Dance In The Vampire Bund -
Watched yesterday, finished it and loved it. While the quality I had wasn't that much, I pretty much preferred it over the uncensored version, like honestly. Mina's transformation looks a lot better censored. I've seen a lot of negative comments on this anime which made me hesitate watching it, until I saw a trailer. I said this actually looks cool, guess I'll watch it. Now one of the OSTs (Kyuuketsui) is my ringtone.
Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai (We Still Don't Know The Name Of The Flower We Saw That Day) - Final Episode
I can't stop crying after seeing this. I usually don't cry often when I watch anime, but the ending to this one made me bawl my eyes out. It was happy, but at the same time it was sad.
I think I need to watch something happier after watching this.
Lately I have been watching Pokemon: Best Wishes sometimes. I will watch it every now and then but it really only happens if I am bored to the point I want to watch something. This season with the 5th gen Pokemon is a bit different. It kind of changed Team Rocket quite a bit. I am not one for the 5th gen really... but it is interesting at times. Mostly Ill watch episodes with Pokemon that are worth seeing. I watch it in order.. but it gets boring sometimes. D=
My favorite tv show/movie as a kid, and I'm rediscovering my love for it now. Fightin evil by moonlight, winnin love by daylight. Never runnin from a real fight, she is the one called SAILOR MOON
Well, what can I say, other than...wow. This is perhaps one of the most misleading and thoroughly shocking anime I've ever seen, especially since its a Magical Girl anime, which NEVER deviate from the standard plotline. This started off normally enough, but then it all spiralled out of control in the third episode, where
Tomoe Mami got her head bitten off by a witch
...I haven't been that upset since
Kamina died
in Gurren Lagann.
I spotted a lot of the plot twists - unfortunately, they weren't quite imaginative enough to come up with something truly unpredictable in the grand scheme of things - but this is just so radically different from any other Magical Girl anime that I can't help but love it, and its taken a very high place in my top ten already. The soundtrack was fantastic as well.
I urge anyone with some spare time to watch this - its only 12 episodes, after all. Even if you don't like the genre. It will shock and amaze you
The last anime I watched was Eden of the East. the show isn't half bad. it starts out with this girl throwing coins over the white house gates. she gets busted and this dude with no clothes on, a gun, a phone charged with 8.2 million yen on it, and amnesia busts her out. I leave the rest to you to watch.
MM!
Basically, it's this boy who's an extreme masochist, he goes to a club in his highschool, that says that they can help people in whatever they have. So, the club president "Mio" thinks she's a god and she can help anyone, including the protagonist, and she starts attempting to cure his masochism.
It's a very nice anime, I enjoyed watching it, it has a little bit development, and I could say I was disappointed that they never cured any of the people's complexes.
Otome Youkai Zakuro
The story revolves around Spirit Affairs Ministry, a ministry created to help in problems related to spirits, so 3 people from the military have spirits as partners, and the story evolves from there. Honestly, it had pretty much a nice development throughout it.
It's one of the few anime that actually have a nice romance, basically I like tsundere type of girls, and this anime provided it wonderfully for me.
...wow. Just...wow. I absolutely love this anime. The art style is fantastic, and it's just getting to the good point of the manga: when everything goes to hell.
The Major conducting the battle, Alucard swarming London with his army, Anderson stabbing himself with the nail and turning into some mutant plant thing
...this was definetely one of the best episodes yet. It was in Japanese with no subtitles, but I understood more than I'd care to admit. xD
Too bad I'll have to wait about a year and a half for the next episode. I imagine it'll be a 12 or 13 episode OVA (at least, at the rate they're progressing) so...that is a long time to wait for it to be finished. As if it hasn't been long enough already
So long as they release the OST they used in this episode before then, I'll be content.
In the meantime...back to Star Driver, which is like a gay version of Gurren Lagann...making it awesome.
^ Durarara was one of the worst anime I've ever watched, it was just plain boring...
Anyway,...
Hunter x Hunter
I re-watched this MARVELOUS anime last week, it's really one of the best. Storyline, character development and the action isn't half-assed either, truly a must watch. I was really thrilled when I heard the news of the new TV series coming this fall.
Akira
So I watched this old movie since I had it lying there waiting to be watched, and so I gave it a shot. I would say it didn't give me the impact I hoped for, I would rate it 7-8 out of 10. The story developed quite weird based on something they didn't specify except in the last few minutes of the movie. Well, it was nice watching it and all but I hoped it would be better than this.
Senjou no Valkyria: Gallian Chronicles
You probably came across this, if you bought the PS3 game, this is exactly the same but an anime version, I must say. It had a slow start, but I loved the show. Also, expect something shocking to happen as you advance in the story. Must watch for me.
Black Blood Brothers
Another Vampire anime, but I preferred this one over the others just because. Although, it's a 12 episodes show, and I thought it need more storyline in there but it was good overall.
Well, this is my anime list http://myanimelist.net/animelist/RingoPie , maybe if you have the same taste as I do, I could probably give you a couple of recommendations on what to watch, although my list isn't complete yet.
I'm still dumbfounded, three days after watching it full.
Just What The Hell Have I Just Watched ?
The heroines can transform their frigging underwear unto weapons to kill shit vomit (literal) monsters.
I think this is going straight to my list of Favorite Animes ever watched.
Nekogami Yaoyorozu - I suppose it's ok but no anime has made me laugh more then Lucky Star for me it will be the best anime ever and i think they should bring it back.....
I've been watching Star Driver: Takuto of the Radiance, and I absolutely love it. It's very amusing, and it has everything one could ask for: a nice art style, fighting robots, reasonable character depth, and more nudity than I can keep track of. These characters just can't keep their bloody clothes on
Although the story is getting a little bit stale - a lot like Sailor Moon, in fact - and...ehhhh, how can people be so STUPID!? It is painfull obvious who is a member of the Glittering Crux Brigade, the masks don't hide their appearance that much! They can recognise each other out of uniform, so why can't Takuto and everyone else?!
Currently watching Fruits Basket and everytime I watch this show, I just wanna choke the mess out of Kagura. She's so annoying! I hate the annoying girls who day dream over guys who want NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM. Or they don't GET THE PICTURE that the guy doesn't want them. Kinda felt the same way with Misa. Now, I've realized why I don't watch the anime anymore, Furuuba is too depressing and the manga isn't any better. It's got a really good plot and in the end of the manga, turns out to be good but---eh, I had to force myself to finish the manga.
Watched Vampire Knight after FB and can see why I stoped watching that one too...it's even MORE depressing. Beautiful characters(Literally), breathe taking OSTs, wonderful story but just too much.
Think I need to start thinking about watching other anime's that aren't so depressing. Oooh, if SE had a KH anime, I'd be so happy!X3
I've been hearing mixed thoughts about this. A friend of mine who is usually very accurate when it comes to recommending anime I like (I say "usually" because she recommended I watch Code Geass, which I hated with a passion) has told me constantly to stay away from it, but otherwise people have been fairly positive about it. I haven't read the manga, and I loved the original dub cast, which they kept, and so far...I'm enjoying it quite a bit. I'm a bit disappointed that Scar doesn't make people's heads violently explode in a bloody shower anymore (Grand's scene was so disappointing...) and I prefer the original's handling of some characters so far, but otherwise...eh, it's pretty good. Alex Louis Armstrong is still FABULOUS, Maes Hughes' death is still the most upsetting death in anime outside of Kamina and Tomoe Mami, and Roy Mustang is still epic...and I still hate Winry. Looking forward to seeing how it'll all turn out this time
