Escaflowne

"Oh...Hello Escaflowne. How are you?"

Hm.... been better.

Escaflowne invited herself into her friends room and glided over to the window, checking out the view. It was as spectacular as the one from hers, but it didnt matter. All over the grounds, she could see coloured blazers scurrying around to and fro, trying to orientate themselves.

Well, what do you think? Pretty nice of them to shell out these four rooms for us. Speaking of which, have you seen the President?

She was pretty sure that they, as student council members, had jobs straight from the get go, but without even knowing what she was to do, nothing could be done.

I need to find her. Any clues?

~~~~~~~~~~
OOC: Should i get Delijah to the Disciplinary Committee room? Ill make it that she is idling there in any case.
Delijah had
settled down within ten minutes. The small nap hardly took more than three. Already, the girl went about her duties, as she had an image to upkeep. With both Yatagarasu and Kamaitachi in each hand,
Delijah stalked the hallways. As threatening as she tries to look, Delijah attracted slight smiles and stares. Striding with a purpose, she carved her way through the crowds of student before she reached the Committee room. No one was inside yet, so Delijah sat crosslegged against the wall, waiting.
Eliane took out her hookswords, and twirled them around. Looking at them she said, "Unfortunately, I have not seen Stella around, then again, I haven't seen the fourth guy either." She stopped to think for a second, putting down her swords. "Then again, considering his track record, I'd best avoid him as much as possible."
Putting on her white blazer over the black tank top, Eliane told Zee "Come on, if we're going to find the President, may as well do it together." Eliane walked out of the room, hoping that Escaflowne would follow.
(OOC: Tipsy lets not worry about the Student council Sect leaders yet as it may be decided in the Rp itself ewhen we meet)
Stella boiled in anger as she felt Orion touch her inappropriately again. "How the hell is he not expelled?" she mumbled under her breath.
She began to climb the staircase again moaning of all the exercise she had been getting running throughout the school. She grabbed a small kid nearby and said "Hey you! You know that student council member who was just here? Get the disciplinary head to give him a clobbering for me!"
The confused student whimpered and standing up straight he said "Yes maam!" and ran up the staircase.
Stella's day seemed only to be just beginning as the evening sun shone through the windows. She spotted two women descending the staircase in white and smiled in excitement! "Escaflowne! Eliane! Hey!"
OOC: Seems to me, we'll be running into her on the way down
Escaflowne
"Come on, if we're going to find the President, may as well do it together."
Okay. Gimme a sec. Gotta grab Touhou!
Although she already had her other weapons on her, as is her standard practice, Escaflowne would never go anywhere too far without her black nodachi Touhou. Quickly moving into motion, she rounded out the room's door and into her own, snatching the long blade from its bag and ran back outside to meet Eliane.
Right. I'm good to go.
Escaflowne carefull maneuvered the blade behind her waist, enough so that it wouldnt knock into the frames of the door. To others, it appear unwieldly, its size and where it is held, but for Escaflowne, training with it for her whole life had made drawing and using it like breathing. As they descended down the stairs, a question popped into her head.
Say, why do you always still call me Escaflowne? Don't you find it a mouthful? If you want, you can just call me Zee. Nice and simple.
Athena raised a brow at her superior within the Disciplinary Comittee. She wasn't too pleased with him. Still, she'd spoken her mind, and she knew from observation that pushing the point with Raistlin was only likely to get him to withdraw even further into himself and become even more unresponsive.
She folded her arms as she walked, her weapons at her belt tied and strapped securely to her waist. First was the fan for blocking magical assaults. It also worked rather well as a channel for some of her not unremarkable magical power. Then came her sacrificial knives with the golden hilts, sharp and wickedly curved for maximum damage. They would be a sadist's dream, and a prisoner's nightmare. Third and final was her elegant rapier, which would draw easily and fit snugly in her hand once drawn, for swift, elegant combat.
As the Disciplinary Committee room came within her field of vision, she walked ahead of Raistlin and opened the door wide to walk in, and saw that she was not the first visitor to the room that morning.
"Good morning, Deliliah." Athena smiled briefly at the other girl, the Vice President of the Disciplinary Committee, before walking around her and sitting down on a chair to Delilah's right, waiting for Raistlin to come in and begin the meeting.
Alan, after resting for aout half an hour, decided to get up and see the sights. It would be a waste of time if he just spent all his time in his room. Eureka Island was supposed to be home to many beautiful and incredible places, and Alan wanted to at least have a good walk around the school before settling into Academy life. It seemed his dorm mate wasn't here yet anyway, so it couldn't hurt to go exploring. And besides, he wanted to try some of the island food! It was supposed to be delicious!
