*Eureka Academy*

((OOC: Doesn’t look like Gavin’s going to post anytime soon. I’ll go ahead first then.))

Maya took a seat at the table opposite her. She places the bento box that Eluniel had been so curious about on the table, and removes the cloth covering it to reveal a box with three separate levels. Eluniel reacted with surprise on her face. Pulling the hood back behind her, she continues to watch intently as Maya separates the box level by level.

Each level contained a different type of food. The first seemed like what would be a main course to Eluniel. However, the presence of octopus in that section made Eluniel cringe. Even though she never tried the food before, something in her was already making her look away from that entire level completely.

The second and third level was so much better, but probably not as filling as the first. She didn’t mind sandwiches, but they were something that she ate a lot back in the orphanage. The various different foodstuffs between the two layers of bread didn’t appeal as much as it could have, nor did the potato salad. Desserts were nice, but…

Eluniel stared at the desserts a while longer. Glancing over to the first and second level, she decided that the third level would be her ideal choice. Still, it was a tough decision between the first and third. She looks back to Maya,” I’m okay with anything.

Thank you for offering these food.”

Kazuki finishes his food and went out of the cafeteria as soon as possible. The cafeteria was jam packed which also means that it is time for him to leave. He thought about dozing the time off again since he still has an hour till classes.

"That dream.."

Thinking about that "dream" gave him the creeps. He then decided to just do some training to sharpen his skills. But first, he needs to find a good training place.

"The courtyard? The gym?"

No, the courtyard and the gym are not good training spots for a freshman like him. He looked up in the sky and he saw the top of a near by building. As soon as he arrived at the rooftop, he removed his hat and his backpack and pulled out two shiny stones. He focused his energy on the two stones. The tattoos on his face glowed as he distributes his energy to the stones. Suddenly, two short swords appeared. The wind blew a light breeze. Kazuki slashed through the air. The wind became stronger each slash he make.

"KIDS! I have been trying to decode this riddle, but I can't find any hits at all, tell me what you can understand of it!" Their teacher Krego exclaimed as soon as Ravona and Sophie had entered the door.
Krego showed a rather cryptic text written on the board: 'May the sun god flaunt his moon and the goddess of night love her son.'
Krego: “What does that mean? And then there's.”
'How shall the dead die a life if the life is now there's to die within. May the creature that has numerous legs change the numbers of its walking and gaze into the nightly sun, resting its gentle eyes in the daytime moon.'
Ravona looked at the text for a bit. It certainly was a riddle of some sort. Riddles were not Ravona’s hobby. But it wasn’t like she was going to give up on a challenge either.

Sophia however already started explaining her thoughts: "While I am unsure on the first, shorter one, the other longer riddle sounds strangely befitting of Ferfnir in multiple ways, but I doubt there is any connection...

'May the creature that has numerous legs change the numbers of its walking and gaze into the nightly sun, resting its gentle eyes in the daytime moon.' sounds as 'nightly sun' may really be speaking of the moon, and 'daytime moon' may refer to the sun. The sun blazes brighter than one could bare to 'gaze' at, while the moon gives off a gentle light, some have even walked upon it, while no one could even come near the sun.

The creature with numerous legs that changes the numbers of which it walks on, and gazes at, in my understanding, the moon, sounds very Wolf-like. And my species; Ferfnir, are able to shift from this two legged shape, which has a more human-like appearance, that I am in now, to the shape of an ordinary, quadruped Wolf, walking on all four limbs...care for me to demonstrate this?"

Though Sophia was correct in her thoughts that her race could indeed change their shape and go from quadruped to bipedal but they were hardly the only creature that had such abilities. Especially considering the similarities Sophia race had with the much more known werewolves or even other lycanthropes. After a few more moments of thought Ravona decided that she would need to know some things before continuing working on a solution. First things first though.
“I think that’s ok Sophia. It is unlikely this is about Ferfnir in fact right now we can’t even be sure if it’s really about a creature. Creatures mentioned in riddles can often refer to objects, events or even words and letters as well as actual animals.

