*Eureka Academy*

"Nice to meet you. My name is Joey, and I saw a bulletin with dorm assignments on it, which made me want to find you. It appears that we will be roommates here."

He was suprised at the wolf's speaking ability. He had not known any other species that had such good ability to speak, but he had not seen much of the world, so it was not that shocking to him.

After the introductions were made, he walked in and put his bag down, trying not to be nervous and send the wolf into a frenzy. He looked at the wolf, which looked very calm right now, and wondered how someone could keep such an animal as a pet.

He walked over to the empty bed and put his bag down at the end. After that, he put his new blazer on, which fit as well as the other one did.

"Forgive me for asking, but what species are you?" He asked Crimson as he was putting on his blazer.

As Xe sat there in the court yard, he decided to survey the other students a wee bit more closely.
There is a girl of the age of 16 over there. Xe thought to himself. I wonder what she is thinking.
Xe focused onto the girl, entering her mind.
I must not let her become aware that I am entering her mind, my telekinesis is a little rusty.

Xe homed in onto her thoughts. She is worried. Xe said. But about what?

Xe entered deeper and deeper into her thoughts. He uncovered a memory that was better left unsaid.

Xe let the connection on their minds break. He decided that the courtyard was not a great place to meet an Other. So he decided to go to the training area, he was reading some interesting thoughts on the battle room recently. Better go check it out. He said, and he was off.

Raistlin didn't teleport directly to Orion's location. He had to do something else before he even though about doing that. Besides, Athena and Delijah could handle themselves. There were more pressing matters than the school assclown at the moment. Instead, he teleported directly in front of the Student Council President, Stella.

Before she could say anything, Raistlin started speaking. “Good Afternoon. I'm Raistlin Majere, Leader of the Disciplinary Committee. I want to wish you a good year, and issue you some advice. Keep your dog on a very short leash, or I will have to put him down. I don't want that narcissistic assclown making a mockery out of this school. I'll assume you know whom I'm speaking of.”

Without letting her retort, Raistlin teleported again. He had a place to be, and a plan to launch.

Orion scowled at the newcomer. "I was kidding about that third one." He murmured to her, then noticed the blue fire in her left eye. Strange, and perhaps something Orion could use. "That blue fire in your eye. Would that be an ability of yours that doesn't rely on magic?" Orion, though a mime, had restraints unfortuneately. The first was that he couldn't mimic a blade move. The second was that he could not move any magic except the broad classification of white, or in other words, healing and defensive.

Orion said a few mental curses as he realized he had slipped. Already he had two people with weapons to his throat, and he only had one to theirs. Orion considered carefully what the best approach would be, then decided on one. Dropping the pencil, he pulled the dagger out of his other sleeve in a flash, pressing it hard enough to just barely spill blood from Athena's wrist. The other one would find Orion's first dagger pointing at her right eye now.

"Let's see here. Two weapons to my throat, while I have one dagger poised to cut right through a vein and the other set to blind. I think that keeps us at pretty equal odds right now for chance of serious to fatal injury." Orion shifted his eyesight so he could see both at once, though not fully both. Just their hands. "Now then, my vote, since I don't want to spill blood on the first day, is that we all back away, and you explain to me why your here."

"After that, you'll leave, I'll get back to work, and we can handle this matter tomorrow when it is a more proper time." A glance at his peripheral vision showed something else. "And a lot less public, since your approach to here has apparently drawn a following." Orion was referring to the group of students outside his door who were watching the scene unfold. None dared to go through the door, probably because the air almost crackled with tension and restrained power.

If something happened, they would most likely run as fast as possible. Never get caught in the middle of a fight between two beings of power.

Crimson Wolf

When Crimson Wolf spoke, he could notice a surprised expression took place on the young man's teenage face.

"Nice to meet you. My name is Joey, and I saw a bulletin with dorm assignments on it, which made me want to find you. It appears that we will be roommates here." he replied, after Crimson Wolf had finished speaking. Looked like his dorm was going to be a full house from the very beginning.