He had barely left the dorms when he saw quite an unusual sight and heard quite an
unusual sound. It was one that awoke his natural kind instincts.
It was the sound of someone crying.
Someone in a room not far from him. Alan peeked into a room and saw a boy on his knees, clutching his chest, and obviously distressed. He was in tears. Something had obviously happened to this kid, and Alan couldn't help but feel an obligation to help him. He could do a lot of good for his schoolmate.
"Hey. You OK?" he asked, deciding to stick to basic words for now in case the kid was distressed or downrigt scared. unusual sound. It was one that awaoke his natural kind instincts.
Elaine crossed her arms, thinking about what Stella would've want from her when Escaflowne said her request. Although it was only since last year when they have met, and she won a seat in the council, she had not shown much confidence in herself after winning it all. But still, one step at a time.
"Alright Zee, you got me on that one." She smiled, though Eliane smiled constantly, they were usually empty. Sometimes she needed to reassure herself that she can do this.
Escaflowne! Eliane! Hey!"
Eliane looked and saw Stella climbing up the stairs. Making the monk think, "Try telling that to her...."
Eliane said, "Bonjour, Stella. How is your day so far?" While it was obvious how Stella's day is considering that she is in a rush, it was best to ask anyway.
Raistlin knew that Athena wasn't happy with him. Maybe at some point he should really work on his people skills. He was already working on others skills he shouldn't have been working on. No one else knew that throughout the summer break he had been using his shadow element magic to summon his new weapon... His scythe. Training with melee weapons was unheard of in the Majere family. If they ever found out about it, he would be disowned. However, he couldn't help it if he was very good with it. He would just have to stick with the blades he always had with him and controlled using his magic.
Athena crossed her arms and started walking ahead of him into the Committee room. Yep, she was rather annoyed. “Good morning, Delijah.” Athena said. Raistlin sat down into his chair. “Good morning, Delijah. I hope the new school year goes well for you bo-”
Before the meeting could commence, someone burst right into the door. “The President of the Student Council needs you guys to take care of another Student Council member.” Raistlin facepalmed, “The hell? Fine. Athena, Delijah, first mission of the year, take out Orion. You know how he is.”
Raistlin then teleported out of the room.
Teron knelt there in pain for several minutes before it finally subsided. He kept his head down as he wiped his eyes. "Yeah...I'll be okay. It's just...a painfully fresh memory..." He picked up the crumpled blazer on the floor as he stood up. "I won't be able to wear this though," he said as he laid it on the bed. He picked up his black jacket and pulled it on instead.
Reaching into one of his bags, he pulled out a blue cloth band and slid it up his left arm so that it fit snugly over his bicep. "Means Ill be wearing this earlier that I expected to."
He held out his right hand, eyes still on the ground. "Taron Eltrac, spellblade," he said introducing himself to his visitor.
Crimson Wolf had been seated at the edge of one of the beds, though not laying back on it, still thinking of what to do, when suddenly he heard just outside the door someone speak.
"What's up boy? Someone in here?" It was silent for but a few seconds, then the voice on the other side of the door spoke again saying "Well let's hope they like dogs!" in a slightly humourous tone.
He got up from the bed and stood up, just before the door swung open. As it did, in came a young man and a Wolf, he assume the obvious; it was his pet. Though not many people go around with a pet Wolf, it was certainly something he was not expecting to see while at a school, of all places.
The person looked quite surprised when he saw him, quite understandably, likely not a living soul would know of his kind; Ferfnir. "I hope you don't mind Ki right here..." he seemed a little bit nervous as he spoke, Crimson thought it to be crucial he let him know there's no need to get nerved up around him, his appearance having him a bit setback, clearly.
The Wolf, Ki as he was called, started to raise and lower his head, as if to be examining him, then it's tail began to wag from side to side pretty fast. "Well, his full name is Kisharu, but I call him Ki, my name is Raymond, but you can call me Ray." the man introduced, still seeming nervous.
Crimson Wolf greeted back, "Good to meet you, Ray, and your pet Wolf Kisharu, or just Ki..." he continued on to properly introduce himself, surely he had some questions in his mind right now. "My name is Crimson Wolf. You may call me that, Crimson, Wolf, whatever suits you, doesn't matter to me. You look a bit nervous, but you don't need to be, I know my appearance may be unusual, to put it mildly, but I can get along with others perfectly fine."
