Last game you finished?

Tonight me and my Best Bud finished playing dead island. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it so much!! I think it was the company just as much as the game itself.

I finished Dead Island today as well. :britt: First it was Lew, Al, Dames and I...then Lew headed off and it was Al, Dames and I who ended up finishing the game together...after I blew them up with a grenade :wacky:

It was a really fun game, but it wouldn't have been half as fun if I'd have had to play without friends. The last part of the game was ridiculously hard omg :damon:

Still...I'm a bit sad its over with now. There's still side quests and weapon mods that I still want though so I'll still be playing it. ...and I agree with the 8/10 rating. I think it was a really fun game :ryan:

I finished Final Fantasy X the other day. Absolutely incredible. It's been a long journey for me - 5 to 6 years - but it's been worth it. X was the game which drew me into the series and led me to the forums where I met so many people. It's the reason I discovered Photoshop and music videos, and the reason I learnt how to use Photoshop and Premiere.

As a game in and of itself, I've come to appreciate it more and more. At first, I couldn't get to grips with the battle system or the sphere grid and HATED the random battles. Now I love both and can easily say it's my favourite battle system of any RPG I've played.

In terms of story, characters and music...they all work together to make a game truly beautiful. :) I'm a little sad it's over, and I really do wish X-2 was half as good! (I started these two games on the same night) but one day I'll replay it - and I'll see how I fare with that complicated Sphere grid. ;)

I finished Dark Souls off earlier...it's been a fairly enjoyable game, although I'm going to penalise it in my eventual review for some truly damning flaws that really detracted from the experience. Like the fact that playing online with friends is next to impossible. There are also the freezing glitches that threatened to delete my save file periodically, the horrendous frame rate at Blighttown, and the fact that I killed the last boss in three hits with the Crystal Ring Shield.

Some definite lack of balance in this game...but overall, I really enjoyed it. Fantastic soundtrack, moderately challenging, took me about 50 hours to finish...trolling bosses with gestures was satisfying as well :ohoho:

I beat inFamous a second time for my Platinum Trophy :gasp: Beat it on hard this time, which wasn't as challenging as I thought it'd be. I probably died less on hard than normal, oddly enough. Oh well, time for another game :gasp:

I have finished F.E.A.R.3

I enjoyed it a lot except for the fact that it was too short, I was really starting to get into it and then BAM the game was over :sad3:

The end boss was a bit disappointing :( very easy though I let lew do most of the work hahaha so I guess the boss was easy for him as I did nothing.

The game did have a few scary moments that had me jumping but overall it was not that bad

Just passed Uncharted 3 on normal difficulty. That counts as defeated anyway, since there is no 100% ending or something. Spectacular game. I could have not expected anything better. I love this game so much and it is definitely my favourite in the series. Best written plot I have seen in awhile, and this game has so much suspense, it is exhilarating! Probably the best game I have played in awhile. It kept my interest all the way through. Defo going back to play campaign again, to get the remaining trophies. Multiplayer is still really fun. Level 40 in it. :ryan:

Technically it was mw3 but id rather talk about the game before that. Uncharted 3.

WOW

I cant believe i wasnt gunna buy this for a while. Without a doubt one of the best games ive played this year. Im really shit at reviews but damn i loved this game so much. Im trying to think of faults but im not finding any at all. They really went all out with the action scenes. The bit in the boat was amazing, it was just action after action. I loved how drakes movements would change slightly after big action scenes, as if he was tired out. The scene where your wondering the desert and hes going a bit mad from exhaustian was brilliantly done.
Wasnt an easy game to beat either and i played on normal. There were bits that had me pulling my hair out for quite a while but i needed to know what happened next so putting the controller down wasnt an option.
The multiplayer on uncharted 2 never reaaaly appealed to me. I didnt hate it, but didnt love it either. I liked uc3 that much though i really wanna try it out.
Hats off to naughty dog they did an amazing job with this game. Its my favourite out the whole series and like i said earlier one of the best story games ive ever played. 10/10

Just gunna throw it out there but it was awesome seeing sully back in his younger days. Hes a proper lad.

Few days ago I beat Heavy Rain and then Final Fantasy XIII.

Heavy Rain was pretty fun. I only had it for 2 days and the story was very enjoyable. There were a few things I wish I did my first time around, but oh well. My girlfriend forced me to give it back to her the next day so I didn't get anymore trophies in it than her.