He knew he would have company now, but he didn't know of for Sophia, as far as he knew there was no one that had her for a roommate, he thought about this and wondered how she would be handling it, but shook the thought for a moment as Joey, after he came in and over to an empty bed, setting his bag down at the end of it, then speaking again as he put on his blazer.

"Forgive me for asking, but what species are you?" he asked curiously, not very sure just what Crimson Wolf is. Slightly surprised he ask that he forgive him for asking it, he replied accordingly.

"No need to be apologetic about it, you're going to be a roommate, so we will be around each other some to be certain, so it is only right that you know. Suppose you could call me a Wolf sub species, namely Ferfnir. Intelligence of a human, strength of a Wolf, good hearing, sight, and sense of smell included, and as you can tell capable of speech.

If that isn't enough..." he said, pausing for just a couple of seconds, likely to build some kind of suspense, "Ferfnir can also Shape Shift between the normal Wolf shape, which is of course quadruped, like that Wolf of Ray's, and this Human shape like I am in right now, and am almost always in, as I prefer it, it is biped so I can move around on two legs without struggling at all to stand.

There is a lot more to me than meets the eye, at a mere glance, I look like some wolf-like being with dark colored fur, and this clothing I wear is none too light of color either, some people do have a bit of a tendency to intimidated by my appearance, but I'm certainly not sinister, as some of the people that have that kind of reaction could possibly think..."

He caught himself from carrying on with talking away, changing to saying "Huh, seems like I got rambling on again, my apologies, hopefully I have not bored you half to sleep by now, don't think too much of it though since I don't always talk that much..." Looking out the window he sees a bright and sunny sky, the sun was shining strong and the weather was very fine, he started to get a thought of going out to enjoy it, but didn't make a move towards the doorway just yet.

Sophia

Seeing the lovely weather outside, she had finally decided to head out to enjoy it for a bit. Heading out of the dorm and through the hallway, she couldn't help but glance over when she noticed the door to a particular dorm open, and upon doing so, she saw not only Crimson Wolf, but three others in there, including someone with a Wolf.

Tempted as she was to just walk on in and meet the unfamiliar faces, she feared entering someone else's dorm like that would be considered trespassing, she mainly wanted to see how Crimson Wolf was doing, so as she noticed him looking out the window, she decided to go outside and somewhere in front of the window he is by and looking out from.

Even though she would be below it, perhaps still he might see her outside then come out, especially if she were to do something like wave or some sort of signal to catch his attention, suggesting she wants him to come out there and see her. By memory, going outside to roughly straight ahead from around where the window Crimson Wolf had been looking out of from his dorm was located, hoping he would notice her there, or even one of the others point it out and it would come to his attention, either way would work fine for her, as long as he had become aware of her presence just outside.

Raistlin had now teleported to the room that he need to be in. Orion's office. Upon arriving he could see both of his fellow Disciplinary Committee members with their blades upon Orion's throat. Something that Raistlin was both happy, and somewhat sad to see.

“Greetings Orion! I truly am sorry that we have to meet like this. I'm Majere, Raistlin Majere. No doubt that you've heard of me, as much as I've heard of you. This is my first year as head of the Disciplinary Committee, as it is your first year as a member of the Student Council. That being said, you know perfectly damned well that none of us here can take you in. According to Chapter 6, Section 7, Paragraph 4, Line 3, 'A member of Student Council is only to be punished ONLY by another member of Student Council'”

Raistlin now grinned a huge, almost disturbing grin, “'Unless another students well being is at stake.' Well now... What do we have here. A Student Council member with a blade to the eye of another student, and another pressing against her skin so hard that it is DRAWING BLOOD. Oh, and what's this?! Students outside the door to witness it! I, myself, being the head of the Disciplinary Committee have to authorization to punish a student as I see fit, as long as their lives are not in danger. However, as a member of the Student Council, you don't have that privilege.”

“I could ask you why you have a blade pointed at the eye of a Disciplinary Committee, however, seeing as you're drawing blood, it doesn't matter. You're breaking the rules, you've been caught, and there are now dozens of witnesses here to back it up. I do believe the punishment for this is QUITE steep. One formal complaint to the Headmaster, and you're done.”

