Solo, Rose of May/Loss of Me, Melodies of Life, The Dark Messenger ... to name a few. I suppose I only really like the critically acclaimed pieces - as I say, I'm not a fan of entire soundtracks and whatnot.

My hats off to anyone who can play any form To Zanarkand. It is, by far, the best.

At the moment I've got a silly amount of game music on my IPod including the soundtracks of FF's 1 -12 and a few of the spin-offs. I do listen to the stuff occasionally but they're not the first soundtracks I'd go for, I prefer Action/Fighting game music to be honest, I need to be in a pretty chilled mood to listen to rpg music for the most part.

I don't enjoy listening to an awful lot of FF-based music outside of playing the game, but there is a compilation on my playlist. The most of which belongs to boss battles, and a few items from Advent Children (Battle in the Forgotten City and Beyond the Wasteland being the most notable).

Yes, i actually have the soundtrack to every FF game on my computer and on my ipod. I've listened to all of them but I do have favorites. I listen to the FF IX, FFVIII and FF VII soundtracks more than any of them.

I have several from each final fantasy, but i have a lot more from FFXII, because it's music I find more interesting, tho i had to delete a couple of songs for some other tracks from PotO.

Yup i do...
I have The black mages Battle theme & Jenova on my MP3 Player....But i have loads of original versions on my PC

My PC's full of FF songs, and I commit them to CD quite often for long journeys or something to listen to when I'm working on something or just chilling out.

Plus it makes great dance music for my son!:D

I just got back from BC, Canada (I live in Manitoba, Canada) and I was able to go to a couple of anime stores (there's only like one in Winnipeg I think) so I bought the soundtracks for Crisis Core and VII. I also bought soundtracks for Chrono Cross, Kingdom Hearts 1, Kingdom Hearts 2, part of the Chrono Trigger soundtrack collection (It's apparantly numerous CDs...)

If I go back to Vancouver, BC, Canada I'll be buying the rest. :)

My non-gamer parents have listened to Final Fantasy music before, mostly in orchestrated form. Even non-gamers listen to Final Fantasy music. When I lived in at home during in the 2000s, I played Final Fantasy music in front of my father on the road. He has a positive opinion about Final Fantasy music, especially the orchestral rendition of the Final Fantasy VIII song "Love Will Grow" and the orchestrated version of Final Fantasy X's "Suteki Da Ne." I did Final Fantasy X related performances, like playing "To Zanarkand" on the piano and doing a karaoke performance of the orchestrated version of "Suteki Da Ne." I developed a karaoke MP3+G on "Suteki Da Ne."

Yeah, I do. As a matter of fact I have Eyes on You playing right now. xD

I don't listen to them purposely, but they're on my iTunes playlist and automatically play so.... I don't really mind them, but it's not my first choice of music.