After he said this to try have him feel more relaxed, he looked down at the Wolf, and was reminded of Sophia's playful personality when he looked at him, "Your Wolf's playful energy reminds me of that of my sister. And yes, I have a sibling, Sophia is my only one though, her fur color is pretty much the opposite of my own, she is often quite cheerful. Unfortunately she doesn't fit into Melee though, so we must have separate Dorms..."
After standing up for a short time, meeting with Ray and Ki, he sat back down on the edge of his bed, then realized there was still something significant he hadn't answered. "I am of something you might call a...Wolf sub species, called Ferfnir. With the intelligence of a human, and strength of a Wolf...that includes the good sense of smell, keen eye sight and very good hearing, so I did hear your 'let's hope they like dogs' comment." he said, with a bit of a smirk on his face as he finished the sentence. "I care a great deal for Wolves in general, so yes, we should get along just fine. Not just the Wolf, but yourself as well, you clearly must like Wolves to have one for a pet, not just anyone does that, are you very close to it, Ray?"
OOC: Sorry, no Sophia post at this time, this took me way too long already, should fit it in next post, she doesn't have some room mate sharing her dorm anyways...
Alan smiled, deciding not to ask about the incident, and looked at the wrinkled blazer. "We can get that fixed you know. Just send it to get washed." When the other student talked about his memory, he tried to advise him. "The past is the past, you know. No point in letting it get you down when there's nothing you can do about it."
"Hi," smiled Alan. "I'm Alan Sembridge. I'm training to become a Ninja. Pleasure to meet you." He took the offered hand and shook it.
Athena watched the unfolding events with quite a lot of interest, from the student bursting into the room, to Raistlin cursing and vanishing. A little flashy and silly to teleport a little distance, at least in Athena's eyes. Still, that wasn't important right now. She had to do her job, then worry about showing off.
She looked at Delijah with a curt nod, then stood straight, quickly checking her weapons with a cursory glance, then walked out the door, not even pausing as she told her informer; "Thank you for the information," she said, and then she was gone.
She quickly caught sight of Orion, approaching him with a cold look on her face and no compassion in her eyes.
"I am Athena Hale,a member of the Disciplinary Committee. I'll have to ask you to come with me, I'm afraid."
Orion looked up at the sound of a voice behind him. He turned around his chair, keeping the back of it towards the newcomer, to view a woman dressed in a yellow blazer. Disciplinary Committee. Great. "Let's see, what did I do this time..." Orion murmured, tilting his head, meanwhile grabbing up a pencil from behind him. The woman asked him to go with her, at which Orion shook his head.
"See, there is a few problems with that. First and foremost is that I have no reason to go with you. There's no point in doing something if I have no reason to, right? Second, I am a bit busy at the moment and really don't have time for this. Third" Orion looked her with appraising eyes "did anyone tell you about what happened last time the Committee attempted to apprehend me?" During all this, Orion was judging her.
She had the bearing of someone who was used to winning in a battle, that much was obvious. That she was the only one suggested that she was stronger then most of the goon squad. Then again, even the toughest goon in the world wouldn't be able to do much if there was a pencil impaling their neck. Orion kept a tight grip on the pencil, tensing his unseen lower body to jump away from the chair and kick at Athena if required.
After the brief rest, Joey decided to go check out the school some and get used to his surroundings. While walking, he saw something that caught his eye. Wondering what it was, he walked over to it. What he saw didn't really bother him, but now he would have to go get his stuff and find these people, since they would surely be here by this time.
"Ray and Crimson Wolf." He said to himself as he wrote those names down.
After writing the names down, he went back to his room and picked up his bag. He thought about taking off his blazer, but decided not to. Finally, before he left, he took it off, just so that he wouldn't get in trouble for anything. The last thing he wanted to do was get in trouble on day one.
He saw the door to one room was open, so he peeked his head inside. What he saw made him a bit nervous. Inside the room were a man with a wolf next to him, and something that looked like a wolf sitting on the bed. He started to walk away, then decided that there was nothing wrong with asking their names, so he walked into the doorway.
"Excuse me. I'm looking for..." he paused to take the paper with the names on it out. "Ray and Crimson Wolf. I saw something that made me have to find these people. It is nothing bad, so don't get nervous about what it may be."
OOC: Either one or both of you can do the dialogue if you wish.
Crimson Wolf
While he was chatting with Ray, he noticed someone in the doorway, but didn't look over right away, the man started to leave, but immediately came back into the doorway, still not stepping right into the dorm yet.
"Excuse me. I'm looking for..." he spoke, then paused to take a look at a piece of paper, "Ray and Crimson Wolf. I saw something that made me have to find these people. It is nothing bad, so don't get nervous about what it may be."
