I AM YOUR FINAL FANTASY
Im really enjoying FFXIII, and cannot wait for the sequel, but i can say from the trailers ive seen lightning isnt on her own

I enjoyed a fairly good portion of the game, though I hate it for its linearity (I was expecting something more after what XII brought so yeah). Let's hope XIII-2 has something good in the making to deliver on the level I'd expect XIII to be.

Snow has not made any new appearance in any trailer or screenshot. The one you saw was probably the flashback scene in the older trailer. It's confirmed that snow will eventually show up though.

Couldn't see your thumbnails but looked at the site. Scenery looks similar, liking the compound on Serah..and it transforms.. surprising >_>

I knew he was gonna have a long sleeve shirt this time around. Though I would like to see a good profile shot soon, this'll make some people happy. Others not so much haha. Either way his development in FFXIII means he'll most likely be braver now.

Oh come on dude, surely you've found a better weapon by now. 
And why am I imagining him with a PSICOM helmet now all of a sudden? On a more optimistic note, at least he will be a lot more tolerable this time round thanks to the magic of character development in a previous game. Maybe he can even have a badass moment this time round that can impress even me?

Oh come on dude, surely you've found a better weapon by now.
And why am I imagining him with a PSICOM helmet now all of a sudden? On a more optimistic note, at least he will be a lot more tolerable this time round thanks to the magic of character development in a previous game. Maybe he can even have a badass moment this time round that can impress even me?
At this point I expect his introduction to be badass, or at least attempted to be so, likely involving a rescue and/or beating of someone else. Square DOES want to depart from the last game, after all.
It wouldn't surprise me to see Hope in some sort of established police/millitary force, in an effort to grow and do some good (since, presumably, that is what PSICOM and police forces are doing now).

It'd give him a little more edge. Unfortunately Hope was one of the characters I could not stand in the first game. Hopefully this time around he won't be so whiny, and actually be useful to my party. I hate how this trailer is also pretty much a rehash of everything we've already saw. I'd like them to put a little more emphasis on Lightning since the first trailer when I thought this game would be all about her in this new dark world. I was really looking forward to kicking major ass in some underworld as a strong badass character on their own. I am losing all my excitement for this game the more I see Serah, and Noel.

Lighting's Armor Is similar to that of a Valkyrie, Dont know why but Im sure that has something to do with the story, cause based on what Valkyries are used for and what they do, it could lead to some answers on a few things surrounding her.
Some characters look like their going to be exactly same judging by how Team Nora looks exactly the same. Based on what they did with Serahs outfit and such Im actually alittle worried with what they might do to some of the characters. Sazh is one that can be changed,Hope I think needs a change cause 3 years he shouldnt still be looking that at least outfit wise. Snow I wouldnt mind him staying the same, if they change him it might really mess his overall look I think. Vanille and Fang should stay the same not only cause Im worried about them messing them up but it also makes sense since their locked up in crystal stasis and their not gonna age,get a change of clothes,etc So they should stay the same.

I'm so happy Liam O'brian is doing voice work in this game. When I heard Caius in English, I was squeeing so much, lol.

Those who’ve been jealous over Europeans and their two flashy collector’s editions for Final Fantasy XIII-2 can now put any ill feelings aside, as North Americans are getting one as well.
The CE will be available in limited qualities through Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop and each will also offer retailer-specific pre-order bonuses – but we’ll get to that in a minute.
With the CE, the packaging features lovely artwork from Yoshitaka Amano and inside you will find a 4-disc soundtrack, a 20-page art book featuring concept art, the game disc, and a manual. It is similar to the Crystal Edition on offer in Europe, only it’s missing the FFXIII-2 t-shirt, which you will likely be able to purchase on eBay at some point for $god.

Oh gosh this makes me wish I'd pre-ordered Crystal instead of the Limited Edition... Having said that, The Limited Edition was priced at £40, the same as the standard game, whilst Crystal was double that at £80... It just looks rather incredible. 
So I'm not the only one stoked for this game right?

DI'm really looking forward to this, mainly due to the fact that they've gotten rid of all of the (gameplay) faults I had with this game, and perhaps the story will be somewhat better....

The gameplay does look to improve tremendously on FF 13 and I'm loving what they've shown. The story...well we'll have to wait and see, considering we dont really know that much right now, which is of course how it should be.
I have the gameinformer that featured an exclusive on FF 13-2 but I'm not sure they printed anything worthy of the title spoiler. Aside from somewhat spoiling the end of FF13.