However if it does refer to a creature or animal of sorts, it could refer to any lycanthrope or any kind of shapechanger for that matter. I think the biggest problem with its relation to ferfnir is the use of the word numerous meaning a large number. Considering how many creatures have four legs opposed to other numbers I think it’s safe to say that four doesn’t qualify as numerous.” Ravona took a moment of pause to let the others catch up with her thoughts.
“I think this riddle would have more meaning if we had some sort of context to place it in. For examples if this text is part a civilization’s culture that had a sun god and moon goddess then we might find more clues in their religion.
There are a few interesting things in the riddle though. It first speaks about the son of the goddess of night which may be the creature referred to with the numerous legs. I don’t really see how daytime moon refers to the sun, since there exists an actual daytime moon, though it’s harder to see then the moon at night.
The notion of the nightly sun also seems odd especially because it uses the word nightly instead of night time. Nightly means it occurs every night which would suggest that the moon which we can’t see every new moon is not the subject here.
Continuing with the rest of the riddle: ‘How shall the dead die a life if the life is now there's to die within’. This sentence makes little sense to me, also its grammar seems a bit off. My biggest problem is that it doesn’t seem to have a definite relation to the rest of the riddle.”
Ravona stand up from her seat and uses an empty space on the board to write down the riddle as 3 separate sentences.
- 'May the sun god flaunt his moon and the goddess of night love her son.'
- 'How shall the dead die a life if the life is now there's to die within.’
- 'May the creature that has numerous legs change the numbers of its walking and gaze into the nightly sun, resting its gentle eyes in the daytime moon.'
Then she proceeds to draw a few lines from the words sun and moon from the first sentence to the third, using a different color, before continuing.
“It’s almost like it stands alone. And I think this second part is a question though how you wrote it no question mark is presented.”
Ravona took yet another color and added a question mark to the second sentence.
“Well that should be good to start off with, now about that context I asked about.”

OOC:
Puzzles are not really Ravona's thing. They are mine though.

Sophia

Ravona went on after Sophia finished her thoughts on it, and at one point getting right up and going over to the board and writing on it. It would seem she didn't agree with anything Sophia just said, and she carried on to the point it seemed almost humiliating to her, her patience wore thin.

She didn't stand right up, but leaned forward towards Ravona and Krego, and had a little word with them. "Come on you two! First I speak to Ravona, then she clearly ignored me, I get in here then you ignored me when I spoke...

Now after you startled me with your shouting 'KIDS!', you're throwing out some backwards riddle, I state my thoughts, then Ravona shuns it. It makes me look like I'm stupid, and you set me up for it. Please just stop it, alright?"
She slowly leaned back into her seat, then after she crossed her arms, and added "Both of you."

Looking somewhat impatient, she remained in this position, slightly irritated. She wasn't exactly having a good day, but she was managing to get through it, somehow, however unwelcoming things seemed around her. "I've never claimed to be knowledgeable about riddles, honestly I couldn't care less about them."

Ravona simply waited out Sophia’s complaints before addressing them. Though she was mostly indifferent about what other people thought about her Ravona didn’t like it when people made assumptions about her thoughts.
“Sophia, neither me nor Mr. Krego here said you were stupid. While we might be more intelligent than you are and express our intellect this is not because we are trying to offend you by making you feel inferior. In fact wouldn’t it offend you more if we acted like we were less intelligent then we actually are just because you are near? Is that kind of pity really something you wish for? Besides I’ve been around several people who were far smarter than me but never did I think of myself as stupid because I know that in turn I’m smarter than a lot of others. Isn’t it the same for you, even if you aren’t as smart as us two aren’t there plenty of people in this world who would look up to you?”
Ravona scratched the back of her head a little and continued in her rather monotone voice. “And if I ignored you I was probably distracted by something, which sometimes happens, however that is not some sort of person problem I have against you. Lastly I did say your answer was unlikely, for reasons I explained, however you stated in advance that while part of the riddle was befitting of the Ferfnir you doubted there was any connection so to some degree you already knew that rebuttal was to be expected. So I don’t think you’re really in a position for complaints there.

