~Eureka Academy: Exitium~

Eile Mires

Eile soon entered the dinner room and she soon commanded the sigh of a good portion of the men there just by her dress itself. Ignoring the gazes, Eile instantly went over to the drinks
. She took noticed of a woman with a bandage over one eye as she walked pass her for the drinks. If there was ever a flaw in her travels, it has to be running out of food. But Eile held herself back from just grabbing a plate. She soon reached the drinks table as she grabbed a cup and ladle poured her drink. Turning around, Eile just stood there and took a sip as she watched the students walk in, waiting for someone to talk to her.

---Jack Miezer---

The cyborg teacher entered the room after a few students entered and as soon as he got in, he felt eyes on him. Whispers could be heard from the Arma students that saw Jack fight.

"Is he it?"
"He must be."
"The white warrior."
"What I wouldn't give to have some one on one tutoring from him."

Ignoring the whispers, Jack walked further into the room as his path was opened by the students stepping aside to let him through until he reached the headmaster's chair. He stood to it's right and stood there, keeping watch on everything that could happen. He still had all of his weaponry on him in case another shade attack happens or a fight breaks out and he needs to jump in and stop it.

Flick Rommas

Flick quietly went into his dorm and changed into a suit and tie for the dance tonight, although Flick never did learn to dance, and the first few years here he just stood in the corner and talked to random people, and when asked to dance he always smiled and said "no thanks cast a spell and now I got two left feet" Which usually made the girls laugh and that was that.

Flick really just didn't like to dance at all, and the only reason why he ever went to this the ball was to see the first year students, and also he was the head of the Magia house and he had to set a good impression on the other Magia.

As Flick came out of his dorm he headed down the hall he saw a few members of the Disciplinary Committee, first one he saw was Ophelia he didn't say much just gave a nice smile at her as he passed by. Flick didn't have much love for the Disciplinary Committee and they didn't have much love for him, Flick wasn't a trouble maker or anything, he just felt sometimes they were too strict, and that cause him to bump heads with them, none more than Lyra, who was standing right at the entrance of the venue, which Flick knew, Lyra didn't really want to go to this, but only did just to keep everyone in line.

"Nice to see you Miss Lyra Scarlet, you are looking amazing as always" Flick said as he smiled at her.
Flick always tried to be at least civil and friendly with the members, but usually that only lasted a few days before he bumped heads with them.

(OOC: Cyberdelius I'm moving ahead in this post but go ahead and make a conversation if you want :) )

----

When Flick finally got into the venue he noticed a girl all in green by herself at a table, seeing no one else around he grabbed a drink and went to the girls table.

"Do you mind if I sit here?" Flick asked her with a polite smile.

Lyra Scarlet

Lyra did as she was supposed to do. She was standing in front of the venue to make sure no one got in that wasn’t supposed to… and to throw people out that were no longer wanted. Such was the life of the head of the Disciplinary Committee leader. It wasn’t glamorous, but it could be fun. All she had to do was wait until someone crossed a line and got thrown out. Then they were all hers… she wouldn’t hurt them… too much. Troublemakers did have to be taught a lesson though. Who better than to make sure they learned it than someone who honestly didn’t mind teaching them?

Everyone walked passed her, but none of them spoke to her. This was completely normal for her. Some people would look up at her and quickly look down or anywhere else that wasn’t her. Lyra would smirk just about every time this happened. However, at one point, she was spoken to. A boy actually spoke to her… it was Flick. She didn’t like Flick. He never directly caused problems, but he liked to complain about how her committee ran things. However, he was being civil… the least he could get was a civil reply in return.

“Nice to see you, Miss Lyra Scarlet, you are looking amazing as always.” It was a nice thing for him to say, but all Lyra could manage to say was, “I know. Should I be expecting any trouble out of you this year?” She raised an eyebrow at him.

Alyss Mithrandir

OOC: I don’t mind. All of this damn homework that I have to do is crippling my ability to post. So that’s actually rather helpful.

