| Let There Be Rock | A Rock Music Club | V.2

I would probably start with either In keeping Secrets or Year of the Black Rainbow. They are my top albums.

Awesome; yeah I was thinking of getting YOTBR and have been thinking about it for quite a while. A few people I know have told me that's the best one.

I won't deny that Year of the Black Rainbow is good, but it's not the best Coheed album, not by a long shot. Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume Two: No World For Tomorrow is by far my favorite album from them with The Second Stage Turbine Blade as a very close second.

but really, all of their albums are great in their own way ^_^

I'm going to have to agree with Ken. YOTBR is good, but it is not the best. MY personal fav on the best is IKS, but that's just my opinion.

Fair enough. I'm still a bit of a noob when it comes to Coheed & Cambria; almost bought an album of theirs in HMV today before realising it wasn't one of the ones I've been recommended by numerous folks, plus I had to buy my sister's present at the same time and it would of made me low on cash... Soon I will get one though!

Chevelle - The Meddler

I haven't posted here in awhile, but man this song is awesome! Can't get enough of it, Chevelle's new album is just kick ass, I mean this has to be their BEST album and I have been a Chevelle fan for a LONG time xD

Also Glimpse of the Con, which is an amazingly stunning song, in my opinion this album SHOULD have been nominated for a damn Grammy just because this song, but what the hell ever; we have rappers there and Foo Fighters robbing all the awards.

I've added the new members to the front page!! Welcome guys. :joey:

Also, I saw a Zeppelin song published a while back and I must say wicked that they were mentioned. people usually forget about them. :inlove: Also coheed, I used to love them so much. :sad3:

And omg, CHEVELLE!! :gonk: :cali:

ALTERNATIVE WEDNESDAY!!
This is an amazing alt band that, to me, speaks volumes and just always moves me spiritually. I can't explain it, but this band really just speaks to me. Them, Chevelle, and Zeppelin are my top three bands of all time.

I just love them so much, and I pray that I'm able to see them at least once in my life.

That is one of my favorite MCR songs as well! :gonk: The beginning guitar rift is so freaking bassy and so sexy. I just love how classic it sounds. Gerard's vocals on that song are my absolute favorite on the album. I used to hate it but not anymore. :inlove:

Along with Summertime and Na Na Na, Save Yourself(I'll hold them Back) clicked with me right from the get go. I think it's just the fact that they went in a whole new direction with their latest record that made me love it anymore.

I think it's safe to say that MCR has evolved out of their Emo-goth style, but still preserve some elements while still polishing their sound. <3

the main reason i chose "Save Yourself, I'll Hold them Back" is because the lyrical style is so fucking awesome. One of their better songs imo. :ohoho:

Eh, I don't know, Joey. I've grown out of metal bands. The only metal band I can really listen to anymore is Avenged Sevenfold. I still love Coheed but I've grown distant from them. :lew: I blame CheVelle for soaking up all my attention. :wacky:

Oh my glob.... if you don't like CheVelle I think I'll cray T^T Their newest album is so intense and so epic. :inlove: It's tearing up the charts too, which is awesome.

Anyway, I'm gonna post a Switchfoot song that always brings tears to my eyes.

This song is something that always gives me strength to try again, even if what I'm dealing with his weighing me down. It gives me a sense of hope, ye know? And I don't even care how girly it sounds, I love how this song is the only song on Earth that can bring a tear to my eye. :gonk:

This song and Panic Prone by CheVelle are my two favorite songs of all time. :ryan:

I don't know what day it is (for the rock day of the week thing), but news as of late suggest that My Chemical Romance is possible going to have a new album this summer, Ray Toro said its VERY likely that new music or a new album will be finshed/they are working on it now :cali:

So now its MCR day for me!

I really love this song, I love the lyrics and the way Gerard is singing it, they really went outside their box here, and I have to say I loved it; its MCR with a new flare, plus Toro's guitar is just boss :gasp:

I've totally been on an Eyeshine-obsession craze, and out of all of their songs, this one is my favorite. The instrumental in the beginning really sets the tone for the entire song, and the overall themes of the song. Maruice's drumming really knocks me out of the park.

Such an oddly cheerful song despite it's very grim, and dark lyrical content. It really is one of Hollywood Undead's best songs. I also think that Danny Murillo really gives the band a new flare.

This is another song where Danny's vocals really add a dynamic flare to it. Just love the fuck out of his voice <3

sixx am! love these guys
this is my favorite song from their second album this is gonna hurt, if you like the album, you should def. scope out nikki's books. very informative and will keep your attention