As for being bad at riddle’s I already said I wasn’t much of a riddle person myself however there’s two logical options to take. Either you try to become better at it or you don’t and seek help from someone who does.”
Ravona figured that should be plenty of material to give Sophia something to consider. Meanwhile Ravona started making more notes on the board. Not much she hadn’t already mentioned before though.

OOC: Note to RPers themselves; Sophia grew up around children, so despite her age, she can act a bit childish, at times...

Sophia

“Sophia, neither me nor Mr. Krego here said you were stupid. Isn’t it the same for you, even if you aren’t as smart as us two aren’t there plenty of people in this world who would look up to you?”

She had no comment after Ravona said this, aside from uncrossing her arms and letting out a quiet sigh, before Ravona, after scratching the back of her head for a moment, continued to speak more.

"......" Sophia remained completely silent, waiting for Mr. Krego to say something. She didn't even let out a noise, aggravated or otherwise, she wasn't really showing any emotion of any kind at this time, simply waited until the teacher would speak again.

Eureka Academy - Chapter One: The arrival

Several days have passed since he applied to the Eureka Academy and at long last his prayers were answered; Julien was now an official student of this prestigious campus. As the ferry arrived at the docks, Julien gazed all around him and couldn't avoid noticing the radical change of atmosphere. His surroundings were neatly organized; the gardens were well kept and the numerous buildings and streets of the Academy were all religiously cleaned and preserved by several employees. This was the second boat that brought new comers this week, so it was hard to move around the crowd.

With a slow pace, almost as if he were dragging his feet, Julien struggled his way to the main entrance were he hoped to find directions that could lead him to the dean's office. His first day on campus sure went fast, having signed all the documents and agreed on the terms and conditions of the Academy, the dean lead Julien to his room while explaining most of the courses the Academy has to offer to freshmen. Swordsmanship, Basic Spell Casting, Basic Battle Tactics, History of Past Wars, getting the books and materials for each course...etc, etc, etc....the curriculum and its requirements seemed overwhelming yet Julien knew it was only a matter of time in order to get used to it.

The dean bid farewell to Julien and left the new student to explore the new place he would call home (a small room somewhere in the second floor) during the rest of the year. One could hear the annoying squeak made by the bolts still keeping the door in its place as Julien opened it.

"Finally a place to rest. Small, neat and simple...I like it."

Julien pondered as he locked the door behind him and left his his luggage on a corner next to a small and old wooden table. The room was average in size, having only the necessary space for a small bed, an old wardrobe near the door, a small table next to the bed, and a window from which he could view one of the gardens of the campus.

Exhausted, Julien began to take off his black long sleeve turtle neck shirt and combat trousers and decided to wear only a grey tank top and blue short pants. He remained sitting on top of the bed as he glared at his sword which was resting against the opposite wall. It was around 5:35 pm and the sun was about to set on the horizon...

Raistlin walked outside of his dorm and started walking towards the DC room. The very first thing he was a kid skateboarding. He was blue sect, so obviously he didn't know. He decided that he would take it easy on the kid, and only light his skateboard on fire.

With a quick motion of his hand, the skateboard lit up, and the kid fell on the ground. “No skateboarding on campus.” Raistlin said coldly as he continued his walk. Making it to the DC room, he sat down, put on music as he waited for everyone to show up.

[Music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wozkj581nxs&feature=related]

He didn't mind at all to wait. In all reality, he just wanted to get out of the dorm for a bit. Besides, this was a great album. Running his fingers through he long white hair, he smiled as the music picked up.

