FF7 a very good game how about the graphics

Graphics were ok for me, although I absolutely love the storyline. The graphics wasn't what lured me to play the game in the first place. I've never even heard of Final Fantasy until I saw FFVII, and when I played it, I was in love with it.

I'm not gonna lie...
If they made a Cait Sith spinoff, I would probably be the first person to play it.:X
He's just too cute. <3

I'm so scared that if they remade FFVII they would do something utterly horribly stupid that would shun me away forever. :sad2:

Graphics don't mean anything to me. IV is my favorite Final Fantasy, and those graphics are crap even for SNES standards. What matters to me is the story, the characters, and the game play. Sure it can be awkward when you play a game with awesome graphics and then immediately go to an SNES game or and early PS1 game. But you get used to the graphics pretty quickly.

X had great graphics, but I didn't think that game was all that great. I thought the story could have been really good, but when I finished the game I just had that feeling like it had been thrown together quickly and they forgot to add things to it. Also several characters from VI and VII were much better developed characters in their games, especially VI.

I think many of the game makers forget that they are creating RPGs and not a pretty CGI fest.

I only got to play a little bit into FFVI, but I completely agree with you.
From what I gathered, every single one of the characters had their own lengthy past which is emphasized in the game. Such as Locke's ex girlfriend...or...wife? I forget.
They all have a great story behind them.

Same goes for FFVII.

The graphics maybe crap, especially on an LCD TV, but the game still keeps me hooked for hours on end and I still love it, the gaming industry could learn a few lessons from games like FFVII
