No comments on my Madame Mirage tag though?

Anyway, not really all that creative but I like it.
I thought the white text looked good when it was white TBH.

The blur on his arm to left doesn't really make sense because the fire behind it sharp. But I can't be arsed changing it.

Any CnC is appreciated.

I love the red and orange lighting down the bottom! It all looks amazing!

I agree on the arm though. =P It would look better if it was sharpened.

Fantastic lighting and the text looks awesome! Great fonts used, especially on 'GHOST' and the placement is well done. I like that you chose white and that you didn't add a stroke to it either.

Text always looks better without a stroke around it in my opinion.

Great border too! It really suits this signature.

The background is very detailed and intriguing and I love how you've made that image sit over her face like that. =0 It looks tricky to pull off. >.<

Great blending and that source of light at the top looks great!

I think the border suits this signature too. It has a bit of a quirky feel about this signature in my opinion, which is a good thing. Very different.

The texture is very harsh and realistic which I really like about it.

I really like the grainy, matte texture of the background too. It looks like a textured piece of paper.

Thanks for the comments Kandy! I used various shapes, coloured them white and set them on difference as their blending mode to get the B/W theme.

I can't believe it didn't win! Opinions I suppose. xD

But I think this is your best piece yet. When I saw it I couldn't make out what it said, until it was pointed out in the SB. But even without knowing if it said anything, it's a drop dead gorgeous piece.

You should be so proud of it. The whole signature looks 'in place', everything looks spot on, the colours, I LOVE the little detail you used to screw the letters 'on to' the wood.

Definitely a very very inspiring signature, and extremely creative.

I dunno how you did this but this a seriously awesome awesome piece. I can say this is probadly one of if not the best text tags on a canvas that size ive ever saw. The way youv stacked the letters is fantastic, i mean it even has depth as youv added the shadow to the letters behind. Without a doubt the best thing ive seen you make to date mate and it was the best in sotw, you were unlucky to lose.
Also the colours, never really seen anyone use colours like that before. I really like it, interesting choice but it absolutely works 100%.

Thanks for the kind comments. The GFXers that I respect liked the tag so I'm not too fussed about losing.

very nice tag overall though i thought thee lighting could be improved upon a little it seems really strong on her face when combined with the small source. Minor thing though doesnt mar the tag whatsoever. Nice work

Those effects look like they burn the sig in an awesome way. They really bring out the focal and make the piece look really good. The piece looks real vibrant and really pops out to me. The background looks great and has a great theme. Love the render and it's placement, too

The floral design looks really nice. The only minor thing that might just be me at this time of the night (?) is her right eye. Maybe a bit too sharpened. Tbh, barely noticeable. I love how you placed the text.

Milla is awesome. I love nearly every movie she has ever been in!

Gorgeous signature.

The black and white works well around her and makes her stand out more as the focal due to the colours.

I love the purple bits around her. It's gorgeous!

Very clean image and the lighting is well directed.

Great choice of fonts too!

The only minor thing that might just be me at this time of the night (?) is her right eye.

I noticed that as well. I didn't know what to do with it, the original stock made it look like she didn't have a pupil so that may be the problem.

Anyway, got some cool new resources and had a play around with them. This is what I came up with:

The font is gorgeous. It actually looks really shiney. You caught the focal perfectly, and the urban feel to it makes it even nicer.
