Final Fantasy 15 Ideas!

I think characters are what matters the most. I think you could put characters like Zidane, Dagger, and Vivi in a final fantasy VII type world it would be a great game. The reason why FVIII wasn't great IMO was because of the characters. I think whether its future or in the past they need characters that we actually like. Give us a completely sick Zidane/Cloud like main character but someone that doesn't look girly. I mean the dude doens't have to be ugly but he should at least look like a guy. Have a girl like Yuna but brunette so no one notices. Also I think you have the story light at first like a simple plot that you will accomplish easy then half way throw everyone off and have the main plot start. Last but not least GIVE US A VILLAIN!!!!! I want a villain that absolutely disgusts people. I want people absolutely hating the villain for destroying towns and stuff like that. If you can't say you hated Vayne or the guy from 13 you can't possibly think they did there job making a villian.

here r my ideas for an ff15 i want them to go back to basics with a male protagonist and the party members has to include at least one big boobed ass kicker for the pervy fanboys, at least one furry for the furry fans, at least one trigger happy goof off for the gun nuts, an emo bishie to serve as a romantic rival for the hero also i suppose something for fangirls to obsess over, a loli for those who have a loli fetish, a hyperactive knucklehead chickie for the fanboys who love that kinda girl and make the hero have either a bigass sword or a gunblade the latter is epic awesome though would never work in real life and as for the setting i do agree with earlier posts that it needs to be more of a medieval setting but with steampunk elements also no more futuristic scifi worlds we definately need rideable chocobos and a kickass airship and we definately need some sort of romantic subplot and a kickass villian and we need summons not eidolons not aeons but SUMMONS no other names would cut it with me as for the music we need it done by nobuo uematsu not this new guy who did a horrible job on 13 and we need some sort of cool minigames like cards and/or chocobo breeding and/or chocobo racing yes i know i sound like i'm pitching ideas that have been done to death but y mess with a good thing i'm not comfortable with change besides y change what has worked so well over the years well i suppose that's all i have to say about that

:hmmm:

Since most FF games are about youth forging a revolution against tyranny, I would want a different approach to FFXV. One big idea I would want to see is the main character being an older hero. Someone that has been through a lot and has basically seen it all. But one more quest is to be done. Something like that would interest me greatly. FF games tend to break the mold usually through just gameplay, but I want them to just take an entire game and try something out of their norm.

Hm...

I'd like to see the return of a quadraped, or a non-human. This class makes up some of my favorite characters: RedXIII, Vivi, Terra (hey, half esper).

I'd like the return of the job class system in which each character has their own specific set of abilities. This allows for more of a strategic battle setting in which you must carefuly select and develop your characters in order to have an efficient team.

World map...air ships...must happen.

Moogles, Chocobos, and other trademark characters must make a comeback. FFIX had a great thing with the moogle-mail system, and the chocobo sidequests were fun in that game too. I also loved racing and raising chocobos in FFVII.

Sidequests and hidden characters must also happen, but not to the extent that it did in FFXII where the game was 98% hunts. :D

in other words u'd like to see the return of furry characters

I want a Kinda Triple world Motif.

A Fairy Type world with Magic and Kingdoms.

A normal World that Mirriors Earth. With Guns and Armies.

A Dark world where Evil and its Peoples have been Sealed off

The plot would be that Magic world,Normal World,Evil world are three seperate worlds. When someone in the normal world Unlocks the binds to the world All hell breaks loose.

Humans Wage war on the Fairys/Magical beings while the evil world attempts to take over both of them. World collide and only 6 people can save it.

Two "Normal people" Two "Magical people" and two rebellious "Dark people"

you would travel between All three world attempting to make peace and Untagle the mess that the worlds have gotten themsleves into.

Mean while a Higher being(AKA God) attempts to use the Turmoil as a way to bring everyone from the world underneath its control...

Give FF15 a Job system with the older jobs, like White Mage and Monk!

Yeah, that would be a good idea. I liked what they tried to do in FFX-2 with it, the gameplay of FFX-2 was more than worthy of being from a main series game, let alone a spin-off.

I think FFXV should be very respectful of its predecessors, almost like a throwback FF kind of like FFIX was.