Alyss didn’t understand that asking someone to escort her to a dance could be considered a date. There were quite a lot of things that she didn’t understand. She simply didn’t want to go alone out of fear of being attacked. At this point, she literally had no clue that she essentially asked someone out. Delijah had walked her to the girl’s dorm and had left Alyss in the living room. While she was away, Alyss sat on the couch, picked up one of the pillows, buried her face in it, and screamed. What a horrible first day! I have made myself useless, I could not and cannot fight… and I am fairly certain Stella must think I am a complete moron…

When Delijah came back, Alyss barely recognized her. She wore a rather nice black dress and her hair was done up very nicely. How had she managed to do that in such a short time? “You look very nice.” Delijah then asked if she wanted to leave and Alyss nodded her head. However, she knew a faster way to get there. “Do you mind if I use your door over there,” she pointed at her bedroom door. “We can get into the hall from there.” Alyss smiled. She was going to have her door open up into the great hall door by linking her bedroom door and the janitorial staff room door together. “I… know that may sound weird, but trust me.”

She really wanted to show at least one person that she wasn’t a complete waste of time.

Eile Mires

The green haired girl looked to see a guy talking to her. She smiled replying, "Sure, if you don't mind siting on the floor in front of the drinking table." Taking a sip of her drink, Eile looked at the man. He wasn't that bad looking and he definitely don't have the aura of authority on him. Still, she kept her mouth shut in case she was proven otherwise.
After all, she was a new person to the academy, so it might pay for her to figure out who's who in the structure before doing anything rash.

---Jack Miezer----

After looking around the area for a bit, the cyborg teacher started walking around. Most of his time, his gaze was on a few people. After confirming that everything is going smoothly and no fights were breaking out, the cyborg walked out to the entrance where he saw the discom head. Lyra Scarlet if he remembered correctly. He walked up beside her while looking at the other students coming into the area for the dinner.

"Nothing wrong out here right Miss Scarlet?" Jack asked looking at the one eyed lady.

OOC: Short post cuz I'm typing on the screen with the vita. XD Also, I think Jack would know the discom and stuco people right? Since he is a teacher?

OOC 2: Vita hates line breaks. So I'll clean it up after work.

OOC 3: Added a bit more and cleaned it all up.

Flick Rommas

Flick Smiled at the girl and sat down on the floor in front of the table.
"Well thank you very much, the name is Flick Rommas.
And what is your name?" Flick said
He looked at the girl and couldn't help but smile at her. It wasn't just the fact that she was pretty, there were a bunch of pretty girls around tonight. There was something else about her that Flick couldn't put together about her.

(OOC sorry for the short post, but gotta get going and just wanted to get things going before I left, and @Levont Fon Lavin if you post again before I get back, go ahead and God Mode Flick a little and with the conversation if you want.)

((Shit, this roleplay is moving fast! I’ll time skip so I can keep up to current events- nobody needs to know how Lukas walked)

+With a rueful sigh, Lukas caught that stabbing glare with ease. But, no fear entered his soul. Instead, the hint of annoyance seeped through. He’d probably have to deal with this lady for the next term, or so, and that was just an estimate. That being said, he certainly would prefer to improve the relationship. He could definitely decrease the stress and general awkwardness. Without even turning to watch her leave, Lukas waited till the area was cleared before releasing his mistakenly- charged spell. It was a lightning bolt, deep red in colour and bloodlust in its nature. Lukas released a muffled grunt of pain as the magic emptied from his fingertips. He’d charged it for longer than nature intended, and numbness in his hand was what greeted him- along with a couple of smoking burns across his palm. To say he was uncomfortable was an understatement. +

“…Shit…”

+Lukas muttered, silently, to himself. What a damn waste of his magic. Still, he probably would’ve missed with it anyway but… a desire to prove him seemed to have overwhelmed his mind. Lukas waited for some sort of divine intervention-to perhaps heal his hand…Nobody came. He then began his stride again, heading out of the forest… He’d better get ready for this formal…thing. +

***

+Twenty to thirty minutes later, and Lukas was already on his way to the formal dance. Apparently, it was the job of the DisCom to work as bouncers for the event- something Lukas wasn’t exactly looking forward to. That’d mean speaking to people, and that’d mean he’d have to be nice… Something he hated to have to fake. Also, the formal occasion generally implied the clothing of formal attire- so Lukas had to change into a “monkey suit”. +

