I find these a bit simple.... but yet I think it quiet effective XD

I defo still need to practice effects.. I need to learn some new background techquies :)

here is a sig request I made

DarkLordSephiroth66Request.png

I really would'nt mind comments on this one.. this was my first one with a image that had a background already (not rendered)

I think it too simple :( needs more i think

Here is my latest creation :D

EmogirlAvatar.png

BatGirlSig.png

I liked the background on this one and I adore the text effect i added :) but I don't think the render is blended in well also that hand on the avatar... ewwww XD

Also just incase you didn't know.. i'm now part of Dreamweavers :D

I like the way the colours suit the render, and the watery ripple effect you have going in the background is different too.

However, like you said, the render is not blended in at all, and I think maybe the width of the tag should be reduced a little because there is too much space in the tag, it diverts the attention from the focal, which can be distracting.

It's not too shabby, keep it up :)

that was quick :D

yh i think the size needs to be a bit smaller :/ and yh no blending i failed at that XD

I might retry it again tomorrow to try and get blending and to make it smaller :)

Again, I can't thank you enough for the Sig. :freehugs:

On the simple comment, sometimes simple is a good thing.

I retried the sig i made a few days ago this morning. i tryed a different blending method as well as making it smaller :D

Comment please :D

here are two sigs i made from a request by Mosh

MoshRequest2.png

MoshRequest1.png

I like the second one but again it simple... the first one i think i made a few mistakes with blending

Not bad actually. Considering the skill you're at, it's not too shabby. I think the motion blur should be flipped horizontally. You can do that by doing the following:EDIT>FLIP HORIZONTAL.

I think the text should be removed until you get a solid feel of what direction you need to go. I think there are too many dots around.

All-in-all, it's not too bad. Keep up the good work. (y)

This one is quite cute.

I like how all the colours go together with the image.

The text is small and cute and I like the glow on it that makes it stand out nicely.

I think if you added a border it would round it off nicely. =)

thank you... i think your the first person who gave me almost all good comments :wacky:

yh i needed to add a border :) also i think blending could of have been better :)

but thank you for the comments :)

A Request I did for SummonerAmaterasu (AKA Connor) Over the Weekend

ConnorSigRequest.png

I like the background but me thinks blending failed Again XD also I think the text is hard to see due to the blur I added into the Image :gonk:

This one is nice. =)

Pretty colours and I like how the background is blurred so that you focus on Yuna more.

The only things I can point out is what you have already mentioned. The text is a bit hard to read. Try making it a larger size, as I think it'll take up a bit more space over in that emptier looking section on the left. =) And the blending around her hair seems to stick out a bit.

I think Yuna's face is a little too pink like the background as well. Don't want her to blend in too much so that we can't see her. =P

Other than that it's a sweet piece. My favourite image of Yuna. =)

haha i gone from blending too little to too much XD

hmm i guess i just need to turn down with the adjustment layers i was just having a play around with different things XD

I really need to go for a hunt for new fonts at some point :) It didn't help that the blur was over the text... i think i should blured the image before adding the text and yh the text could do with being a little bigger

thanks for the comments :D

I loved the Lighting some people use on here in their sigs.. so I read about it and gave it a try :D

YunaSig-1.png

This one turnt out quiet good the only thing I had a tough time was making yuna brighter in the places where the light was :D

EDIT: opps forgot to sharpen XD i added sharpen and reuploaded it :D you can compare the two and decide which one is bettter :)

Hi there.

My first time posting in this thread so I'll just comment on your evolution from my point of view.

Your first banners were ok as beginner banners. The renders were well-done but they didn't fit in the background because of both colour disharmony. But you've improved really fast. :) You use pretty cool effects now, and the background color and and font not only fit in but seem to complement the character sometimes. Especially the last two banners where you've been using two separate background colours. They flow well with Yuna's colours. I especially like the soft look you gave to Yuna in your second-last banner.

So, in short, there's still room for improvement, but keep the excellent work up! :D

These two pieces are my favorite yet. Despite working a very large canvas, which I should suggest you working on smaller canvases. Probably around 400x200, like my current signature.

Anyways, the use of color on these two are spectacular. I kinda notice it has the same color tones to the sig I made you, or pretty close to that. The background also works well with the whole thing, now if you can move on to working with stock images as backgrounds, I highly suggest you do.

Great work :busta:
