Got my Crisis Core too! Been wanting a Home Port of this ever since the original PSP release! Already played a Chapter of it last night and really into it! Plan to replay Original VII, Advetn Children Complete (Never seen the Complete Version still!) & Then Dirge of Cerberus... if I dare!

Legend of Final Fantasy X - I got very antsy about waiting for European stock to re-appear. I saw on the USA Amazon had stock for sale so I imported - Wasn't any additional postage so no real problem! Really enjoyed the version they did for VIII & currently playing X so I can see myself reading this soons.

FFVIIDoC OST - Saw this going for cheap on eBay & chanced it. I didn't included the cardboard outerbox, but I had no intention of buying the other content for that set so this 2-Disc set in the DVD case is fine with me - Mint too!

Do you recommend this series?
I have the FFIX one (although not had time to read it yet) but not the others yet. I've heard mostly good things, but some mixed things about the size of the content in the English printed editions. I think one review spooked me concerning the FFVII one where it said something along the lines of the printed version only containing part of the full book. But I cannot find that review again now, so maybe it was in error?
 
Am not sure if it counts but ive pre ordered the collectors editions for both ff16 and the 1-6 collection. Next years gunna be an expensive one for gaming lol

I've only read the 8th book so far but it was really enjoyable! A portion of the book does sumarise the main story but then later it does go on to explore the games themes - With VIII inparticular it discussed about time travel theory and how there are 3 templates for time travel stories & how VIII's story compares to the 3 templates. It also details on the release character sections, details on the staff and the state of the game at the time it released and impact it had. Flicking through the book I can see it details content from X-2 and theories of X-3 too. While not as indpeth as as the Ultimania Japanese guides I found the book to have enough insight to get me thinking about the games world and lore, so for me it's the closest set of books to that ideal.

I'll have to check out my VIIth book now you;ve mentioned that. the Xth book looks fine.

Good job on getting them pre-orders! I remember waking up on the morning of the Pixel Remaster announcement. I was very on the fence as I don't know if they're the best way to experience the games (Prefer the PSP/GBA Ports) but glad I decided on getting it as it sold out within a few hours!

I've pre-ordered the Steelbook Edition for XVI, it was overpriced for what it was worth but managed to get it for £75 at least - It is what I initiallly got my PS5 for so I guess I can't feel too bad splashing out on it a little. Even the Pixel Remaster set was grossly overpirced really, I just got the standard Edition for that.
 
Crisis Core for Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X. Loving the game so far.
 
Vivi-Gamer yeah, they were overpriced to be sure. I didn't even realise the pixel Remaster was available to pre order at all, i seemed to miss that entirely and only happened upon it by another friend posting about it on fb, i was really surpised at how fast it sold out too!! They just know idiots like me will pay the over inflated prices

Saw the big box PC version of Final Fantasy VIII on eBay for cheeps! i still would love to get the EU PS1 Special Edition but this still scratches the collectors itch!

May I also ask, what is that Final Fantasy VI item? I can't tell if it is in a game case, a DVD or if it is a book. If it is a version of the game, it is not one that I recognise (and it has extra text on it besides). I can't read the writing on it (besides the game title) but it intrigues me.

It looks like a lovely item, the cover design is fantastic, and its content sounds interesting. I would definitely buy it if only I could speak French. I wish I had kept up with French at school now!

I got the FF7 Remake Deluxe Edition Set - Seen a few cheaper on eBay recently & decided to bite! All in Great Condition & even had a few extra Pre-order patches thrown in!

I also found Final Fantasy IX in a charity store - It wasn't super cheap but all the discs are in Mint Condition so I couldn't pass it :P I also got another copy of FF15 as I wanted one with the King's Tale Print on the box (Yes, I'm that cool:sup:), Picked one up at Cex for next to nothing.

I haven't read it yet, obviously, but I've been looking forward to this for a while. I deliberately avoided reading the fan translations (partly because of shipping biases, but also sometimes names, etc, can be localised differently in official translations), so I wanted the official translation. So here we go.

I like that they edited the cover, as Liv pointed out in Discord, so that it no longer says Traces of Telephone Two Pasts. The way the cover previously appeared made it look like the telephone box had been elevated to a tertiary character in the book.

Looking forward to reading this soon. I know bits and bobs as I have peaked at what the fan translators had unearthed from the Japanese version, but now I can actually read it as a story.