+His suit wasn’t as bad as one would think: black slacks and jacket, white shirt and a simple black tie. Of course, he’d thrown his own spin on things- the neck left fairly open, the tie loose and his black undershirt showing. Footwear wise, they seemed to be some sort of trainer, but leather… HI tops. He’d only worn these due to lack of a repertoire of choices. And, he could actually fucking move with them. He’d already reached the venue, and the dread of actually doing this was- although Lukas would never admit it- bottling up… It didn’t help that Lyra- the committee’s head- was there… Such was his luck, indeed. +

“… mhmm…”

+Lukas seemed to have thought a minute too soon; the head was busy with some civil chat… If that were possible from her. He silently walked to the opposite side, taking up his working spot without any complaint. Of course, Lukas fixed his shirt- to look more formal- but left the tie loose, for comfort… Maybe it might distract people from his hand in its currently bandaged form. +

“…Time for work…”

OOC: Meteora BTW. In case you didn't realize, since you didn't write anything about that, my character introduced herself to you in the previous post after the Shade kill before she left. And I hope you don't mind my character interacting with yours.

Ophelia was, for the most part, not doing her job. When she first entered the hall, she had completely forgotten about her role. Standing at a quiet corner with a glass in one hand, and the other tucked under the elbow for support, she was busy watching the myriad of faces. How many were genuinely happy, and how many forcing smiles on those beautiful faces? An interesting detail but one irrelevant to her present task. She finished her drink, leaving it on a table before moving back to the entrance to help Lyra with managing the people entering the halls.

As she walked, she began to hesitate. Should she really approach the Head? Lyra hadn't gave her an order yet, so there isn't much of a reason to approach her. Well, aside from an idealistic sense of responsibility. That is something desirable in ordinary situations, but here, Lyra makes a different case. Ophelia stopped in her tracks, melding back into the crowd before the one-eyed leader could notice her. Moving in an opposite direction, she accidentally bumped into a person. As she stood back to apologize, she realized it was the new DisCom member from earlier. The only guy. The-one-whose-name-she-never-asked.

"Hello. Sorry for bumping into you,"
said Ophelia, abashedly. "And sorry, I didn't quite catch your name earlier.."

Lyra Scarlet
She looked up at the cyborg… thing. If she remembered correctly, he… it was a teacher. It’s not like she had a problem with cyborgs or any other strange being on campus (if she recalled correctly, there was even an Elf somewhere on campus), she just wasn’t expecting a cyborg. “Nothing wrong out here, right, Miss Scarlet?” Lyra scoffed at the question. “It would take a fool to try anything questionable tonight. Don’t worry about anything; no one is getting through this door that shouldn’t be.” Shortly after he came by, Lyra noticed someone else joining her on the other side of the door. With a somewhat sickening grin, she noticed it was Lucas; her missing in action Committee member.

“Very nice of you to decide to show up,” Lyra shot at him coldly. “Don’t think for a second this gets you on my good side.” Shortly after, Ophelia showed up and started speaking to him. Lyra said nothing. She was the only Committee member she seemed impressed with so far. She had done nothing short of praise, and her combat skills were something other students should have admired. As far as Lyra was concerned, Ophelia was okay in her book. As they started speaking, Lyra simply stood there eying everyone that walked in. As she said; no one that wasn’t supposed to be there was getting in. And if they did… they would regret it; very slowly they would regret it. Another sickening grin crept up her face.

((Oh, I didn’t even notice your character- I rushed to try and reply. XD Sorry about that.))

“… I thought so too, since I missed out earlier…

+Lukas reply was sardonic and somewhat rebellious in tone, his dis-respective nature highlighted with the notable lack of any sort of apologetic look towards Lyra. He wasn’t even phased by her attitude in the slightest- it was just like any other school or gang: the leader can act however they very well like and treat their subordinates in any which way they choose. Nevertheless, the very depth of his soul was burning. Lukas wanted to prove himself to her, to show his usefulness. His attitude covered this well- but the desire was white-hot, with a heavy pressure about it. +

+But- as this covered his brain in a mist of thought- someone bumbled into him. It woke him from his slightest of dazes, and to his surprise, a conversation was sparked. It seemed this was Ophelia, another member of the DisCom. As his brain took a quick index search, Lukas realised something: he’d blown off this girl earlier, in the forest. Ignorance had struck him, just as his spell annihilated that tree. Lukas knew he’d better reply with some sort of friendly manner- social cues and whatnot.+

"Hello. Sorry for bumping into you,"

.
"And sorry, I didn't quite catch your name earlier.."

