I'm watching Sengoku Basara Two at the moment. I love how ridiculously flamboyant this anime is; everything is monumentally over the top. Hideyoshi must be at least ten feet tall and twice the size of a normal man; Masamune looks tiny next to him. Watching this makes me want to pick up Samurai Heroes again. xD

I've kinda given up on Dragonball...with two episodes to go. I'll get around to them eventually. I might give Soul Eater a try next, unless I can find some Ao No Exorcist episodes I can download or watch...

Eww... Ao no Exorcist! That anime is so shitty after episode 16 since they track off the manga... -__-

Anyway,

Great Teacher Onizuka - One of the best EVER MADE! I was laughing through out the episodes, I couldn't stop watching after 1 or 2 I just kept going and finished the whole 43 episodes in 2 days. n_n The bad thing is I still want more of this. :(

Nurarihyon no Mago Sennen Makyou
- This is the second season, you know when you watch the first season and you want more? Well, this is not the case here, because if you watch the first one you won't think about watching the second one but let me correct you, the second season by far surpasses the first one by 100x times IN EVERYTHING, it's that much better, it has a plot from the beginning, the main character is developing, the same goes for his companions, it's truly a great anime unlike the first season.

I don't read manga, it bores me, so that wouldn't matter to me :lew:

But I am currently watching...Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch. I like it, it's mildly amusing, and I feel the need for a magical girl anime at the moment...I've just finished watching Dragonball and both seasons of Sengoku Basara, I've had my fill of watching men beat shit out of one another. xD

I was watching last the first episode of Fruit's Basket. My friend referred me to it, and it's actually not so bad. Definitely weird, but not too awful. I don't know if I'll buy the next episode, though. It was interesting despite that, though. They've got a nice plot twist going.

Last anime I watched was a movie entitled The Sky Crawlers.

It was typically asian in terms of the general approach being to tell a provocative story which parallels current era lyfe with a poignant and meaningful hook to it which would cause people to re-evaluate things from a different perspective.

The themes and symbolism were interesting, I thought. Others might say it was boring, I can definitely see a case for it being cliche and beating a dead horse in terms of it attempting to address consumerism, cloning, genetics, nihilism vs existentialism, class warfare, dystopian futures and similar issues I can't identify or think of a name for right now.

I can't really say if it was a good movie or not. It was predictable and cliche in a lot of ways. But, it might definitely give you some things to think about if you can see parallels to everyday lyfe, I s'pose.

It's not a case of you read manga or not, the script is just so fking awful.

Kara no Kyoukai 1 - 3
So, I started watching the Kara no Kyoukai movies last week, so far I've enjoyed each one of them, I look forward to watch the remaining 4 movies, since I heard the 5th one was the best.

Mirai Shounen Conan

I'm re-watching this old classic anime, I've watched since I was a kid, so I don't remember the story well, so I'm watching it again, it's so nostalgic, I'm really enjoying it. :>

Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon

This anime STILL doesn't make any sense, I don't get a single thing, the story is just too confusing, it's just a clump of characters thrown in there. Oddly enough, I'm enjoying it even though I don't understand it. -__-

Can't be any worse than the likes of Code Geass, so I might take my chances with it...somewhen in the distant future :wacky:

Anyways, I just finished watching Tiger and Bunny; took a break in Mermaid Melody to give this some attention. If not for Madoka Magica and Star Driver, this would be anime of 2011. It's fucking FANTASTIC. An excellent concept, the right amount of humour dashed amongst what could be considered a fairly dark story, and brilliant character designs. It would have been nice if some of them got a bit more development, but for a 25 episode series it was wonderful.

Oh, plus Lunatic makes for an awesome villain, in every sense. He just needed to appear a bit more :hmph:

Queen's Blade

I've been watching this on Netflix. Interesting show, but the characters need more clothes.

School Rumble

It's a pretty cute anime, and have been watching it (as well as NANA, though I've read pretty much all of that manga, as well as the movie, so I didn't really finish it yet) on Netflix. I recommend it if you have Netflix and you're into a super cute, Shoujo anime.

High School Of The Dead.

Need I say more?
My two loves together in one, Zombies and Anime. When I first heard about this anime I was a bit skeptical about it and wasn't sure that I was going to like it. I watched it in Japanese first (With subtitles of course) and fell in love with it within the first 10 seconds. Someone then told me I should watch the Dub version but I've only seen the first episode and part of the second in English. I think I prefer the Japanese version more.

Last anime I watched was Code Geass. I love how the main character is kind of an anti-hero and the way, and the ending, in my opinion , is pretty bad ass.

I'm currently watching RomeoxJuliet. I've been curious about it for quite some time now but, due to going through a phase in which I wasn't too interested in anime, never bought it. However, it was in HMV the other day when Chris and I went to London and I am now back in an anime phase. :)

I also watched the first episode of Fushigi Yugi last night... It 'aint as good as the manga!

The last Anime I watched was Soul Eater, I didn't really like it that much, it was too slow. I watched it in English and I think I ruined it for myself, I absolutely hated black star's Voice and his personality!! The only thing I really liked about it was the background artwork, the quirky sun and moon and Death the Kid.
I'm watching this right now and I kinda agree. The story is... taking its time... three episodes to introduce the main characters, one by one, was probably too much. I'm still not entirely sure what the primary point of the show is, and I'm probably close to episode 20. (Though I think Excalibur is hilarious.)

Before that, I watched the older version of Fullmetal Alchemist. Good show, even if the second half of it didn't flow alongside the manga. (Cartoon studios are so impatient.)

Since the internet has gone to hell for anime downloads, I am watching Revolutionary Girl Utena. Incest, paedophilia and yuri. This anime has EVERYTHING. Except for a compelling plot; I'm only watching it because I'm bored, and because it gets away with so much you'd never see in a modern day dub. Plus Nanami has a dub voice that grates on my ears, but she's hilariously cute in a "blasting off again" kind of way. xD
