Misfits - Christmas Special

I really, really enjoyed this. It wasn't very Christmasy or whatsoever, but it was still great. I leapt for joy when
Alisha could finally touch people without turning them on
and she could finally have a normal relationship with Simon. It was such a shock to see that
everyone else decided to sell their powers for money and Nikki died as a result, so they couldn't even save her!
Was really pleased with the ending. On the other hand, I wasn't convinced by Nathan's relationship with the expecting mother.

Dead like me

10/10

It's a different kind of show... with a twisted humor, and a new look on the after life. It's about a gang of grim reapers, trying to move on from their own deaths, while handling the death of others as well. And it's pretty awesome. If you're lookin' for something new and fun to watch, I recommend it. Unfortunately, there are only two seasons.

Jersey Shore

I hate to say it, but this show has become an addiction for me the last month or so I've been off. Yes, its absolute ridiculous nonsense...the girls are well...very promiscuous and the guys are all overly tanned, overly beefy, and have gelled hair that you could probably set a cinder block on and still not be able to flatten. But it is hilarious to watch. I've always loved drama in shows...and while this is cheap drama its still fun to watch. I think the new season with Deena starts tonight too :woo:

Modern Family

This show is over the top hilarious! I think it definitely gives a good idea of the modern family, with just a little bit of exaggeration of course. I would recommend this to anyone! I watched one episode and ending up watching 7 more after in one sitting. Amazing show.

Sons of Anarchy :D

Been rewatching the whole of the three series from the begginning. And its interesting to watch how all of the characters develop as the MC is faced with different challenges etc.
All in all this show is definently worth watching :D

Recently over the past few years I have began to enjoy a lot of TV shows to the point I'm barely bothering with music and games and with the launch of Sky Atlantic in the UK (for people not in the Uk, it's a channel that has a deal with HBO to have exlusive rights to all HBO shows as well as other popular dramas like Mad Men) I'm enjoying myself very much. :monster:

Entourage - Season 1
With Sky Atlantic showing several HBO's shows from episode 1, I was a bit disappointed that this show is starting from season 7. Probably due to the fact previous seasons have aired in the UK before this channel so I received the first season of Entourage for my birthday.

Th first season was pretty good. All the characters are great and it's a little look in to an up and coming actor in Hollywood. The only bad thing is the first season is only 8 episodes long. I finished it in 1 night and it left me craving for more. Definitely worth a watch. A comedy that doesn't spoon feed you with punchlines after punchlines that usually features a guest celebrity starring as themselves.

8/10

Archer

This show is on pretty late on FX. Its hilariousssssss. Its risque and raunchy, but funny I will admit. I don't watch it very often since I've been so busy lately, but if you are a late night person looking for something funny to watch on the networks, give Archer a try :britt:

The last show I saw was victorious.

It was about how Tori, beck, Andre and cat had to finish a school esay, but tori was on an air plane and so she does it on the plane.

Supernatural

Episode-Clap your hands if you believe.

I loved this because it was one of the Funnier Supernaturals and lets say Season 6 need's to have some comedy in it and lets face it Dean Fighting Fairies is funny as hell Omg its Tinkerbell... and she hit me....

Season 6 is turning out better now but I would like to know if Dean is going to make up with Lisa or just leave her behind..

I''ve been watching a show called No Ordinary Family, it's quite interesting, and the development of the story is pretty well drawn out. I love it, and the guy who plays Joshua/The Watcher, is suprisingly sexy!

I haven't watched a lot of TV lately. The last time I did (several days ago), my friend had made me watch an episode of this current season's Bad Girl's Club. It was dead on awful. Now, I know when I'm looking at a terrible reality show (psst, Jersey Shore), and when I was younger, I used to like the earlier seasons of BGC, because some of them weren't always about alcoholism, fighting, and sex. But these more recent seasons have been from what I've seen. I kind of wish my friend never showed me that episode on TV . :hmph:

I only usually watch TV for 20 min or so while I'm eating and then turn it off, but I ended up seeing most of an episode of "Ancient Aliens" on the History Channel the other day. And no offense to anyone who likes it, but....

:ffs: !