“Oh, it’s fine. It was Just an accident, right??”

+Lukas replied with a playful and normal tone, his face labelled with a faux-friendly smile. It would seem that this had the makings of a decent conversation- if he played it right- and as such, perhaps he wouldn’t come off so ignorant? Lukas then continued his reply with a slight shuffle of his feet, since his damned feet seemed to go numb. Of course, this led into him scratching his bandaged hand unintentionally. Lukas hoped to whatever deity that nothing would come of it. +

“Oh, yeah… I apologise about that. I wasn’t in the right mood, so instead of being an ass, I tend to give people the cold shoulder…”

Elaine Chevalier

But seriously, for us, I'd say so. You don't have to actually partake in it, but rather, help make sure it runs smoothly. I mean, if it isn't mandatory, I cant seem to see Lyra from the DisCo going. Its not personal, but she'd probably see it as a waste of her time.

Elaine sighed, placing her hand on her hip as she shook her head. "I know I know." Looking back at Zee, she gave her a smile. "Well, it makes no sense putting a dress to waste, no matter how revealing it is. I'll try it on." With that, Elaine went back to her bedroom, where she wasted no time in moving to go and take a shower. After about ten minutes showering and freshening up, Elaine emerged from her room wearing a ruby red robe around her body. "So Zee, how exactly do you put on such a "complex and overly-priced-for-so-little-material" dress I wonder?" Elaine waited to see exactly how Zee would look in her much more formal and modest looking dress.

Jack Miezer

“It would take a fool to try anything questionable tonight. Don’t worry about anything; no one is getting through this door that shouldn’t be.”

"Then we all are fools. But considering what happened earlier today, I doubt anyone will do anything tonight. The true question will be who will stay after the events of today. In any case, just keep an eye out for a blonde haired girl named Hanzel. I would like to speak with her for a few minutes." Jack muttered as he saw a male come up from behind them. Guessing from Lyra's tone, Jack guessed that the male standing in front of Lyra is Lukas. The only male in the Discom and the guy was taking some serious heat from Lyra.

“… I thought so too, since I missed out earlier…

Jack decided to take the heat off of Lucas and make things a little easier for him.

"Don't worry Miss Scarlet. He was getting the remaining students off of that scrap pile of a ship under my orders." Jack lied.

Soon after he said that, another female came up to Lyra. He didn't put a name to the female's face right away as he watched Lucas talk to her.

"Hmm. Who are you?" Jack muttered looking at the lady who came up to the growing group.

---Eile Mires---

"Well thank you very much, the name is Flick Rommas. And what is your name?"

Eile nodded as the man gave his name and asked hers. She guess it would be polite enough to at least give her name. It's not like she's trying to impress anyone. After all, she is only here to learn how to fight properly with what she is given.

"I'm Eile Mires. Not like it matters to anyone else in this room. To the teachers, I'm just another name and a face to remember." Eile muttered as she took another sip from her drink.

“Oh, it’s fine. It was Just an accident, right?"

Ophelia shrugged,"Yep, just an accident."

Oh, yeah… I apologise about that. I wasn’t in the right mood, so instead of being an ass, I tend to give people the cold shoulder…”

She gave an emphatic nod, knowing full well she was sometimes guilty of that. Or rather, wanting to be like that. Most times she would simply turn all business-like instead of giving a cold shoulder - but the idea was there. Ophelia smiled politely, mirroring his as he spoke. Looking him up again, Ophelia confirmed that he didn't seem like the fighting type - though he clearly must be, somehow. Being in the DisCom was the biggest proof of that; no one makes the DisCom without some level of skill. Aside from the "4-star rank" that one must attain, they must also prove themselves to be capable in combat as well. Truly, here, the ancient maxim "never judge a book by its cover" resonates well.