“However, I want to be friends.” No one would have expected this out of Raistlin. Not. A. Damned. Soul. Raistlin had him beat, intellectual checkmate. Why the Hell would Raistlin of all people want to be... friends?

“So how about we put this aside, get to know one another, lay down our differences, and just be pals? Whaddya say?”

OOC: minor, but making athena draw blood is god modding, isnt it?

Delijah

"I was kidding about that third one."

Too bad. Yo offered it and i took it.

"That blue fire in your eye. Would that be an ability of yours that doesn't rely on magic?"

Hm.... I wonder.

It was stupid to even discuss anything about her combat strength with an opponent.
"Let's see here. Two weapons to my throat, while I have one dagger poised to cut right through a vein and the other set to blind. I think that keeps us at pretty equal odds right now for chance of serious to fatal injury.Now then, my vote, since I don't want to spill blood on the first day, is that we all back away, and you explain to me why your here."

That may be so, but i'm poised to slit your carotid artery the moment you move. Her life for yours. An even trade. We win in the end.

As if to emphasize her point she pressed Kamaitachi further against his throat, the small protuding point of the edge pressing down onto where the artery throbbed.

I highly doubt even you can move fast enough to execute your attack and avoid my blade altogether. However, i agree with the spilling of blood. Sign of good faith as the offending party, drop your blades together with Athena, and then i'll drop mine. I am not dishonourable enough to attack after i have given my word. Plus, we are acting on the highest authority in the student body, a request from your president. So that should answer your question. Now, do we have a deal?

It was a big gamble here. Not even Orion would be game enough to gouge out Athena's eye and slit her wrist. Should he do it, then the school messed up in giving such a high position to a maniac, and Delijah would be doing a good deed for the school in subduing such a person. It all rested on Orion. Was he a crazy psychomaniac or just a cocky bugger? Two lives balanced here on the next move.

