Eureka Academy

Relax bolt, it was my fault :wacky:

Although yes I was away for a short time, but I have been back for quite some time, so I take all the fault in strike 2. Thanks for defending me and all but regardless I had no excuse.

And I wouldn't have called them problems, It was more like my sisters problems :hmmm: I wanted to be there for her, but now it turns out the surgery can't be done for another 4 months :gasp: They say she'll be fine though.

I've been busy the last week or so, partner was over for a week so we spent the time together for once and I've been all over the place the last few days.

Plus I may be moving pretty soon so... just a heads up.

I'll see if I can get something up tomorrow. Forcing myself to write a character up for Ringo tonight, it's going to drain me til after sleep <_>

Really too bad gotta wait four months, but good to hear she'll be fine.

And don't sweat it, I would have probably been a little more relaxed about it if not for some parts of the first half of that post of my, that has me paranoid now, but I can't change my mood here while on the Nintendo Wii. >.>

Hey, is Vikki busy with IRL? If so, then ill wait, but just a reminder for her to post.

As for my other characters, ive left Escaflowne in the dojo so i can leave her, but is Diar also tied up? Also, Krauvando, post when you can plz.

As someone that frequents lolcats daily, I can tell you I'm not. Also, I believe that things are going to be a little slow as long as Oli is inactive for the time being. However, as soon as he gets settled, I'm sure things will pick back up.

Neg rep, really? Rep a couple people then reverse that, please? I'll +rep you now, even though this is backwards, unlike what some people seem to think, I am not a bad person, and I am not vengeful... :|

The hell is this? Has there been some arguing I'm not aware of? :gasp: Anyways I'm back ya'll and I got suprised with a computer so.........yay!

I was thinking of making Raistlin's Father a teacher at the school. However, I need to find out what classes everyone else is teaching so we don't have too many of the same classes. :hmmm:

So, if the people that currently have teachers in the school could tell me what they're teaching, so I can finish up the bio, that would be great.

Ah nuts. And i had the timetable down pretty good and evenly spread out for all the teachers.

As for what people teaches, its ahrd to get a lock on what they particularly specialises in because when i asked for the timetable, nobody gave me a straight answer. Check the timetable thread for a somewhat better idea.

Awesome, I never saw that thread. Thanks, Tipsy. Nice to know we have that lying around. Now that I've got some good ideas on what everyone is teaching, I'll write up a bio for Raistlin's Father.

Right. Ill try to reorganise the timetable after you post your profile. Unfortunately, youd have to wait till next week's timetable application. Wouldnt be fair for the other guys if i shove you in by taking some of theirs off.

That is if we get past today. I think after the missions are finished, we should call it a day.

No problem, Tipsy. After all, Cameron would have to get used to the school, and set his stuff up first.

About missions, it hasn't even been afternoon yet. Raistlin has a mission to go do. He got stuck with the only afternoon mission. :gasp:

Also, bio below. :griin:

Name: Cameron Majere

Age: 56

Title: Teacher – Study of Arcane History

Class: Archmage

Appearance:
1zdb1gw.jpg

Cameron sports a long white beard, with even longer white hair. Rather old in appearance due to his dabbling in the Arcane along with age. He wears traditional Mage robes, unlike his Son, Raistlin, who prefers more modernized garb.

His eyes are a very bright green, a feature which most people seem to notice because they stand out. Other notable features are his grin, which only those in combat with him ever see, and his smile, which no one ever sees.

Weapon: None whatsoever, as he uses his magic.

Personality: Cameron isn't the monster that his son makes him out to be. While he is somewhat cold, he, unlike his son, isn't devoid of sympathy. He's rather caring at times to those he grows attached to. Very rewarding of intelligence and common sense, he tends to overly treat students that have and use them rather well. At times, even taking them out to a good dinner.