However, her attention was drawn to his bandaged hand when he began scratching it. That, and the fact he still hasn't told her his name. She was about to ask when another voice interrupted her.

"Hmm. Who are you?"

She hadn't paid him attention when she came up to the entrance. Must have missed him in the crowd, as silly as that sounded. He, or rather, it, was a robot of some kind... A cyborg perhaps. Tall, and very, very familiar. Her mind was racing, trying to put a name to this person until she finally came upon one: Jack, the mechanical slave driver. She had never been under his tutelage, but rumors of his merciless teaching style was rife among the students. Interestingly enough, some students caught on grounds of truancy actually cited him as the reason for their behavior. Ophelia almost smiled at the thought, realizing this person was like a male version of Lyra in some ways.

"My apologies, Mr Jack, I am Ophelia Gertrude Rose, another member of the DisCom under Lyra."

Markov Serinclex

He was rather annoyed at just how quickly the large shade went down. Something like that should've been able to withstand more than just a few people and dogs beating on it.

"Damned things are only good in numbers apparently."

Blasted thing hadn't even gotten off an attack it seemed. Scowling, he dismissed his hounds as he went up the steps to the Academy. Glancing back, he could see the first-years running out of the forest path accompanied by teachers, DisCom and StuCo members.

"At least they're safe," he muttered. "No doubt because I killed off the ones who were adventurous to go in there to begin with."

Before he could do much else, Krell made his announcement. Formal attire? The closest he approached to formal was not having his weapon or a hellhound entourage. With an arrogant snort he made his way to the Dominus dorms and to his room. No more thanten minutes had passed when he heard the first knock on his door. He ignored the first one. And the second. And even the third. It was the persistent fourth knock that nearly ripped the door off it's hinges. His face was contorted into one of sadistic glee intermingled with rage; oh, he was going to have so much fun with these first years. As expected, it was a first year student, probably no older than fifteen with a look of shock on his face than vanished quickly as he spun around and ran. The door slammed and he could hear the giggling from older students. In a way he enjoyed the first day, scaring the life out of the students. It was even better now that they had come out of the battle with bravado; they had that much more to fall.

Formal wear though. Anyone who listened to Krell knew that there was a hidden expectation to appear at the homecoming ball. He left the Eidolon blade on the table by the door and unbuckled the belt that held its scabbard before tossing it to join its blade. Shrugging off his long coat, he started undressing. Even if he didn't have formal attire in the normal sense, he wasn't going to appear in filthy shadeflesh splattered clothes. Dropping them on his way the the bathroom, he took a long hot shower which thankfully was uninterrupted by the idiot students.

Coming out of it, kicked the clothes from the day to the side, half resolving to deal with them after the ball. Yanking the appropriate clothes out of his closet, he grabbed the clean and less ragged long coat from its rack by the door and pulled on the cleaner boots - the ones not currently covered in dirt and shadeflesh. He was tempted to bring the Eidolon Blade with him given the surprise attack today but decided against it - they wouldn't be split up if an attack happened and he was more than capable of defending himself without it.

Going down to the feast hall, he ignored the people around him, dodging around them before slipping in through a side entrance and taking his customary spot against the wall in the corner. He had staked it out last semester; it was dark enough that it was hard to see him but he could see most everything else in the room. This sort of thing wasn't really his deal but it was better to show up than not to; who knows what could be said that would be important later on.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Talixion Rithe

He still hadn't seen Amelia yet but in the huge rush to get to the academy amidst the confusion, but it was to be expected. Unfortunately he couldn't even go and check the female dorms and see if she was alright - it simply wouldn't do to have a male teacher wandering around those halls. He tried his best to keep his mind off things with getting ready for the Homecoming Ball.

No doubt as a new teacher he would be required to make a appearance. Maybe not an introductory speech or anything like that but if things were anything like at the Tower then there would probably be an introduction by the headmaster, in this case, followed by a round of required applause.

Rith sighed. They did the same thing when he became a Master Storm Mage. HE would probably end up wearing that uniform to the Ball. It wasn't much different from his normal uniform - there was a matching cloak and chain and a bit more gold on it then usual as accent pieces.

