FF7 - over-rated or under-rated?

I think the last few years it has lost its glory and it's not anymore in its prime.
A few years ago it was overrated I must agree,but now I'm feeling people are starting to forget it maybe with the new generation of players.
But underrated?No way,you can always see it in RPG lists in the 10 ten,so definitely not.