I'll like it to have moogles and chocobos, and have the chocobo breeding system and racing that VII had. It was very fun and entertaining and it increased the levels of playtime by massive amounts.

- the player would control the airship and let the player explore the world. Have towns and cites and let the player explore the world by foot and other things, like cars, boats, submarines, anything creative, but add adventure and freedom into the game.

- Also the lead man shouldn't look like he should be a female. Add some medium black hair to him, and some muscles, and a heavy sword and gun. Let him be tough, but still have a sensitive side, in his personality, not his looks...

- Also a male white sage. It shouldn't be the "pretty girl who gets the guy" role everytime. Let him be a doctor, like Minwu from Final Fantasy 2.

- Get rid of the Squall Leonhart, Lighting, Cloud Strife stereotype. Not every Final Fantasy character should be related to Cloud or Squall's persona.

-No FMV every two seconds, and keep the original battle system. Not everybody likes random battles, but it was part of the old Final Fantasy system. And our memories.

-Have the option of voice actors or the old retro text box, and a option of Japanese with subs, or American english.

-Bring back the mini games, like the motorbike, dragon fighting, card games, theme parks and snowboarding that the older games had. They were really fun.

-No storyline about politics or set it in the Tactics world. Set it in Gaia. Also don't try and make the story too realistic. This is Final FANTASY, for crying out loud.

-Don't make the theme song be sang by Brittany spears or Tina Turner or something like that. Let the song be sang like Eyes on Me was, or Melodies of life. Those were beautiful.

-No MMO !

As much as i want ff15 to have Junctioning or Sphere grid either one of them it probably won't. Enix don't get too "Into It" as Squaresoft but i really want 15 to have a good storyline, likeable characters, more characters instead of just 6 characters there should be as many as there are on 6, (14 i think) As many side-quests/missions as 10 and 12 put together plenty of stuff to do basically, a long game and a battle system like 9 or 10. However i heard 15 will be another mmorpg even though 14 was. So, if that's true we have to wait like 3 years for a 'decent' ff game.

I just want something with turn based battle, or whatever system X was. After the battle system in XIII, I think it would be appropriate to go back to turn based.

To me, Square Enix's problem is that they have alienated the hardcore fans and the mainstream fans by continually pushing for a break with tradition. Innovation and origonality are musts and a staple of Final Fantasy but the previous games always found a balance between progress and tradition as well as variety and harmony in it. Now, it seems Square Enix has lost that, because now the games, while still good, are first:
1. Not as good as previous ones
2. Not like a RPG in a way [becoming too action-like]
3. Too much rehashing
4. Too much sci-fi in recent titles
5. Lackluster villains in recent games mostly

What I want:
1. Return to a more traditional, fantasy/medevial setting
2. Oldschool battle system
3. Well-developed characters each with unique backgrounds, stories, personalities, and motivations
4. Multiple races
5. Strong voicacting for all characters
6. A truly developed and nefarious main villain who not only inspires fear in the player but the characters too
7. A world map
8. Less linear than FFXIII but not completly nonlinear
9. A soundtrack incporporating multiple musical genres
10. An engaging story featuring ideas, concepts and plot elements that have never been used before
11. A unique artistic design/style with a wide variety of enviroments and cities [like Final Fantasy XII]

I really like the futuristic worlds they use but the next game being in a medieval type world would be refreshing since IX was the last one to do that. Also I want more than six characters since the parties now are just being split into three men and three women all the time now. I know taking it back to the same number of characters like in VII and IX means it won't be equal but at least you don't have all the characters in the first few hours.

I hope they bring back the world map with a Final Fantasy V level scale, although I think you should only be able to travel through airship or boat (or maybe dragon?) because I would really hate to see the whole town-dwarfing thing in this generation.

I'd like an identifiable and extremely powerful antagonist, like in VI, VII and X where its like "... How am I gonna beat this guy?".

I actually liked 13's battle system. Also 12's. I really don't like turn-based.

We also need the World Map. Really, BRING IT BACK.