Just in time, Raistlin teleported in. A bad sinking feeling bubbled in Delijah's stomach. It was three on one now, but from what she knew of Raistlin, the possibility of a fight just escalated. Delijah swallowed in anticipation, and glanced rapidly between the two boys.

~~~~~~~~~~
Escaflowne
"Looks like there's already a fight on the first day. But never mind that, is there anything you two want to tell me?"
It was going to be something not overly urgent, and Escaflowne didn't feel like shovelling more work on the poor girl. Before she could speak, Raistlin, the Disciplinary Committee Leader appeared.
“Good Afternoon. I'm Raistlin Majere, Leader of the Disciplinary Committee. I want to wish you a good year, and issue you some advice. Keep your dog on a very short leash, or I will have to put him down. I don't want that narcissistic assclown making a mockery out of this school. I'll assume you know whom I'm speaking of.”
Well. It was nothing urgent, but hearing what Raistlin said, i'd say that. Its been less that six hours since we started and it seems Orion stirred up some real mess. What do we do? Do you want me to go and mediate between the two groups?
Well. It was nothing urgent, but hearing what Raistlin said, i'd say that. Its been less that six hours since we started and it seems Orion stirred up some real mess. What do we do? Do you want me to go and mediate between the two groups?
Eliane thought about it, the school year started and already Orion had to get himself into trouble for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Sometime, she always did think why he became Student Council...
Probably would not be best to think about it.
Eliane finally said, "I say just leave him. The problem will probably sort itself out."
Though she had to admit, Orion is cocky, which is probably well founded considering that he is very skilled. If anything, she thinks that the three of them already heading up, would be a match for him.
"Anyway, besides the situation with Orion, is there anything you need us to take care of, Stella?"
"No need to be apologetic about it, you're going to be a roommate, so we will be around each other some to be certain, so it is only right that you know. Suppose you could call me a Wolf sub species, namely Ferfnir. Intelligence of a human, strength of a Wolf, good hearing, sight, and sense of smell included, and as you can tell capable of speech.
Crimson paused at this point.
"Huh, seems like I got rambling on again, my apologies, hopefully I have not bored you half to sleep by now, don't think too much of it though since I don't always talk that much..."
"Hey, if you want to talk and tell me your life story, then go right ahead." Joey said jokingly.
He finished puting on his blazer, then sat on the bed wondering what he should do next. He decided that he would wait and see what his roommates did before going out on his own. He wanted to check out the school, but also wanted to get to know his roommates more.
He finally decided to wait on the bed, just in case another wanted to join them. While looking towards the door, he noticed another wolf walk by that looked almost like Crimson. Seeing that nothing was wrong with having lots of wolves running around, he didn't say anything. He looked at his bag and contemplated taking out his stuff, but after looking around the room, he had no real idea where he would put it, so he kept it where it was.
He pulled out his MP3 player from his sweater pocket and turned it on, listening to the song that was already playing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VHu9aEuI7NM) and kept one earpiece out so he could hear any discussions. He had always liked school, and he hoped that this one would be no different to him.
"I guess you're my roommate then." Alan smiled and sat down on his own bed. "That was lucky. I was getting confused for a second." He chuckled slightly. "I guess I can understand you being confused and all."
He looked at the crumpled blazer, and the look of pain that still seemed to be on the boy's face. Alan didn't ask questions. If he was having trouble, he would have hopefully come forward. Besides, Alan didn't want to to be too invasive.
"So, a spellblade, huh? Nice mix of both I gotta say. I'm mostly melee. Got a bit of magic in there for my speed, but that's pretty much it. Never hadmuch talent with magic.If I wasn'tfailing altogether I was setting something on fire."
______________________________________________________________
Athena blinked as the knife stopped inches from Delijah's eye, but did not waver, even as the other knife touched her wrist and drew blood. The stinging sensation would have made most people wince, but Athena was accustomed to ignoring pain and getting o with the job, and did not act. Besides, she had Delijah on back-up.
"I've said everything I've wanted to say," she said softly, unmoving, not doing what Orion obviously wanted her to do. "You've broken the rules with that last little choice of your's." She indicated the knife at her wrist. "That means you've surrendered your Student Council immunity. You're just a normal student to the Commitee now."
As Raistlin teleported in, Athena blinked again. It seemed to be the day for unexpected surprises. Such an eventful first day. Still, she couldn't help but to feel a slight adrenaline rush at the fast paced turn of events. Never a dull day for the Disciplinary Commitee.