Of course he knew they were the two he stated he was looking for, though he was a bit curious about why he must find them. "Have to find them, huh? Well, you're talking to them right now." Crimson said with a bit of a smug look as he he spoke. "I am Crimson Wolf, the young man here is Ray, and that," he looked down at the Wolf before finishing, "that is his pet Wolf, Kisharu. Or Ki for short."
Looking over again at the man in the doorway, he asked him about what he meant earlier about having to find them. "Pardon my curiosity, but I can't help but have to wonder what you saw to make you want to find two particular people you've never met before. Well, I'm not a person, never was, never will be, but you get the point."
Sophia
Sophia had been in her dorm for a short while, alone, 'I wonder if Wolfy has any room mates already, not everyone is magically gifted or can really learn it, so there's probably a lot more students in the melee section, where he is. I wonder if I would get into trouble if I slipped into his dorm to check in on him...' she thought to herself, as she looked out a window at the environment just outside of the building.
She had become bored quickly, and lonely, she is usually around people, but she was now by herself in her dorm, now contemplating going over to Crimson Wolf's dorm, which she already knew where it was from when they both picked out which dorms they'd be in before they branched off to each of them.
While wanting to go over, having thought it through she thought it best to not do anything that could even possibly get her into any trouble, especially so soon, 'Nuh-uh, I don't want to get in trouble as soon as I get here like this, I'll see him soon, then I can ask him myself.'
Xe (Zack), looked at his dorm call sheet.
Looks like I got me a roommate. He said to himself.
Why don't I go look for him or her.
Xe walked up and down the halls looking for the one named Agatha.
Looks like I don't know anyone here. I can maybe meet some people here, I may even find me a girl. Xe said quietly
Where oh where could Agatha be?
Xe stopped to ask many people, but he always got the same few responses, such as "Fuck off" "Nope, don't have a clue" and "Get outa my face before I bust yours"
Xe stopped, sat down on a bench in the courtyard, and survayed his surroundings.
Maybe if I sit here and wait, I may just find what I'm looking for. Xe said, and that's just what he did.
Athena rested her hand over his, turning the pencilaway, the expression on her face unchanging as she looked at him. "I don't think that's a good idea." She tilted her head to one side. "You'd face prosecution if someone actually ended up dead, and we don't want someone with your... talents being removed from the school."
Her hand reached down to one of her knives, and curled around it. Silent,but swift, she unsheathed the knife and put theflat of it to his neck, her face still as cool as ever as she looked him directly in the eye and smiled a cold, dead smile.
"Put it down. Or we'll have to do this the hard way, Orion." She had no mercy in her eyes, and no intention of showing any. She had permission to use violent force if necessary. "Student Council does not put you above our rules. Learn that." Her grip remained tight over the hand with the pencil in it.
Orion only watched passively as his hand was suddenly constrained and a knife put against his neck. He sighed as she said that his position doesn't put him above the rules. "Think I don't know that? Slight problem though is that it's very hard to punish me." His own dagger was suddenly out and was set an inch from Athena's right eye. Orion's own eyes remained calm as well, though the blue aura around him as displaying irritation at the interruption in what he needed to do.
"Now then, we can do this in a number of ways. The first one that comes to mind is we both drop our weapons, you leave the room, and I return to my work on finding chores for us all. The second one is that you attempt to harm me, go blind in your right eye, and I'll probably end up with a few of my own cuts and bruises. The third one is await for anyone that might stumble upon us and let them decide."
Orion, all the while, had been staring into her left eye since he couldn't the right one at the moment. Watching for any emotion, any sign of an attack. "The second option is probably going to involve a knife fight, and I don't think you can win a knife fight if you have one and your opponent has two." Orion's ears strained to hear any movement coming from the still open doorway to his room, in case of anyone else appearing.
"And as you stated before, I do have talents. Those talents are deadly to my enemies... but very beneficial to my friends. Which do you want to be?"
The name Alan Sembridge was familiar to Taron. He knew it had to do with the school so he pulled out the sheaf of papers he had recieved regardign his acceptance. He quickly perused them looking for any mention of the name within. As he looked he addressed Alan's comments: "It is not a matter of the blazer being cleaned up or what I've done to get over it but how I feel when I put it on. My body remembers what happened and reacts the same way it did. I won't be able to wear it for a long time..."
He found his answer written on the sheet explaining his sect. At the bottom was a list of his roomates. There was only one other name on the list besides his own: Alan Sembridge. He kept his eyes on the ground as he handed the paper to Alan. "It would appear we are roommates. Though you being a ninja suggests melee. I use magic in conjunction with melee attacks. I suppose in an odd sense I AM melee but other...talents of mine would suggest otherwise."