As he started unpacking his luggage in his room, he was glad that he hadn't had to resort to close range in the battle earlier - at least his hands were clean. Hanging it up on the lip of his closet, he went on in and took a shower. Thankfully, his request for a larger shower to accommodate his...physiology had been approved.

Getting dressed in his dress uniform, he made his way down to the Feast Hall. He nodded at Lyra as he walked past her. He didn't know who exactly she was but he did recognize her as the girl who has sent up those pillars of flame earlier. He expected he would see her in his class.

Flick Rommas

"I'm Eile Mires. Not like it matters to anyone else in this room. To the teachers, I'm just another name and a face to remember."
Eile said in a very muttered voice

Flick just shook his head. "Don't think like that, everyone is new at least once in there life. All the teachers and students around here know this, and well if you ever are struggling with anything, don't be afraid to ask for help from a teacher, or from a student like me, we all support eachother." Flick said with a smile, trying to get her to cheer up.

Jack Miezer

"My apologies, Mr Jack, I am Ophelia Gertrude Rose, another member of the DisCom under Lyra."

Jack gave a disapproval tsk at her introduction.

"Miss Rose, unless Miss Scarlet is a childhood friend, you will address her as 'Miss Scarlet'. I will understand if she has given you expressed permission to do so, but keep in mind that you will at least give those who are higher or lower in position proper greetings. So, unless I give expressed permission, it will be either Mister Miezer or Professor. Nothing more, nothing less. Are we clear?" Jack muttered looking all the serious as if he was talking about a critical mission.

Regardless of Ophelia's response, Jack will give a small smile.

"But, since it is the first day back, I will let it slide. I heard out on the battlefield that there is a Dominus student that is quickly making a name for herself. I think the description more people stated is Green. Why don't you at least be polite to this green lady and say hello Miss Rose. Let her at least feel welcomed into the school." Jack muttered as he looked around the Dining Hall before frowning again.

"Where is the Student Council at a time like this? They organized this event. What's taking them so long? Miss Scarlet, go see what's taking the Student Council so long to get here." Jack muttered.

---Eile Mires---

"Don't think like that, everyone is new at least once in there life. All the teachers and students around here know this, and well if you ever are struggling with anything, don't be afraid to ask for help from a teacher, or from a student like me, we all support each other."

Eile nodded as she finished off her drink. She was starting to get rather hungry now as she eyed the banquet.

"Say Flick
, how about we grab some food? I'm starving after the fight earlier today. The super big shade in the forest didn't help anything in terms of hunger anyways." Eile asked before heading over to the buffet line.

She looked around the line until she saw her favorite food. Shrimp Fried Rice. Smiling, one plate grab and a couple scoops of the said food later and Eile is ready to eat.

OOC: Skipping Escaflowne till Oli replies. Also, i hope the doorway wont close if Delijah bounds straight through it. Also skipping huge chunks that i missed before for Hanzel

Delijah Fei

“You look very nice.”

Ehehehe. Thank you. I rather like this dress. Simple and still very free. I can still kick people in the head with this on.

Delijah was just half a second from giving Alyss an example of a kick when she remembered that she was in skirt. Even amongst girls, flashing one's panties, particularly to someone that is newly acquainted, was taking it too far. It was becoming somewhat late now and it would probably be a good time to start heading towards the Hall for the party. After all, Delijah would have to keep an eye out for troublemakers and Alyss was a StuCo and her presence was most likely mandatory

“Do you mind if I use your door over there,

Eh? My bedroom door? Sure, i guess. Knock yourself out.

Again, Delijah was befuddled for the second time. She was interested with what she was going to do with a door frame.

We can get into the hall from there. I… know that may sound weird, but trust me.”

No problem. go ahead.

All her logical mind told her to laugh. It seemed impossible to get to the Great Hall via her bedroom door, but Alyss did say to trust her and Delijah saw no reason not to. A few seconds later, her room disappeared at the view of the Great Hall appeared. It was from the side, as she can view the perfect formation of tables. Delijah put one and one together and guessed that Alyss can open portals, probably between frames or doors. Why else would she need to borrow her bedroom door? Like a child, Delijahs shoved her hand back and forth through the portal

Wow.... thats so cool. You're amazing Ms Mithrandr. Must be awfully convenient for class. With this, i can stay in bed till the last minute!