As Raistlin read the boy his rights, Athena kept her blade tightly on the boy's throat. He would hopefully see sense and surrender now. He couldn't take on three Disciplinary Comitee members at once. The top three no less. Not even a member of Student Council could manage that.
Athena couldn't help but to widen her eyes at Raistlin's remark about the two becoming friends. Raistlin Majere, offering his hand in friendship? The idea was inconceivable. Laughable if Athena was not in battle.
Still, it had the potential to lessen the possiblity of a fight. Turning back to look at Orion, Athena gave him an expectant glance, as if to say: "What are you waiting for?" She still did not remove her blade. She didn't trust this joker one bit.
Ray listened carefully as the one who called himself Crimson Wolf spoke. He seemed like a nice person, easy for someone like Ray to get along with, Given Ray's love for animals and nature. When Crimson asked if Ray and Kisharu were close, Ray was about to respond, but someone else came walking into the room looking for them. Crimson also beat Ray to the response. Waiting patiently for why exactly he was being sought out, Ray laid on his bed, and Kisharu jumped up rather calmly and laid next to Ray.
"Nice to meet you Joey, as Crimson said, my name is Ray, and this is Ki." Sitting back up, Ray took the swords he had on his back off and set them beside the bed he was on. "You guys can go check out the school, but I will be staying in here. There will more than likely be a big crowd looking around, and I would much rather go when the crowd is thinner than it will be today, ya know what I mean?"
Ray leaned back and put his hands behind his head. His eyes were gently closed, and he spoke more to say "Right now it's time for me to relax after the long way here." Ray paused, but then looked to Crimson realizing he never gave him an answer. "To answer your earlier question, Me and Ki here, we're unseparable. We work together, we walk together, we play, we even fight together. The team we have is very strong, and it's mainly because we have been together as long as I can remember..."
Orion only listened faintly to his rights. The last goon squad had told him already, and he didn't have that bad of a memory. What did surprise him was the offer of friendship. That, and neither of the two young women wavering. Orion considered, then scowled at Raistlin. "Remind me to never play chess with you. But sure, why not? One of the biggest trouble-makers in the school and the head of the discplinary committee. Why not?" Orion began to laugh before his blades were withdrawn once more, sheathed back in his sleeves.
He moved his head away from the twin blades, turning back around so as to face the computer once again. "Anyways, I got to get this done before Miss President throws another pissy fit, which, while it would be amusing, would be annoying as hell." Orion was also bringing up the plans of the school, figuring the best place to get payback on her for sicking the Committee on him. "Sorry about the blood and such, but I intensely dislike blades at my throat."
Orion began looking through the jobs on Google that he had brought up earlier but was interrupted. "Now then, if you wouldn't mind leaving my room before i eject you forcibly from it...." No idle threat, though it would be a pain to attempt it with Raistlin. Unpredictable as the bastard was, he had a reputation same as Orion, which was the reason he had gotten head of the Committee. "I'm pretty sure current business has been finished."
Orion began to bookmark pages and compose an email to Stella about the choice of missions. "Still can't believe they put a pair of unpredictable bastards like us in positions of power..." Orion murmured under his breath before casting a look behind him. "And by the by, tell Miss President if she has an issue with me, have her settle it with me personally instead of sending you guys. Less problems."
Agatha was not pleased with the fact she was so tired as she was. She was somewhat sweating, but not so much that it would require a shower just yet. She thought about going for another round to tire herself a bit out as she did not feel like looking around the school anymore as she would keep her map at all times. Suddenly a odd feeling struck her.
"What.. the.."
Agatha could feel a faint telekinetic print in her mind, someone have been there, but she did not know how far the person have gone into her mind. She hoped that they had not wandered to far within her mind. Yet she did not really mind someone that good at mind reading too read her mind. The way her parents treated her should not remain a secret.
She continued to sit in peace at the training facility, but she could easily feel the pressence of someone that was approaching her. She wondered if there was someone who was of interest of her or a random person that would just pass by. However she was willing to wait on the person to arrive before doing any fast decisions.
OOC: Missions are up in student handbook thread. I'll try to link in my sig later...
“Good Afternoon. I'm Raistlin Majere, Leader of the Disciplinary Committee. I want to wish you a good year, and issue you some advice. Keep your dog on a very short leash, or I will have to put him down. I don't want that narcissistic assclown making a mockery out of this school. I'll assume you know whom I'm speaking of.”