OOC: Sorry if I've missed out interaction with someone/s but there was a lot for me to read back through to make this so ... D=

Veerle Shinja
Reprimanded and Surprise

Veerle said nothing as Arukab gave her the warning for her late arrival to the class. She has expected it of course and was grateful the teacher made it brief. How she hated long-winded speeches. As he finished, she nodded her head respectfully to him.

My apologies, Sir,” she said, her voice level as always, displaying no hint of emotion.

I got carried away with my training,” she gave her excuse, bowed again and left the classroom, weapon in hand.

Wandering the halls, she took a side route out into the sun. A short cut, some might say. For Veerle it was more a case of hoping to catch a glimpse of her brother. And sure enough, as she had expected, there he was, flying around on his dark wings, enjoying the freedom flight gave to him.

Oi, you,” she shouted up at him, smiling very softly, an expression barely visible upon her upturned face. “Go get lunch. You need the energy!”

Will do. You should drop by the Room. Let Raist know I'll drop by later!”

Saying no more, she moved back into the halls and stared at the students as they seemed to part before her like the Red Sea to Moses. Perhaps her reputation preceded her and they were shying away from her in fear. Or perhaps it was the distinct yellow she wore, marking her as a member of the Disciplinary Committee. It could just be the steely calm expression upon her face as she waded her way towards the cafeteria.

Hefting the halberd onto her shoulder as she strode over to the serving area, Veerle purchased a sandwich with a simple point at the thing, took it and walked serenely back out of the Cafeteria.

Walking at a measured pace, she nibbled at her food. Striding into the Disciplinary Room, she peered over her sandwich and almost dropped it in surprise. Regaining her composure, she shifted the halberd slightly on her shoulder and tilted her head curiously.

So... how did it go? Cath said he'd drop in later.”

Cathal Shinja
Energy Saving

Cathal felt as free as a – pardon the cliché – bird as he circled the Academy on his dark wings, soaking up the sun as he flew. He stopped to hover, peering down at the tilted face of his little sister as she called out to him.

Oi, you. Go get lunch. You need the energy!”

Will do. You should drop by the Room. Let Raist know I'll drop by later!”

Before he could say any more, the girl had moved on. Streamlining his wings, Cathal flew in a downwards sort of arc and into the halls. The students moved swiftly out of his way as the streaking yellow of his Disciplinary colour streaked past. Arriving in the Cafeteria, Cathal spread out his wings and shot forwards again... only to collide with a boy somewhat shorter than him.

Finding himself astride the boy, Cathal got to his feet with the aid of his wings and held his hand out to the smaller boy, in a gesture of helping him up.

Flying inside isn't always the best idea. Sorry about that.”

(The boy is Diar's character, Alan)

Amane Kutisaka
Meow

Mreow...” Amane purred softly and peered at the girl she had tripped over. “It's okay. I tend to be a little clumsy sometimes...” she laughed softly as she pawed at her ear. “Odd for a cat, though.”

Preening her tail curling it around her leg, she stuck out a hand to the girl. “I'm Amane.”

Glancing around, Amane spotted the wolf-like boy stood in the queue. Her ears pricked and her tail unfurled from her leg to bend into an almost question mark like position. Tilting her head, she gave him a small smile before flicking her attention back to the girl.

We should eat!” she said, making to grab the girl and drag her over towards the line... which would put her closer to the curious wolf.

(sorry it's so short :sad3:

(its good enough for me thank you so much)

yuki fought not to blush as her hand was taken by the feline girl who had introduced herself as amane. "Im yuki by the way" she said as she was dragged into the dinner queue. She picked up a tray before adding "Im going to be in mr kregos class when i eventually get round to it" she laughed then added "its not that im lazy i just got very lost and never managed to get there but thanks to my new friend cathal i know where to go now. "

"So what are you studying here?" she asked intrigued as she grabbed some noodle soup and sushi from the cafeteria area.

