How old were you when you played your first Final Fantasy?

i was 11. a friend let me borrow Final fantasy for nes. i couldn't afford a super nintendo and when he got one he loaned me all his nes games. i was hooked from the start of playing it. it was the only game i played for a long long time after that. until i got a play station and got VII, then as the nintendo ones go re-issued for ps1 i would get them as well.
 
I've watched my brother-in-law play FF8 since around 7years old! And the first FF that I played was FF8 when I was 9 and it was on my first console: the PS1 =) Proud to be a FF fan! =)
 
Man, that's a good question. I remember first seeing the trailer for FF7 on one of the original demo discs that came with the PS1. I remember watching the trailer and getting goosebumps just thinking how amazingly epic FF7 looked. I knew I wanted this game so I went to the local second hand shop and I bought FF7 and i think it was only about £15, I know it didn't cost a lot.

This was around 1998 or 1999 when I was about 11 years old.

I was 9-11 Cant really recall and my first final fantasy was VII. I tried it because of memories of my older brothers playing it.
It must have been around 2004-2006. After those I played 8 9 AND 10 in order
 
My brothers got FF7 when i was seven but i didnt really play it i just watched as my eldest brother played the game. I started playing FF10 when i was 10 and I replayed it a bunch of times after that. I've worked my way backwards from FF10. :D Even though FF7 wasnt the first game a played it was what got me into Final Fantasy cause it was just so AWESOME!!!
 
I was about 8 when FF4 was available on the SNES and my brother played it core and would let me hang with him while he played lol He said if I wanted to participate he would name Kain after me and let me read for other characters. We ended up spending a few days of rain at the cottage playing and we continued this theme in other games until I could play my own files and eventually after other games came into the mix I was able to read at a 12th grade level because of video games at a very young age. I told my teachers that and they just about died laughing.
 
I was 9 when I first played Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy VII was the first one that I had played, and it was my brother's. Since I was 9, I didn't really understand much about it at all, but I still loved to play it. I replayed it when I was 13, and I understood it. That's why I like FF 7, because it introduced me to the Final Fantasy Series and what not.
 
My first FF was FF7, i was eight years old at the time. I couldn't play it much though because i lost at the scorpion fight and my cousins didn't let me play more because of that loss. They didn't trust me with their files for whatever reason, i eventually bought the game myself and beat it before they did.​
 
My first Final Fantasy was FF7 and I was like 6 years old...or almost 7 I can't remember which and we not long had a Playstation one and we bought like Tomb Raider and Croc (haha legend of a game) and my brother went in and came out with FF7 and my first response was like why have you bought the 7th in the series :S:S
 
i was 13 when FF VII came out. WOW that was an epic Game blow my Soul to Space. NEVER NEVER feelt this again by an game

I fucking love FF VII i am 30 years now an i am still playing
 
I was like nine or something when I got my first Final Fantasy game: Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. I played that shit for hours when I was in Jamaica 'cause honestly there was like nothing else to do--it was either that or study. But yeah that game was pretty beast, I remember getting as far as that vampire boss thing. I think it was like the third to last boss or something in the game and my Marche was a badass Fighter. I just rolled straight through it. My team was: a Viera Sniper with some Deathbow or whatever it was called, a Human white mage (male obvs.), a Black Mage nu mou, Montblanc, who was also a Black mage, and a Monk bangaa whom I adored. I gave him some pretty badass equips too but I so wasn't prepped for that fight against that vamp thing, I got my ass handed to me. I think I still have the game laying around somewhere in my room.
 
I think probably 9 or 10, it was Final Fantasy 7. and I only discovered it because my uncle was a fan and he let me borrow it and I kept it haha and then later I Became a huge FF nerd and played all of them.
 
I was about 7, we got the PS One with Gran Turismo, Crash and Final Fantasy 7. I still remember not knowing what roman numerals were so I used to call it V 2... haha I realized when i was about 9 it was 7 :D. Oh to be young again, Im now 21 still playing this game because I think it's one of the most amazing games. My sister got me into Final Fantasy 8 when i was about 10, followed the series ever since.
 
I believe I was about 12 or 13 years old. And it was FFX. Though my dad did have a Final Fantasy game on the Game Boy that I played for a bit as child. I believe it was Mystic Quest. So that may or may not be considered my "first" FF. I usually just say it was FFX cause that was the first one I played the whole way through.
 
If I remember well, I was 8 when I played a Final Fantasy game for the first time. The game was Final Fantasy VII. I remember playing the demo of FFVII's and the next day I asked my cousin to buy it for my birthday.
 
IMy first game was ff=8ff8 was my first. However ff7 although graphics wise didnt appeal to me it was still entertaining. Then i looked for previous games in which i can only find ff1-3 only to realiize theyre technically ff1, 4, and 6. Still games were entertaining.
 
I got FF7 when FF8 came out LOL i was 7.
The drawings where awesome but i didnt know english back then xD.