Of course, like a child, she was a bit too enthusiastic, and as expected, she tumbled head first through the portal and landed face first on the floor of the Great Hall. Both hands shot to her forehead where it connected with the ground and begun rubbing furiously.

Aiyaaa! That.... hurts.....

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hanzel Adolfine Von Marseille
Beep, beep, beep
The alarm went off next to lump under the bed sheets. The noise continued its rhythmic tune until a small hand wriggled its way free of the thick blanket and stopped the alarm clock. All was quiet once more and within another few seconds, the lump slumped once more into sleep when....
Beep, beep, beep
...another alarm went off. This time, it was much further away from the bed. The hand shot out once more and waved wildly until it found what it was looking. The fingers gripped around the object before it was levelled quickly and....
Bang!
The Misriah went off and with perfect precision, shot the clock to bits. From within the cocoon of sheets, Hanzel's sleepy, blonde head emerged. Her wavy hair was all over the place as was her glasses. It was about time she woke anyway. Hanzel had no bag. Everything she had was stored inside the Armoury, from rockets to underwear. It was what Flugel suggested in order to cut down on what she had to carry. So far, it hasn't quite worked out. However, Sieghild had assured her everything has been fixed and she was still restricted.
Flugel, Class A.
Wordlessly, the AI warped Hanzel's class A uniform to her, still in its cleaner bag. While she would have just strolled out in her khaki underwear and sports bra, her parents, friends and colleagues all assured her that school was different from the Compound and she must adopt a more normal and modest approach. Tossing on a pair of track suit pants, Hanzel walked out into the lounge and into the bathroom for a shower. On her way, she spotted her room mate, Maeinardi Reves. With a sleepy hello wave, Hanzel zombie shuffled into the toilet. The hot shower was the pick up she needed and within 20 minutes, Hanzelw as fresh and all ready to go. A final check up over her formal wear (replace armband with arma armband) for creases came up all green and she was out. Her military background and culture had her subconsiously prefer to, at all formal situations, wear her class A dress uniform. Unless stated, it was what she usually wore. It was a white suit shirt underneath, with a black tie, white military blazer with a silver belt, her Iron Cross, black puffed pants and high leather boots. Hanzel flipped her hat onto her head and went to retrieve Lowenzahn and Misriah. She would go nowhere unarmed if she could help it.
I shall head down first, Ms Reves.
Waving good bye to Maernardi and marched towards the Great Hall. There were quite a few people here already, including several teachers and teh DisCo. Hanzel wondered should she have come later, but she was thirsty. Since she was here, might as well go in. Hanzel strolled forward, Lowenzahn strapped to her back and gave the teacher and the few DisCo members a nod of the head for acknowledgement. It didnt hurt to greet someone if you can. She was going to be seeing them at school so it didnt hurt to play nice.
Flick Rommas
"Say Flick, how about we grab some food? I'm starving after the fight earlier today. The super big shade in the forest didn't help anything in terms of hunger anyways." Elie said.
"Sure I can eat a little myself"
Flick said as they both headed for the Buffet table.
Flick looked at all the different kinds of food, before he saw Elie grab some Shrimp Fried Rice. Flick just grabbed a couple slices of bread and some Soup and headed back to the table with Elie. Flick dunked the bread in the soup and started to eat it.
"So Elie what house are you apart of anyways?" Flick asked her as he took another bite of his bread.
OOC: Lyra’s post is going to be a bit short, as nothing really has happened and she’s still keeping watch. Also, sorry about not posting yesterday. Mondays and Wednesdays are hard for me to post on.
Lyra Scarlet
A few other people had showed up. However, she was more focused on the fact that Jack had shown up and stayed there for an extended period of time. He spoke some more, but Lyra was only half listening. She paid a bit more attention when he said that one of her members was under his order, but she didn’t pay that much attention. Regardless of the terms, he was still in trouble. It was when he started chewing out Ophelia… that’s when she had a problem. She could understand that he was a teacher, but chewing out students because they didn’t use a title was rather annoying. Lyra cared very little for titles. However, she still said nothing.
