My first order of buisness as CEO of SE would be to make a FFVII remake. Re-hire Nobuo Uematsu with an extreamly large salery. Make a real FF game, instead of the crap that's been coming out lately. Fire and personally execute the person who made the chocobo sidequest in FFX
I agree but what's up with the FFX chocobo racing game...........I love chocobo's............and did Nobuo Uematsu leave over pay?
He left because they moved the office into a different location and he wasn't comfortable with it. It ultimately affected his work.
It doesn't matter whether he's working for Square or not, he could easily be hired as a freelancer, which is what Square is doing by the bye. Uematsu was one of three composers to work on FFX. He was also one of three to compose the score for FFXI. The reason why he didn't do the score for XII is because the original director wanted Sakimoto to do it. Regarless, he wrote Kiss Me Goodbye. He did the full score for Advent Children -and- he did the full score for FFXIV.
Actually, XIII had chocobo's in it. You just had to do a bunch of stuff to get them, which I thought was kinda stupid.

Oh you don't know about versus (not out yet).................since you don't know about it you have got to se the trailer on youtube............Some people are tipping it to be one of the best FF game.............Honestly can't believe you didn't know............but you HAVE got to see the trailer.

I would change the name back to Squaresoft, bring back some of their ideas, and pretend like I never made Drakengard. After that, I'd tell Microsoft to kiss my ass, not give FF online games a number, remake FF5 & FF6 on the PSP and utterly refuse to make any more remakes out of respect of the other games themselves.
If I were boss @ Square, I think one of the biggest issues is having too few people working on too many projects at one time. I would:
1) Take on only 3 major titles at a time 1 for the major console platforms, 1 for the portable devices (psp, DSI, etc...) 1 for the cell phones (seem as though that has gotten pretty popular)...that way they don't continue to piss people off by announcing a project and end up completing it some 5 or 6 years later *Cough Versus Cough*
and don't pick up a whole bunch of other projects until your main 3 are done.
2) Be collaborative with their game base....by polls on their website or whatever (a forum even) because people were not happy with FFXIII and to be able to get an idea of what people want you have to ask them, not just throw whatever you think is good or what you want in a game at them and automatically expect them to like it...
I can't think of anything else, but I think those are my two beefs with Square that I would try and fix. Other than that

I'm a chick...but even if I were a testosterone-driven dude....even teh boobz wouldn't have been able to save that one
However, at least I'm not the only one that thinks they could be doing things a little better. I still hold hope for Versus...whenever that title graces my ps3.

But even if they did have chacters showing parts of their bodies,I don't think it would of made any difference to how much the game sold.

I know FF characters are beautiful........but even with a sexy Final Fantasy many people would just see the game wiered and a bit gay.
And also if characters did just show parts of their bodies it wouldn't make much different to weather you like the game or not.
You don't spend your money on re-buying a game just because you can see extra parts of their bodies like what L said.
