There will most likely be a few different colours, just like the current skin we have has; black, cyan and purple. =]

]I actually wouldn't mind something like the Eloquent style that can be seen in the OP's link. As much as I like Seamus, the light text on dark background hurts my eyes
Something with a light background just sounds more comfortable to me. But if nobody else wants it, maybe I should just dig into Greasemonkey and do some tweaking of my own. Come to think of it, I'm not sure why I never did that before
@Mitsuki well I'm just playing around with stuff right now and trying to figure out all the different CSS elements, but here's an idea of what could be done based on what I've figured out so far:

What I found quite by accident is that my eyes suffer less if the background around the posts is lighter, even if the posts retain the same color scheme. If I can figure out the CSS for post bodies I still intend to lighten them somewhat for my own purposes, but I think a sort of reverse light/dark theme could look nice and avoid the custom font color issues. Reverse, as in the norm is to have a dark background with light content, but a light background with dark content can look very sophisticated IMO. But the real appeal for me is that it cuts down on the melting retinas for those of us with sensitive eyes
Wow, that looks really nice. Did you edit via Firefox's greasemonkey then?
I'd be willing to pitch in with the CSS work if having more hands working on the project is what it takes. I'm no expert and I've never worked with VBulletin before (other than my experiments which I posted about earlier) but with Google at my side I can handle myself. In theory it should be easy to have a theme-dependant default font color, if that's the main issue. And I for one am fine with a light theme being a secondary user experience (i.e. user defined font colors not going well with a lighter theme). The dark theme could be default, with the light theme an optional, use-at-your-own-risk deal.