(another short post but at the end of the day noone is really talking to me or amane at the moment so it cant be helped)

Raistlin was daydreaming so hard he actually jumped when Veerle barged into the room. Turning down the music, he heard her speak. “So... How did it go? Cath said he'd drop in later.” Raistlin thought about it for a bit, “It went... Well. No one was hurt, I had fun, and that's about it. Other than that, all I've really done was set a skateboard on fire. So, what's up?”

Agatha was getting closer and closer to the academy and was starting to get oddly tired. Her head was spinning almost and she was getting somewhat lightheaded. She quickly realized that the outburst of energy must have made her more tired than she thought, and that she left with only eating alittle over a apple was probaply not nice.

She started to stumble more as she walked and against her better judgement she turned her view onto the rest of the group with a sickly look on her face, her voice being much more drawn and tired. It was clearly that the lack of energy from the morning and the massive use of power in one move hit her untrained body and mind hard.

"It was a pleasure too do this mission with you all and I truly hope that we will get the chance too do a mission together in the future, but I must excuse myself as I need to get back to the academy before.. before I faint."

She bowed down too show her gratitude towards them and started too run towards the academy as fast as her tired body would let her, but as she ran she started to think about herself. She had talked more too people than she is personally comfortable with. She smiled a little bit before she slammed open the doors to the academy.

"Uh.. eh.. Cafeteria!"

She ran towards the cafeteria and entered it noticing a boy that was around her height. Most guys she have seen here were taller than her by far so it was somewhat nice knowing that there were smaller people there. At the same time another person entered the cafeteria with big wings that spread out as he entered.

The mere force and the unexpected entrance of this man made Agatha feel a whole new feeling that she have never felt before. Pure shock and fright that merely lasted for a moment as she was knocked over.

Trying to stand up she realized how lightheaded she really was. She grabbed onto a chair and pushed herself up and flicked her hair back as it was in her face and tried to shake of this unsettling feeling.

-Blade's POV-

"Setting a kid's skateboard on fire? Your going soft, Raistlin." A voice commented. Blade entered the room right as Raistlin made that comment, and decided to join in. "Wasn't much of a mission, Veerle. The teacher, who replaced Orion, killed everything practically. We just stood by and watched really. I keep forgetting how scary the teachers here are..."

Blade walked over and stabbed his spear into the now-familiar hole in his chair that the janitors seemed to give up on fixing. Not like anyone else would sit in the chair anyways. Jumping up, Blade sat cross-legged, precariously perched, upon it. "So, how did your day go?"

Veerle Shinja
Respect

Veerle's eyes rolled as Blade entered. Grimacing at the cucumber that had somehow missed her attention on the next bite, she removed it from her sandwich and resisted the urge to flick it at his head. Flipping it into the bin, she finished off her food, ran a hand through her hair and growled lightly.

The Halberd in her right hand bounced off her shoulder, the material covering the blade falling away as she pointed it at Blade.

"How about you learn some respect, eh?" she said with a flinty coldness, her eyes showing her challenge more than her tone. If he made a move to counter, Veerle was ready, her legs taut as violin strings about to be plucked.

She let out a mocking little chuckle as the halberd span in her hand and hit the ground, blade to the ceiling. Flicking her hair dismissively over her shoulder, Veerle gave Blade an arrogant little smirk.

"Raistlin is our Leader. You would not be calling him soft should he turn upon you," her eyes were still narrowed as she used her foot to flip the cloth from the floor to her gloved hand. Wrapping it back around the blade, she tied it carefully, all the while, watching Blade for any show of retaliation.

"I was late to class. But hey, that's not entirely news, is it." Her eyebrow quirked as she looked back over at Raistlin. "At least you had fun."

