Eureka Academy

Great. Although he's like a copy of Krell with the whole summoning thing. Maybe those two know each other well! XD Accepted!

This thread is so huge I can barely tell if there are new replies. It should be renamed "Precious" :hmmm:

Excuse me Vikki. I am seriously waiting for the Lost Children request. Id appreciate it even if its a small post. If you are really busy, i can take control of Veerle (ill keep her true to her being a badass character) and finish off the request. I think the day is halted and waiting on the quests.

I would post, but I too am waiting on either her or Diar to post. :hmmm: Been that way for some time... So I am not putting it off, I am waiting for the opportunity to be able to make a new post (I am lacking some creativity right now though however, but that isn't what is stopping me).

Must....Not....Resort....To.....Time.....Skip... -__-

By the way this Rp goes and the length of the days and lack of posting, a time skip is almost required.

Time skip? Would that skip Raistlin's mission? :hmmm: It isn't my fault that missions aren't finished and Afternoon hasn't come yet. :gonk:

That being said, Raistlin's eating an epic fucking sammich right now. :ryan:

Huh. It seems like every 4 pages is a minute to an hour in that world, not counting the time skips.

Wow... GRAH THIS IS TAKING FOREVER!

Also, I can't wait to see the results of the Ringo's plan.

I know the results of his plan :hmmm: and alot more that I wanted to accomplish. I wanted so much character building do happen in this day but some people are just that busy so...:hmmm: It was so close too XD We're like an inch from ending part one so that EA can have a good break

Yeah i'm waiting to post until something happens that doesnt require my character to either skip time or get into a dick waving contest with the rest of you lot again...

Kinda hard without the actual anatomy...

I can have a post up with Raistlin and Cameron soon. However, because nothing has really changed since the last time, it'll probably be nothing but a little character development, and possibly some training.

Until the Afternoon mission, that's about all I can do. :mokken:

Meh, I can't really talk down on anyone about it. Sometimes life just hits you in the face with a 2x4 and it takes a while to get back up. :wacky:

Though, in all seriousness, some people get sick, some people lost inspiration, and some people have school.

In all three of those situations, I'm not going to wake up in the morning and instantly think, "I'VE GOT TO MAKE A POST ON AN INTERWEBZ BOARD". Being sick, and having to go to school are much more important. A post on the internet is small fucking potatoes compared to real life issues.

The 50 would include the ending of the day and if posted correctly the end of the RP altogether.

So those who are actively posting in other RP's and scampering around the forums are being hit by real life as well? I call it skipping class :hmmm: I already know of those with RL situations and those who have left for school. Sickness doesn't last a month and if it does then you should be at a hospital, not the interwebz. Lost inspiration is understandable but a small post here and there, maybe a crappy post for at least once a month or three weeks would be fine.....Plus the tardy policy was clearly explained in the RP.

I love those who keep the RP going cause it's so close to finishing and I can just taste it. Since I joined this RP I've yet to see an Rp finish besides the Kingdom Hearts Rp by Kevin. I just don't want to give up on it. I try my hardest to not let Rp's die, and I'll be damnd if I let all the hard work and constant complaining, planning, and confusion that went into it.

I'm just trying to let it end so that FFF can have one more complete Rp to add to it's roster. Plus the faster we get this over with, the faster we can create bigger, better RP's in the Future ^_^. But anyway students I appreciate everything that has been done so far and all of our hard efforts to make EA work. It's come too far to just fall apart now...

And I'm finished. Inspiratonal speech = over ^_^

For some, writing up a RP post takes time. Looking around the forums takes no time at all, and posting in certain threads takes a very brief amount of time. You can't group everyone in the same category. I'm merely trying to say that there are some people who do have an excuse.

This

I know those with excuses and have already explained my cause. Some have already told me of excuses. So I already addressed that :ness:

crap post > no post

And me suggesting whats going on doesn't mean I'm grouping everyone in the same category. I already know what you're saying as I've already addressed it :/

But you've shrugged off people being sick with no issues, which was the point I was trying to get across. Also, I would personally go with quality of quantity. I would much rather have no post at all than "[insert name here] punched the monster".

While you can say that you've already addressed it, you seemed to have no problem whatsoever of going on calling it "skipping class", dismissing the fact that people have been sick, and grouping them into a category.

However, it would be somewhat helpful if you mentioned the people that were except because they explained the situation, because then maybe I wouldn't be arguing trying to defend a select few people when they very well may already be exempt. :wacky:

Then again, I do recall myself being punished for not having a post up, and having my situation flat out ignored. You see, like other people here are already aware, it's very hard to get a post up, when you're waiting for someone else to post. -__-

EDIT: On another note, yes, it sucks when RP's die. However, I can't say I've ever seen one finish. However, I can say that this one won't, it'll end properly. Even if some people can't, or won't post. I know you would like to believe that a crap post is better than no post, I can tell you that I know a few people (myself included) that simply don't enjoy writing shitty posts.

Because they're shitty, and more often than not, in bad taste. :gonk:

Then again, I'm only trying to defend one person here. :britt:

Huh. Mind if I add my two cents?

I'm pretty sure most of us (I don't, but then again, I'm a crap RPer, and I know it) need a bit of time to write a post. I've seen someone take a full week to write a reply. If it means I get quality posts that are worth my time, I believe it would be a good idea to give them that time.

Oli, you can't really say people are skipping class because they are sick. That's like telling people IRL your truant because your sick. Doesn't work. You piss off a lot of people, and that doesn't end well. Trust me, I know; a lot of people at my school have reasons to see a broken body belonging to me lying on the floor in agony.

However, I can see you wanting to actually finish an RP. You are correct in saying that only Kevin's RP has ever finished: I have not seen any other one that has actually ended due to being finished rather then lack of activity.

Also, Oli does make a point. If your sick for more then two weeks, get your ass to the hospital because something. is. wrong. If your scampering around the forums, and you notice a reply, read it. Go back and read your prior works that you have seen to inspire you. Just A. don't make a crap post. I agree with Ringo: quality > quantity. And B. Don't take a month, because if your taking more then 5 days, either you haven't been working, or you haven't been posting for a while and need to make a really long post to make up for it.

Now, don't think I am siding with Oli because I agree with him completely. I'm one of the people who have been expelled due to lack of inactivity, and I can see where he gets slightly POed when people who need to post don't. So, if you can post, do; if you can't, tell Oli why, and if it's because your lacking inspiration, don't expect that to cut it.

Sorry if I ticked anyone off; it's something of a knack of mine. Now then, since this is a SU/D thread for an awesome RP, let's end this here, at least in the thread, and those of you with complaints to anyone take it to PM.