In contrast to how he treats his more intelligence inclined students, he treats his son, Raistlin, rather coldly. He feels as if the Majere name has to live to a standard, and while Raistlin may be powerful, he is disappointed that he doesn't conform to the family standard. However, at times he feels regret due to the intense training that he put his Son though, and feels as if he had treated his Son better, Raistlin wouldn't loathe him, and they could have had a healthy Father/Son relationship.

In his spare time, Cameron loves to listen to classical music, and often plays it in class as students take there tests. He is also somewhat of a womanizer, and won't hesitate to appreciate the finer points of a good looking woman. Though, his standards of a good looking woman are rather... High and complex to the point where it's unnecessary.

Cameron is very prideful of his family, and even more so of his accomplishments as a Mage.

Abilities: Cameron is a master of the Arcane magics, and like his Son, has mastered Elemental magic. However, beyond that, Cameron has mastered many other types of magic being an Archmage. Using high Alteration Magic, he can change the forum of objects, and himself. Often, he will change himself into a black cat if he wants.

Using Conjuration, he can summon multiple beings to fight his battles for him. Such as Dragons, demons, and other assortments of monsters.

Using Illusion, he can make someone see, or hear things, that aren't really there. He can also render himself invisible, or someone else.

Mysticism is perhaps one of the more dangerous aspects of his magical talent. With this, he can teleport, much like his son, and rip open holes in spacetime, and even borrow magic from the universe itself. However, it is very taxing, and only to be used in emergency. Cameron can't figure out how his Son managed to master teleportation with it so effortlessly. The forces behind Mysticism magic are still unknown, and not to be tampered with. This could also be used to make portals for transportation. Yet one false move, and a person entering one, may never come out the other side.

Evocation allows Cameron to protect himself and others with shields. Much like force fields, these are very hard to break, and make for excellent protection.

Necromancy allows Cameron to bring the dead back, and fight under Cameron's control.

History: Cameron was one of the first Mages born in his family. Like every Male in the Majere family, if they couldn't use magic, they became a Warrior. Seeing as how Cameron was very powerful in the Arcane magic department, he rolled Mage.

That's what Cameron's childhood was: Nothing but training of Magic. From ages 6-21, Cameron did nothing but study, and he became a full-fledged Mage that was recognized by the Mage Council. From there, Cameron still studied, but this time, he did it abroad. Going far and wide, Cameron studied not only the practice and the theory, but also the history of Magic.

Magic became his master, and as he fell more and more in love with it, he decided not only to dedicate his life to its teachings, but he dedicated his future son's and daughters lives to it. Vowing to train them all in the ways of Magic.

At the age of 25, Cameron was still making breakthroughs in magic ability to the point where he was recognized as an Archmage by the Mage Council. The youngest Archmage in history.

At the age of 30, he would meet his wife. Luck would not be on their side as they attempted to have children. It wasn't until the age of 38 that Cameron and his wife would have a son by the name of Raistlin. However, Cameron's wife, and Raistlin's mother, would die 2 days after giving birth. Something that deep down, Cameron blamed Raistlin for.

Training his son in the ways of the Arcane, a fateful day would come as Cameron tried to teach his son Mysticism. The result was the near death of his son, yet a successful experiment. He had Raistlin take his soul from his own body and hold it within his hand. However, Cameron never realized that this process was taxing, for he never did it himself.

He watched as his Son's body cracked and his skin split open, in some places to the bone. The result leaving Raistlin scarred in places, and forever resenting his Father for making him do it. However, Cameron still trained and pushed his son. Noticing that his son was very interested in elemental magic, Cameron taught him that.

When his Son was well on the way of mastering Elemental Magic, he sent him off to school. Upon finding out that Raistlin was accepted to the Student Council, Cameron was proud. However, upon finding out he gave it up to become head of the Disciplinary Committee, Cameron was less than thrilled.

Finding that he needed to keep an eye on his reckless son, and the lack of things to do at his home, Cameron finds he needs a change of pace. Now Cameron comes to teach at the Academy, as a Professor of Arcane History.