(i'll post with Amane/Cathal once Crimson and Diar have had a chance to... aka most likely tomorrow)

“Thank you, Veerle. Let it be known that if I down right assaulted the kid for skateboarding that it would have been a waste of time, waste of energy, and a little too excessive. I'm trying to cut back on injuries this year. The last thing I want is another 'Jefferson' incident. The kid couldn't walk for the better part of a year.”

Raistlin looked towards Veerle and noticed the expression on her face. “I would have invited you to lunch, I haven't eaten in what feels like ages. But alas, you're already eating a sandwich. Oh well...” Raistlin got up, and started walking towards the door. “However, if you feel like a second lunch, feel free to join me.”

"I know you're in student council" He said with a laugh. "I did my research before coming here. I just had no idea what you looked like. Now I find it hard to look away."

"Awww! That's sweet." Stella said blushing proudly.

Suddenly she felt her cell vibrating furiously within her blazer. She opened it slyly as to not let Ray see. She did want to put on a rude act with him so soon. She really liked this guy....maybe more than she thought...And he was always so caring and nice. She glanced down at the text. It was from Krell. This had to be important...

"Listen Ray. I like you alot....so...Would you mind If we went out sometime on the weekend?" Stella asked.

She was confident as she asked the question. If he didn't like her back it wouldn't be the end of the world. Besides going on a date would seem forward....But Stella knew that if she wanted a relationship with her scheduele she had to make it work somehow.
"Anyways. I won't take 'no' for an answer! Meet me in the great hall in 2 days! I think it's my day off!" Stella said as she rose from her position. "Sorry but I have to go now. Krell needs me for something. Wish me luck!"

Stell sprinted off once again waving at Ray. She began to head off in the direction of Krells office when she bumped into a kid on crutches. "Ouch" the red sect student groaned as he fell to the ground.

"Omigosh Jefferson! I'm so sorry!" Stella said as students came rushing to his aid. "I'll make it up to you later."

Stella knew Jefferson from the previous year. She woould have figured he'd had been able to walk again after the Disciplinary incident...Finally she reached Krells Office and spotted Orion waiting inside. "Heya am I late?"

(OOC: Krells post will have to come later seeing as I'm being kicked off.)

Crimson Wolf
A Nervous Greeting

As Crimson was mostly looking over at the feline as he waited in line, basically with undivided attention, he had his ears open to hear what she and the other says. They spoke a few words back and forth briefly, but the first thing that was of particular interest to him was when the feline said her name.

“I'm Amane.” Crimson even liked her name, Amane. After she spoke, she glanced around until she spotted him, who was still watching her. He noticed her ears perk up, then her tail curl up into a question mark like position, this body language clearly suggesting curiosity.

She proceeded to tilt her head, then smiled at Crimson. He broke a sweat when she smiled at him, at that moment he knew she was more than just noticing him, but showing a sign of interest.

Afterwards she whipped back over to face who she had been speaking with. “We should eat!” she exclaimed, as she grabbed her hastily, dragging her along behind her as she got in line, not far behind Crimson Wolf.

Despite being considerably more nervous now, a feeling he wasn't familiar with, he collected himself and turned his head to face over his right shoulder to speak to her, first stating her name so it be clear whom he would be speaking to.

"Amane..I uh, couldn't help but overhear your conversation, I hope you aren't upset about that..eavesdropping." he spoke, with a couple of hitches in his speech. Even though he tried to relax before speaking, he couldn't help but still feel rather nervous, as he had feelings for her from the moment he saw her, and now she was quite close.

"My name's Crimson, by the way. Crimson Wolf...and Amane..that's a nice name, not very common." he introduced, complimenting her name, while he felt like complimenting her appearance, but hadn't the nerve to do so when Amane had yet to fit in a word with him.

Julien C. Blackwing
7:55 pm...the sun has already set an hour ago and the room was slightly illuminated by the small glimmer of the moonlight which entered through the old fashioned window. Julien was still on bed staring at the ceiling wondering what kind of day would receive him tomorrow aside from the many routinely ideas which went through his mind every night.

