Would you rather watch it dubbed or subbed?
I like dubbed more, but when the voices are annoying or they cut out some parts or edited the episodes because it's english version then ill go to subbed.
I watch most of my animes subbed tho.

Erm i would go 4 subs actually...unless they r really bad...but dubbed is ok...i watched dubbed more often tho for my sisters sake...shes younger n not so hot at the reading

I prefer to watch with sub fisrt so that i can hear the original voices, then later I switch to dubbed casue the sub is too much reading and I miss out on the action lol

It depends how i'm feeling. Sometimes i can't be bothered reading sub titiles but then again most dubs annoy the hell out of me for example G-gundam, the actual shows ace but i had the miss fortune of buying it with english dubs.... bad mistake, since it comes with japanese audio but no subtitles. lol.

And i agree that dubs cut and edit shows for example card captor sakura, and dragon ball z ( which iv'e only watched a few times), which in the dubbed version translates wrong....

(sorry if im not making much sense, kind of hung over)

It annoys me when people insist on only ever watching Subs...

To be honest they never really cut the episodes for english release, only for release on TV.

I like subs... mostly for the direct translation, but sometimes Dubs just make it easier.

i never really hate the voices of anime and i cannot stand to read my anime, i prefer to watch it through and through.

I usually go for subbed first because I like watching animes as soon as they come out, and normally they're in Japanese so it has to be subbed. I like hearing the original voice actors too.
Take Naruto for example. I'm up to date with the episodes because I watched them all subbed. It's fairly new here [episode 30ish I think now] and so we're a bit behind.
I then watch the dubbed because I like hearing the new voices and comparing the voice actors. Besides, with dubbedm, you don't have to read anything and so your eyes can concentrate 100% on the action and not words at the bottom of the screen.

subbed usually. I dont like the way the voices sound in English so i stick with subbed

It depends. If it's Naruto or something where the american voice actors suck, the subbed. otherwise, dubbed.

Most of the time I'll go for subtitles, but if it's on TV, I don't mind dubbed. For example, I've never seen Cowboy Bebop subtitled- only dubbed in English.

I prefer subbed if I have a choice. However, I am open to dubbed stuff as long as it is dubbed well (Cowboy Bebop, Fruits Basket, Full Metal Alchemist are examples). It is also just easier to get into the show sometimes when the characters speak your language.

xD

Definitely subbed for me. Japanese actors are extremely good. They have emotion in their voices. However, there's some shows that are also well done as dubbed. Take Dragon Ball Z, for example. Hmm, so I suppose it really does depends on the actors.

There are a couple animes that I would rather watch dubbed: Golden Boy, Fruit Basket, Dragon Ball Z and Rurouni Kenshin.

Other than that, it really depends on the voice actors and actresses. I do find that Japanese seiryu's are much better in that they are more dramatic and emotional. But there are times when I don't like the line-ups such as in Dragon Ball Z. Goku has such a girly voice.

I used to always watch my anime subbed. But unfortunantly, my eyes arent as good as they used to be, so now I watch most of it dubbed. If the dubbing is just terrible (One Piece!), then I will switch it over to the sub and sit close to the TV.

I watch most of my anime dubbed, but only if its well done. If it has really crappy voice overs then i go with subbed.

i prefer subs, in my experience , when a show is dubbed it takes something away from it.