I'm not someone who completely denies the existence of aliens at all, but the premise of this show (on the HISTORY channel) is to examine ancient ruins, texts, and mythologies from various cultures and try to make claims that extraterrestrials were somehow involved, or even entirely responsible. But it's not even just them going "Oh, the aliens built the pyramids"--some of the lengths they go to are absolutely insane. Like in the one I watched the other day, they were trying to say that myths about Thor's Hammer, and Poseidon's Trident, popped up because the people who made them up saw aliens wielding some sort of laser gun or weapon that shot lightning or something. 8( You know, because actual lightning and hammers didn't exist back then :ffs: And then they showed a bunch of standing stones in Europe that were placed in rows, like this:

. . . . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . .
. . . . . . . . . .

and then drew triangles over it on the screen, and tried to say that there was some sort of crazy geometric code in there that aliens would have taught to the people :ffs: I'm like "Um...you could make squares, rectangles, and other shapes in there too " And the narrator even said, "Although most archaeologists believe these to be some sort of grave markers, Ancient Astronaut theorists believe that it's..." so and so code :ffs: Which made it sound even more completely out there.

Not to mention there's this one dude on there, Giorgio Tsoukalos, whose hair is one of the most terrifying things I've ever seen :sad2: Every time you see it, it changes (I've seen a few different clips of this show), and it looks like he had a fan blowing on his hair after he was caught in a rainstorm, it's as nonsensical as many of his claims are :mokken:

Anyway, 1/10 for this show, just because sometimes I do get a good laugh out of the things they come up with.

I watched the first four episodes of Hey Arnold on Netflix XD. I really miss that show. Though I think I prefer the later seasons to the earlier ones.

House.
I've been watching house during the day because uni hasn't really started yet. I've just started series 5, the last one I watched was the one after he made up with Wilson. That's good because that's what I enjoy most about the show, his relationship with Wilson. I can take or leave the mystery element of the show, it doesn't really bother me.

Last TV episode I watched was Days of Our Lives(judge, and you die :vikki:). Pretty good episode, but won't say much without spoiling it xD. All I'm going to say is that, it's one of my many guilty pleasures. xD

Teen Mom 2-

Okay, okay...I've been watching this. Its interesting...but its very sad...and it really tugs at your heartstrings. In my opinion some of these girls have adapted to motherhood fairly well...like Leah and Kailyn...but Chelsea is still so focused on Adam I don't think she is thinking about whats best for Aubree because she'd know that having a dad around who just fights with her constantly, cheats on her, insults her, and doesn't contribute at all to pay the bills in the house is not the best dad for her daughter to live with. Jenelle is...definitely not ready to be a mom to Jace. Every time I watch her fight with her mom and run off with her boyfriends..leaving her little son watching her leave in the glass front door of her mom's house breaks my heart. I don't doubt that she really cares for Jace...she's just not ready to be the full-time mom and provide everything for him that he needs. While she doesn't get along with her mom...I'm glad Jace has Barbara to responsibly take care of him.

Archer

Wow. This show's stupid. But it makes me giggle in a manner that can only be compared to that of a ferocious lion. Um...That's all I can say about it at the moment. It's...good. :hmmm:

ER.

Noooooooooooooooooo. :( Season 15. Last season! I'm so going to miss the show after this, though I do think that 15 seasons is a nice amount of air time. I'll probably just go back to some older seasons after this... xD I can't imagine not ever watching it again.

The episode I'm watching is the first of the season- Life After Death. When this show kills off a character, they really know how to do it well... almost all the deaths I've seen have been so unexpected and it hits you really hard. You get to know the characters and the ones that die are usually the most likable, likely why I'm always so shocked by it. D:

Season 14 ended really abruptly and seemed bland... even though it involved
an ambulance explosion
it wasn't too exciting and didn't make me want to start the next season right away like the older seasons did. Yet I'm definitely still glad I don't have to wait until the summer to watch the next season, of course.

I'll probably end up skipping out on sleeping tonight to watch more. :wacky:

Seinfeld.
To me, Seinfeld is the highpoint of American TV, and of comedy too, it's not my absolute favourite but it's definitely in the top 5. The last episode I watched was even better than most. George travels across America just to 'zing' some guy who said something about him in a meeting. When he gets there his joke doesn't work very well, so he tells the guy he slept with his wife. It doesn't sound very funny written down, but I was laughing like a little girl when I was watching.