Final Fantasy XIII. I actually enjoyed this more than I thought I would. It has its short comings, and it's an overall disappointment as a FF game, but at the same time, it has some of the things that make it an FF, and despite what anyone says, the story was pretty good to me. The characters need a bit of work, but they fit the game. I felt a bit satisfied after I beat it, and I've started to like the battle system enough that when I finally get bored of Skyrim, I'll probably go back to it and do some Cie'th stone missions or something.

An old childhood favorite: Monster Rancher for the Sony Playstation.

I've beaten it several times now though but it's always nice to see the ending, because going in I thought it didn't have an ending. But the game keeps going long after the credits roll. When I have a handful of extra time I'll probably go back to it and raise more monsters that I haven't gotten around to raising yet. I mostly just breed Dinos. They're cool.

Which is why it makes me sad they're replaced in the sequel

Uncharted 3 on Normal difficulty! The ending threw a few too many enemies at me :( but apart from that the game was incredible! :) I loved the story and the gameplay, the levels were all pretty dynamic and well designed.

I shall have to try out the multiplayer soon. :wacky: And then Uncharted 2, which Chris has given to me. :D

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.

I liked the game, but the camera was a bit floaty. The gunplay was the bad part about this game, imo. The rest of it, though, was enjoyable. The story was pretty good, and I'll probably go borrow UC2 from a friend and see if I like the gunplay better. It didn't help that I'm terrible with a controller when it comes to any sort of shooter game.

Uncharted 2

Ah it was so great, really exactly what you want from an action adventure game. One of the best games I have played in years. Disappointed in the ending, but apart from that it was quite brilliant

Dead Space 1

It reminded me a bit of Resident Evil 4's gameplay except with the ability to move while shooting/reloading/etc. The concept of shooting the limbs off enemies was pretty cool as well as it makes things a bit more different than the typical "shoot the enemies in the head". Sadly I must say it wasn't as scary as I was hoping it would be and while I did play it on normal, I thought the game was too easy at times. Overall though I'd give the game an 8/10

Resistance 3.

I loved this game a lot and had a lot of fun with it but the end... omg.. it was so anti climatic... it came and went and I was like "is that it???" I refused to believe that was the end of the game... but alas it was. The credits rolled and I felt like i had just been jipped.

I guess I will pretend that ending never happened and focus on all the good things about the game instead

Uncharted 3

I really enjoyed it. Some of the chase/escape/general action sequences were really epic and movie like in style. As to be expected the story was quite enjoyable too. I had a few issues with controlling Drake but I think that may have been due to my controller rather than the game.

One fault I found with the game was that I thought the ending was anti-climactic. The boss fight was pretty to look at but it kind of fell short in that it felt rushed and it wasn't particularly hard.

I've lent it to my friend so I'll have to wait until he finishes it before I explore the multiplayer a bit.

Batman Arkham City

Well, I just got this yesterday, and beat it about 30 minutes ago :wacky: I'd be disappointed with the length had I not been playing it since 11 this morning (finished it at 3:30 am) and 2 hours last night. So roughly 18 hours of gameplay. Plus I'm gonna keep playing and finish the 400 Riddler challenges and the 40 for Catwoman, and I have a few more side missions to finish up that I couldn't before I fought the final boss. Final boss was a bit underwhelming and extremely easy, but I can't complain. I was getting tired as it is, so an easy fight was what I needed. I shouldn't have played it as fast as I did, but I didn't find myself wanting to stop playing, so I lost track of time for...oh, 10 hours? :olivia: Got two more games coming in the mail this week and I'm not even close to being done with Skyrim, so the next few weeks or so will be cram packed full of games. Not to mention that come January or February, Tales of Graces F will be coming out :reptar: Now off to bed with me.

The last game that I finished was Dragon Age: Origins.
I think this was my fourth time finishing it so it wasn't very hard and I knew what to expect and I killed the bad guys. I also had to kill the boss bad guy. I killed him pretty good then the game was more or less over.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Completing the story counts as finished I guess. I enjoyed the main story quests, but knowing that there is so much left to do, just makes me want to keep playing. Elder Scrolls is not about the story, it is about having fun and exploring all around. This is exactly what I love about it. Skyrim is amazing. It was really difficult at times. I really got pissed at some parts towards the end. Most notably BlackReach.

Portal.

It was shorter than I expected, I finished it within a few hours today, but I still enjoyed it a lot. It feels a lot like Mirror's Edge did, graphics and gameplay wise. Looking forward to starting the second sometime soon.

...but the turrets make me so sad when say things after I disable them. "I don't hate you" :sad3: Poor things.