Delijah
Things happened rather too quickly for Delijah's liking. In the moment her committee members walked in, before she could utter a single word, a messenger barged in and in an instant, they were off on a mission. Raistlin teleported off while Athena got a head start off. The Leader had spoken. She had a mission to complete. While only half a minute behind, that was still a fair amount of time.
"Now then, we can do this in a number of ways. The first one that comes to mind is we both drop our weapons, you leave the room, and I return to my work on finding chores for us all. The second one is that you attempt to harm me, go blind in your right eye, and I'll probably end up with a few of my own cuts and bruises. The third one is await for anyone that might stumble upon us and let them decide."
I'll take the third then.
In a swirl of air, Delijah appeared behind Orion, Kamaitachi's blade laid squarely across his shoulder next to his neck. The air was electric. It could boil down to a fight in a second. Delijah hoped that even Orion wouldn't go toe to toe with two Disciplinary members at once.
Now, this is an order from your head. Regardless of who you think is stronger or what not, she is your superior. You resist and your own position as a StuCo member is in jeopardy. So step down....please.
A tiny blue flame erupted in front of her left eye, a sign of her first ability being activated. Delijah had to treat this seriously if she wanted to get out of this unscathed. If he does resist, then she was prepared, somewhat.
"Bonjour, Stella. How is your day so far?"
Stella had stood on the steps for a rest with the two girls. Catching her breath she spotted two disciplinary members whizzing by up to the Student council dorms. Hehe! That serves the perve! she thought. "Ugh! My day is going kinda sorta not so good! But hey! We need to discuss student council stuff! And we have to figure out who's escorting which students for tomorrow's mandatory missions!" Stella spilled out all at once. "And to make matters worse we're rooming with Orion."
Stella could hear chanting from students at the top of the staircase. The students were going "Fight! Fight! Fight!"
Stella gazed at them, "Looks like there's already a fight on the first day. But never mind that, is there anything you two want to tell me?" Stella asked.
She could see that the girl Escaflowne also known as Zee had an urgent look in her eyes.
------------------------------------------------------------
Headmaster Krell sat in his office signing student admission forms. The day was off to an energetic start for the whole school. He had gotten up to gaze at the blue waters of Eureka's Ocean when he saw a giant black creature wading from afar. Openeing his eyes wider the water stood still. "Hm...Must have been my imagination..." Krell said as he went back to his desk and sat...
As Agatha was done reading her book about Psychokinetic's she realised how much her powers were limited. If she never arrived at this academy she would never have known that. Somewhat eager to become stronger she finally set a goal for herself. To become stronger, strong enough to protect the people she cares about, whoever that may be.
Standing up from her seat she fixed her skirt and her jacket wile going back and placed the book in a more hidden location so no one would find it, but placing it on a shelf would be to obvious. She did not want anyone to loan the book and loaning it herself would not be a wise idea just now. She then placed the book behind some other books that was not important and left the library.
Out of the library she was back in the Great Hall once again. She looked at her map and decided to check out the training area. Knowing herself she would probaply spend most time there or in the library so she walked towards the training area with a swift pace which was located at the basement floor.
As she arrived she was stunned by the size of it. It was huge and had everything anyone would need. Everything from normal weights and cardio excercise equipment. She could even see training dummies, but what really interested her was the option to have computer generated enemies to fight.
She was not sure if it was okey to just take the liberty too start a training session, but since it was a training area it would not harm anyone now would it. She approached the computer and fondled with it until she managed to learn how to configure it properly. It was then one guard was made through her fondling at it was on the easiest difficulty.
Agatha walked into the big area that was the training facility and got into position.
"Ready?"
Agatha kissed her ring before initating the order to start the session.
"Innitiate training session."
The figure charged at her sending a flying kick too the side of her body knocking her swiftly down. She was amased how the easiest difficulty could be this hard for her. The enemy was swift and strong, but there was things she could do to counter it. Her acrobatic training came in handy as she flung her body from the ground onto her feet. She took a rope and tied her hair back into a long ponytail as she was getting in a serious mood and started to teleport to the side of the figure. She stretched her hand out for one of the weights and managed to connect with it. She jumped and went over the head of the figure as it tried to hit her mindlessly and as she was exactly over him the weight was flung into the figure with great force knocking it over. As she landed she connected her powers to the figure and flung it to the back of the training area and as it did the training session was done. She had won, but she was far too weak to be able too do anything harder for the time being.
She then walked over to the nearest chair and sat down to catch her breath. She had not fought in a very long time and doing this was eye opening for her.