Stella watched in suprise as he teleported away. She had begun to regret taking her position.
Well. It was nothing urgent, but hearing what Raistlin said, i'd say that. Its been less that six hours since we started and it seems Orion stirred up some real mess. What do we do? Do you want me to go and mediate between the two groups?
"Well we could all straighten him out if he ever gets out of hand. I suppose the only reason he got the student council position in the first place was to be taught some responsibility and to stay out of trouble." Stella murmured before remembering her purpose.
"Anyway, besides the situation with Orion, is there anything you need us to take care of, Stella?"
"You're right Eliane. We don't have time to deal with him. The first thing is the blue sect escort missions. Tomorrow the newbies will be going out on mandatory missions but I don't know which of you wants to lead which. We also have to group the students and such. On another note there's the confusion of You and Orion Eliane. Neither of you have said if you represent the red or the blue sect! Esca-I mean Zee claimed black already!" Stella said all at once thinking.
"Also there was a problem with who's running the student shop but I fixed that! The new shop supplies will be shipped in tomorrow!" Stella continued. "Now I have to get the missions that 'assclown' is supposed to be getting me. If you wan't to help with other new students and such later on that would be fine with me!"
Driving up to the front gates of the Eureka Academy in her tricked out Viper SRT-10 , the girl called Nova flashed her temporary id-card and waited for the gates to recognize the tag inside it and swing open. Revving her engine while she waited to keep the raced tuned hemi from stalling out and turning up the volume, she loved this song, she drove to the teacher’s parking lot and parked the blood red car there. Pulling her luggage out of the trunk and passenger seat she pulled a car cover out of the trunk and covered the car with it, both to protect the pearl paint and the airbrushed on effect as to keep people from noticing her car was worth A LOT more then she should have been able to afford on her teacher’s salary. 20” forgeline ZX3S rims, toyo R888 tires, Audiobahn stereo, custom paint, body kit, the entire screamed “this cost money” to anyone who knows his or, in this gender neutral society, her cars.
“Well that was probably a waste of time…“ she mused on the act of covering her car since the people who would want to look at it would by now probably have gotten calls on their cellphones or emails with pictures and video sent to them. Well those people tended to know the rules of the car, so it would probably be safe enough, and for those who didn’t know the rules of the car… Well those could be dealt with aswell…
Grabbing her bag and a long angular locked case she walked to the main entrance. With that specific swaying walk of girls who know they are the best looking in girl in whatever room they happen to be in and don’t mind showing it off. Continuing her strut into the main lobby and up to the central reception, “Hello, I am here for that teaching position, I am Nova, I was told to report to one mister Jameson? Here is my letter…” She said looking at the good looking girl, well in any other company she would be considered stunning, who worked reception at the front desk while she slid the opened envelope over the counter. “It also said in the letter that a room had been prepared for me in the teacher’s dormitory somewhere? I was wondering where those were? I have some luggage I would like to store...”
“I don’t know where the teacher’s dorms are, I live in town. As for your luggage it would probably be easier to just carry that to Mister Jameson’s office, which by the way are on the 3rd floor second corridor to the left of the stairs and then its room N3.64, and then ask him where you need to put it and the like.” The girl behind the counter said with rather more venom then was polite, but then Nova was used to reactions like that. Downside to looking the way she did…
“Okay, 3rd floor, second corridor on the left of the stairs and then room N3.64, got it. Have a nice day…” She said turning on her heels before walking in that direction carrying her bag and that case.
The directions the reception girl had provided were easy enough to follow and she was seated in a chair opposite to Mister Jameson, a middle aged man who had, according to her 5 second judge of character, risen as far as he would on the corporate ladder and seemed to think he had a shot…
“As I said I am here for the position of teacher, I have my letter off acceptance here and was told to report to you for allotment of parking and living space.” She said with a very mildly flirty tone of voice. Just because he didn’t have a shot doesn’t mean it wouldn’t be easier to play him if he thought he did… “I picked one of the open spaces without a sign on the pole; I do hope that is alright? The girl downstairs at the counter told me that you would tell me where all the dorms and such is there a blue print of the campus with all the area’s? Wouldn’t like to get lost on my first week on the job and be late as a result…” She said affecting a very good version of the “girl lost in a strange place” persona…
