Umm...that Pig Tailed girl, whatever she's called nowadays. 
She just seems to have more about her...but isn't it slightly early to start discussing favourite characters?

on looks and videos ive seen so far i have to go with this character from final fantasy versus, basically he has the look of what cloud from FF7 was supposed to look like, as they were originally gonna give him black hair but thought it looked to dark for the main protaganist and made him a blonde instead, and instead gave Zack black hair
i also like the whole dark and brooding type, normally means they've had a troubled and emotional past, take Vincent and Squall for instance, both of them have interesting backgrounds and their all black and dark. but atm im just judging books by there covers, i wont know till i actually play the game, he could turn out to ba an arse

Lightning looks as fast as speed itself. Alright and Sera is a summoner right someone plz answer because she summoned carbuncle. Anyways my fav is Probably lighning or Sera.
Mine would be have to be Stella 
I think it's cool how she is actually fighting against the main character, instead of with him. That said, it's pretty obvious she's going to switch to Noct's side at some point, but that just makes the story more interesting imo. I also really like the meaning behind her name.
If I have to pick one from XIII, I guess I'll go with Lightning. The main this that I like about her is that she's not just another damsel-in-distress type of heroine and can kick-ass by herself without the help of a man.

I also find Noctis a bit interesting because he looks powerful and dark with cool eyes and outfit. He is a prince but I think after he fights Stella, Stella will go to his side and maybe later she will betray him and start her own army or something. But Yes Noctis and Stella remain mysterious.

It's either Snow or Noctis for me, both look like really cool people but but Noctis seems like a guy who only talks when he has to and he has a dark aura about him.
Where as Snow seems like a character who will be buzzing about all the time and never shut up, but thats why i like him.

Mine so far is Lightning, she looks awesome and kick a$$, and snow too Well since the game isn't out yet I can't really say who is yet but its between Lightning, Snow and Stella (She looks like Aerith!)
It's hard for me to choose a character without playing the game... because usually when I think I'll love a character, I hate them. And when I think I'll hate a character, they end up being my favorite. (That was the case for Ashe and Penelo. xD)

For some reason I find Lightning has the hottest legs of the Final Fantasy girls lol. I do not know why but does it look like she does or is it just my imagination? Yeah I hope Lightning does not act like Cloud though.
She most likely will, with looks to match, I think it'll be cool if she acts like Cloud.Whats wrong with Cloud anyway? I'm going to like her even more if she does act like him, Those kinds of characters tend to be my favorite and to be very popular, I hope she doesn't act like Squall though I'll die of Embarrassment!

It can get a bit predictable with a male lead that probably look more feminine than Lightning. With Lightning I think the plot and her back story be a bit more unpredictable.
Snow looks quite a cool character as well. He reminds me of Barret or Balthier both of which are probably some of my favourite characters.

Lol? Well, I'm pretty sure there will be one... Or so i believe. It seems from Final Fantasy IV onwards, there began to be non-human characters. (FFIV- Cecil, Lunarian , FFV- Galuf, from some a different world accessible via meteors, FFVI- Terra, Half-Esper, FFVII- Aerith, Cetra etc etc)
Anyways, my favourite character so far is Lightning. Good to have a female protagonist from time to time.