But silence became a bit hard to maintain when he started telling her what to do. He was a teacher, by all means she knew she should listen to him. However, his concerns were misplaced. “The Student Council will be fine. Before big events such as this one they like to get together and get dressed up. It takes time. Apparently for human females it can take lots of time. I don’t see a reason to worry at the moment. Also, I would appreciate it if you didn’t make such a fuss about titles. I’ve never been one to care. Ophelia can call me by my name.”
Lyra did nothing more than continue to keep watch and nod at students as they passed by.
Alyss Mithrandir
Alyss was simply happy that someone was able to see the merits of her abilities. The portals were useful, as Delijah had said. In fact, there were many times she used them do to just what she had implied; stay in bed until the last minute and then get to class from a closet door. “It really is, I am able to do so much with this.” However, she didn’t bother to explain that using a portal for the first time could cause one to trip or feel nauseous. So when Delijah fell, she wasn’t surprised, but she instantly wished she had said something.
She closed the door first to ensure that the portal would stay closed. It wouldn’t be back until Alyss herself wanted it to be back. From there, she extended her arm to help Delijah up. “I-I am really sorry, I should have told you to be careful. Portals can cause that to happen if you are not used to them…”
Jack Miezer
“The Student Council will be fine. Before big events such as this one they like to get together and get dressed up. It takes time. Apparently for human females it can take lots of time. I don’t see a reason to worry at the moment. Also, I would appreciate it if you didn’t make such a fuss about titles. I’ve never been one to care. Ophelia can call me by my name.”
Jack ignored the last portion of Lyra's comment as he looked around the area again. Nothing major was happening and everything that was happening was kept in line. That pleased Jack a bit as we decided to walk around a little bit. He saw a green haired lady in a green dress, but ignored her for the time being. His eyes soon fell on a certain lady. Hanzel. He must have missed her in the crowd. Walking up to the lady, Jack noticed that she didn't have her machine armor on, confirming that she is not a cyborg.
"Enjoying the party Miss Marseille?" Jack muttered.
---Eile Mires---
"So Elie what house are you apart of anyways?"
"House? I'm not sure. I just got here and all that and had to fight my way here. So I don't know what house I'm in." Eile replied honestly.
Her plan was to find the first dorm she found, Then from there, she would find out what house she was from and work from there. She'll find out later in the night.
"So what about you? You asked me about the house, you must know yours then right?" Eile asked.
What was she doing? Even Ophelia herself could not say for sure; by the time she said it, it was far too late. The Professor was immediately on to her with a disapproving hiss and a brief lecture about etiquette. In her mind, she was wondering if she should even care to pay attention. While she had to admit she made a mistake in addressing Lyra too casually, she did not like the way the Professor was putting it across. Still, formalities took precedence as she smiled politely at the Professor.
"But, since it is the first day back, I will let it slide."
Of course he will. Why go to the trouble of punishing her for something this trivial? Still smiling, Ophelia nodded as he continued. By then, she had stopped paying any attention to the Professor. Although her eyes remained politely trained in his general direction, she was not actually looking at him - or anything for that matter. She let her mind wander, thinking about other things, like the ball itself, and the nice sleep she would have when the event concluded.
She tuned back in just when he finished speaking to her. Almost immediately, he was distracted by other affairs that meant little to Ophelia.
"Where is the Student Council at a time like this? They organized this event. What's taking them so long? Miss Scarlet, go see what's taking the Student Council so long to get here."
The Student Council.. They were technically their superiors in the school hierarchy. Yet despite being so, Ophelia couldn't say she cared much about what the StuCo did. Well, unless what they did was to pass down an order. That, perhaps, is the only exception. Aside from that, she had no reason to bother. She preferred it that way, straight-forward and to the point.
“The Student Council will be fine.."
Lyra began responding to the Professor, and Ophelia decided to look back at Lukas.
"So, you still ha--"
"Ophelia can call me by my name.”
Lyra's words caught her off guard. She had fully been expecting her to agree with the Professor so hearing that from the DisCom head herself nothing short of shocking. Realizing she was still in mid conversation with Lukas, she faked a cough, pretending to clear her throat.
"So, you still haven't told me your name."