“Eehm ofcourse those are available, didn’t they give you one downstairs? They should still have hundreds of those blue prints from the start of the school year… Your parking place will be no problem, just how did you get in the teachers parking anyways? That’s not supposed to be possible without an approved teachers credential… Ooh your credentials I almost forgot. Your rooms are in there, the dorm is mostly empty so pick any room you want as long as its empty…” he said pointing to a building on the map. “Feel free to discipline students as you see fit, there is a list of acceptable punishments in this binder which should tell you all you need to know about the school and your classes and the like. Also you will find a few copies of the form you need should you wish to plan fieldtrips or anything similar as well as the guidelines for those as far as what we need parental consent for. Anything else you need Miss? It is miss right?” he said sounding slightly flustered towards the end.
“Yes its miss and, no that will be all, I know where to find you or reach you if I get more questions at a later date…” Nova answered courteously, wondering if that very subtle inquiry was intentional or accident since she hadn’t figured him capable of such tact based on her 5 second judge of character.
Grabbing up her case and bag she waltzed back out of the office and down the stairs stopping only to bend over the counter to grab one of the blue prints she had hidden below the overhanging position to get the out of the way, leaving a rather bewildered looking girl behind her. “what, how, what?”
Sorting out her room took the better part of what was left of the day, her furnishings and all had all arrived when she had sent in advance. “Hmmm I need some groceries… I could walk down to the store… Or I could have them delivered…”
“Hey Atma, how are you doing? I have some groceries I need; I’ve sent you a list ooh and I need something to eat for tonight…” Nova called her ship’s computer…
“Okay list is received, orders have been placed at your favorite deli’s around the world and will be delived to your kitchen in 5, 4, 3, 2,”
“VZOOOOM”
“Ooh… Well they should be in your kitchen now… Guess my delivery time is less then I figured it would be. Don’t forget to get that stuff in the cooler or your Tajarini al tartufo will spoil again.”
“Hey thanks man, how’s everything in orbit? iMPALA working? Not more issues with traffic control up there?”
“Nope, we good to go up here… Kinda boring being back on earth and not exploring but it’s good to catch up with some of my buddies…”
“Hey, I gotta go, need to get some food going and then I’m gonna go explore the campus.”
“Okay well your pasta is getting cold. I’ll put some music on and then leave you in peace.”
He said before he turned off the transmitter.
“Well this is the life, Pasta with truffles cooked to perfection in Italy, a very fine Riesling wine from the Claire Valley in oz and … Die zauberflöte… Atma knows me to well…” She said carrying her food out onto her balcony, and watching the sunset over the local scenery. “Not the best sunset I have ever watched, but far from the worst either…” Nova mused as she refilled her glass with the very excellent white wine Atma had provided for her.
A full bottle of wine and a pitcher of white Russians from that excellent place in Tokyo, just what was that place called again? (OOC: it was nova’s primary club in the last rpg she was in on planet earth she was in before I left this forum I did the research at the time and found that to be “the” place to be at the time and the white Russians were supposedly awesome) Nova figured she had best postpone the scouting around for tomorrow…
And went to bed with a pleasurable buzz after taking a couple of aspirin and a glass of water to prevent the hangover from hell; since that would not be the best way to start a class at 0900 on your first day at a new job.
Raistlin had gotten the answer that he was looking for. Orion would call it quits for now, and Raistlin could figure out just how he works. And who knows, maybe he actually could make a friend. Though, he doubted, very seriously that Athena was going to enjoy this... At all. However, it was her idea. He needed to stop cracking down so hard and start treating students a little better. Raistlin was trying.
“Okay, Ladies. You heard the man. I think he gets the picture, and I'm sure it was all just a big misunderstanding. Let's go.” Raistlin then checked the online school bulletin on his cell, missions were now available. He signed up for defending some wagon, and taking out some monster at a fountain that appears occasionally. “Later, Orion. Do try to cook up some fun jobs this year.” He turned on his heel, and walked out the door. A slightly disturbing grin on his face.
"You're right Eliane. We don't have time to deal with him. The first thing is the blue sect escort missions. Tomorrow the newbies will be going out on mandatory missions but I don't know which of you wants to lead which. We also have to group the students and such. On another note there's the confusion of You and Orion Eliane. Neither of you have said if you represent the red or the blue sect! Esca-I mean Zee claimed black already!"
Eliane immediately said to Stella annoyed about the subject, "Then I will see about the blue sect. I already do not trust Orion with the newcomers." She sighed, then said, "At least the red sect knows a little better."