So, we all basically want a perfect FF game for the XV. A game that can please all fans... mhmm... since I've seen that many fans they always have a FF they dislike/hate for any reason. FFVI? FFVII? FFVIII? FFIX? FFX? FFXIII? These games they all have their haters in small or big groups, each game different from each other... to find a game that could fit all fans's demands... huh... I dunno, that can be pretty much impossible. Square Enix can make great games, but they will never be able to please every fan (okay, XIV was really a big screw-up, I think we all agree), because the perfect game doesn't really exist.

For FFXV, I just want Squeenix to surprise me, in a good way. I'm not a most reliable person if it's about judging a gameplay, cuz I just worry about playing, enjoying and the story, nothing else. FFXV should just be a game worth playing, regardless how much the gameplay changes or stays the same.

-More access to world map and use of airships
- No more futuristic, have something like a setting of combination of WWII and steampunk setting/world(Or a mixture of 1700's piracy age and Nazi Germany)
- Certain events in the storyline more inclined in true events(eg. Cuban Missile Crisis, French Revolution)
- Unpredictable antagonist
- Non-linear storyline, more character-development focus, with different POV's that will explain the story
-Bring either oldschool or FFXII-style gameplay
- More side missions/unlockables/secret and alternative scenes
- Male White Mage and a female sky pirate as protagonists
- Realistic enemies and boss fights(eg. Drug Lords, Corrupt politicians/Clergy/Businessmen)
- I would like to see more of life-threatening conflicts in a storyline rather than a personal one

Final Fantasy XV wishlist

So what do you guys want to see in FFXV? What type of hero? Male or Female? Possible Storyline? etc.

1. Proper Diverse Characters ( Some Examples )

Having 1 or 2 characters with some sort of different mentality is ok. Having all of NPCs with different characters = crazy for us. for example:
FF7: main character had depression problems, rest of the world simply acted accordingly to them trying to survive. (fantastic)

FF8: main character had again denial or depression problems due to his past. Zell was hyperactive. rest of characters were not excessively over the top. (again perfect)

FF10: started to get weird with many characters being overly different but still was great game. Tidus acted according to being a star. Yuna was ok. Auron was the cool character of the game (allways need one), Wakka wasthe wacko of the game, Lulu was the wrist slitter of the game, Khimary the second coolest character with overprotective issues to Yuna and Rikku the sexy but annoying character of the game. still great game, the story was fantastic and not TOO much to handle.

2. Castomisable gear

Like in FF7, the more a player has to discover and do the more he will enjoy playing the game. Or the FF8 defence/offence system was amazing with abilities and elementals.

3. Materias
Bring back the materias. they were amazing and allowed you to make your character more to what you wanted instead of following a strait line. Less borring that way.

4. Bring back the good old summoning when and where i can.

5.Vdeo and cut-scenes with amazing graphics like always

6. World Map
I am sure that with technology now days they can make the graphics of a world map amazing. FF8 is probably the best i can think of.

So i would like to know what do the forums have to say for their wishlist ;)

1. Quality

2. Simplicity

3. Charm

4. An effective sense of adventure

5. A decent pace

6. A sincere attempt at telling a fun and clever story

7. A sense of freedom and choice

8. A unique and satisfying experience

I basically want everything that 9 had... except with a different world, story, and characters of course xD.
One thing that I'd really like to see is a non-white/asian/whatever-race-they're-supposed-to-be protagonist. Perhaps maybe a half black protagonist for once...? And don't make him/her look so stereotypical like Barret or Sazh (a chicken that lives in his afro? seriously?)
Oh and I'd LOVE to see a love story between two guys.... Heck, maybe even make one of the guys not feel the same way for the other to make it even more interesting o.o

Also, I kinda feel like Final Fantasy XV should be the FINAL Final Fantasy xD.
I really want all of the "oldies" working with Square from the good ol' days to come back. Like Sakaguchi and Uematsu. I think that Square should work on XV for as long as they need... just so that they can sort of 'perfect' the game. There have been so many FF games, and even though they're all amazing they do definitely have their flaws. XV should be Square showing that they've learned a lot from all of the previous titles, and they should end the Final Fantasy series with a perfect game that will be known by all gamers.

But even I know that I'm wishing for way too much xD.