"I seriously need to stop thinking ahead so much...it's driving me nuts"
Julien thought as he slowly raised from bed and remained sit while staring at the wall at the opposite side of the room. With a deep sigh he began to rub his face with the palms of his hands in an attempt to shake out the sleepiness. He moved up from the bed and turned his face towards the window. Using both hands, he pushed the old window. Not a soul was seen down at the garden except for the usual guards doing their habitual night watch.

"Perhaps I should use this opportunity to wander around and know my surroundings..." Julien thought as he pushed down the window frame to close it. He then approached his wardrobe, pulled a blue shirt, a black coat and combat trousers. He went to the bathroom and took a warm water shower. Having finished showering and dressing, Julien took up his sword, wrapped it around his back and then left the room.

"No where?" An indecisive Julien thought aloud as he shifted his gaze from left to right. Not knowing where to start, Julien decided to go downstairs and explore the garden. Perhaps he would stumble across someone eventually...

Escaflowne

It was mission accomplished. All monsters eliminated and not so much of a scratch on anyone. Agatha looked a bit worn but then again, she did say she was not experienced in fighting. There was no helping it. As they approached the academy, Agatha departed rather quickly. Escaflowne would have treated her to lunch, but she was gone before she knew it. Instead, she made her offer to Athena and Eliane

Ah! Wait! Damn...she gone already. Well. Whats the time? If we have a bit left, i treat you guys lunch?

Maya

The first layer obviously appealed to Maya, but she could already imagine Eluniel and Taron being a bit squeamish with the octopus. As expected, she felt Eluniel cringe a bit. Japanese cuisine had a peculiar taste and she had to admit, not everyone accepted eating raw fish or octopus.

Ehehehe. I guess my home cuisine isnt to everyone's taste.

I’m okay with anything. Thank you for offering these food.

Ah, no problem. Pick whatever you want from any level. Mix and match whatever you want.

Just in case everyone was still a bit too polite to start, Maya took her chopsticks and picked up the octopus before she remembered her rice.

I forgot. I have rice too.

Pulling the three small plates for them to use, she places the small box of rice next to the three levels, resumed picking up the octopus and a few of the japanese food and began eating.

Itadakimasu!

Alan was walking down the cafeteria, looking around for a place to get dinner, a place to sit and still deep in thought about what Nova said, so he didn't even notice the winged boy coming his way until he had crashed into him and sent them both to the ground. Alan had time to let out a single yelp before he crashed painfully to the ground. Grimacing painfully as he ended up on his ass, he looked up to see who had knocked him to the ground with a pained grunt.

He was stopped dead by the boy he observed. He was striking and beautiful. Tall, with... wings. His eyes were bright and he was looking at Alan. Alan suddenly felt as though he was naked underneath the taller boy's stare.

The boy stood up and offered him a hand. Alan hesitantly took it as the boy remarked on how he shouldn't fly indoors. Alan found himself still, standing at an odd angle, and realized how stupid he must look to this boy.

"Oh..." Alan said in reply. "N-no, it's fine. I should have been paying more attention. I was in a- a bit of a daydream." He smiled at the boy, then decided it couldn't hurt to introduce himself. "I'm Alan. I'm Blue Sect."

Athena decided to eat her dinner in the cafeteria. She didn't eat dinner every day, but always ate something after completing a mission. It was her way of rewarding herself for a job well done. So she ordered a meal of bacon and a single boiled egg, before sitting down at an empty table with nothing but her thoughts for company.

She was still thinking about the mission from earlier in the day, but more about the mission she had to lead the next day. Exterminating a monster nest could be quite difficult with only a few people, particularly when novices were among them.

Still, the babies tended to protect the parent, so a wide range magic attack would fix things if that happened. Yes. That would do for now. Returning to her meal, she decided to focus on enjoying her reward for a job well done.

OOC: Short post is short. Sorry.