"Now I have to get the missions that 'assclown' is supposed to be getting me. If you want to help with other new students and such later on that would be fine with me!"
"So be it, once you're done Stella, get some time to start unpacking and get everything in order, else you're going to work yourself to death." With that, Eliane headed back up the stairs to finish her unpacking.
"Hey, if you want to talk and tell me your life story, then go right ahead."
At this, Crimson Wolf lowered his head and turned it to a side, then slowly closing his eyes, "Neither for me telling my life story, or for you hearing it, would it be fun..." he replied, opening his eyes before continuing on, "Best not dwell on that, at least not for now. And yes, I do realize you weren't being serious when you said it though, but inevitably it makes me think about it, my past..."
Now looking over at Ray, in response to "Nice to meet you Joey, as Crimson said, my name is Ray, and this is Ki." he said "Hope you didn't mind much that I sort of introduced you myself, he mentioned he was looking for two people, and the names were our own, so I just thought I would enlighten Joey."
"You guys can go check out the school, but I will be staying in here. There will more than likely be a big crowd looking around, and I would much rather go when the crowd is thinner than it will be today, ya know what I mean?" At this Crimson Wolf thought carefully about, finally simply saying calmly "Probably going to wait until it is less crowded too, today I would just feel like I would be getting in somebody's way."
Then finally there was his question that Ray answered, "To answer your earlier question, Me and Ki here, we're unseparable. We work together, we walk together, we play, we even fight together. The team we have is very strong, and it's mainly because we have been together as long as I can remember..." Crimson Wolf was glad to hear they seemed to be very close to each other, and made his comment on the response.
"Well, you two sound like you share a close bond with one another, and I am glad for it, the strong friendship between you and the Wolf will get you far, as I have no doubt it already has. So you seem to have a fondness for Wolves, perhaps we may become good friends, over time." he said, giving a warm smile, something he had done hardly ever, never really having been through the easiest past, some encounters not quite being exchanges of pleasantries such as this.
-Blade's POV-
Blade stepped off the ship, shaking off the last dregs of sleep. "Great.... Can't believe I fell asleep... Man, you would think a 500 year old spirit like myself wouldn't do that..." Among other mutterings that were mostly to wake himself up, Blade began trudging towards the black sect rooms to toss his stuff up.
*passage of time*
Upon arriving, Blade tossed his stuff onto his bed and looked around. Better quarters then the inns he used to sleep in during his stint as a mercenary. Well, that made his life a bit easier. He shrugged, walking over to the computer and logging on and stuff. "Cool, mission board. Let's see... Orion, huh? Well, I guess I'll go on that one." After signing up for the escort wagon, he looked around and found a second one that made him smile. "Beast hunting. Just like the good old days."
Signing up for the Fountain Nest Clear mission as well, he signed off, not noticing who else was on, and checked the daylight. It was getting dark. "Great. Better go talk to Raistlin before I get chewed out..." Muttering once more, Blade left his room and headed out for the meeting room for the Committee, donning his yellow blazer.
-at the meeting room-
Blade entered and looked around. No one was there yet, so he decided he was early. That, or the others got held up with something. He walked over to the 4th chair since the other had names on them, stuck his spear into the chair, climbed up the spear, and sat on the spear in a meditative position.
Ray was relaxing and had heard the response Crimson had to say...
"Well, you two sound like you share a close bond with one another, and I am glad for it, the strong friendship between you and the Wolf will get you far, as I have no doubt it already has. So you seem to have a fondness for Wolves, perhaps we may become good friends, over time."
So Ray responded with, "It's not just wolves, it's any animal out there. Every single animal I can think of is beautiful to me, no animals ever deserve to be mistreated at all. But I do hope we become friends." Ray gave off a gentle and kind smile.
Ray began to remove his arms from the back of his head and he took his gauntlets off. "I suppose I'm staying in for the night then. It's getting late and tomorrow is the first day. G'night Crimson and Joey, nice meetin' ya." Ray covered himself in the blankets and closed his eyes, setting to fall asleep. Kisharu curled up by Ray's feet and also started to sleep, but not without letting out a big sigh beforehand.
--------Arukab-------
Arukab had just arrived, a bit later than he should have, but it wasn't all that important, since today all the students were only finding dorms and getting acquainted. Arukab headed right for his classroom to set everything up the way it was every year. He would be teaching melee combat and defenses, and he was the perfect teacher for this class, since he bore the gift of Pegos.
