Welcome to a damn long episode of Higurashi lmao! This chapter part was a long one, but at the same time it has a tonne going on. Rena's home visit is the main thing, where Keiichi is home alone and she...doesn't seem to have her friendly head on today!

We also check out the new TIPS, which gives us some insight into how Keiichi is thinking, even at the supermarket when there are so many people around. It shows how the curse/paranoia is panning out and how it works etc; the supermarket part wasn't in the anime/manga, so it's really fun to see that. Also, we find out a bit about split personalities. This puts a great spin on Rena's actions.

Welcome back to Higurashi! It's been a good few months since we finished the first arc but now we can carry on since the 2nd arc has been released on Steam! :yay:

Watanagashi (or the cotton drifting arc), is a huge change from the first. For a start, our Keiichi isn't the main victim of the curse this time, but someone else in our club is! I'll leave who it is as a surprise ;). I will say that the story is completely different during every arc and zip my mouth shut :s.

As for this episode, it's all about a nice club activity in town. Nothing horror, nothing vicious, nothing harmful. That's for later...;).

By the way, I swear I've heard that name in other anime or something...

Guess who works there though! It's Mion! Or is it someone else...Keiichi seems to think it really is Mion hiding her embarrassment by creating another persona. What do you guys think?

Ha hey peoples. This time around we see the start of chapter 3, which is a new type of club activity! Our group needs to enter a curry cooking competition (due to the teacher's nutty love for it) and they decide that there must be a club activity hidden within! Can Keiichi win or will Satoko, the Queen of traps, stand in his way? Maybe Rikka will charm her way to winning? Or maybe someone else will win entirely...

Hey there folks! There's no club activity at the start of chapter 4! What the hell???

This episode shows off just how protective the Hinamizawa citizens can be; probably a sign of how they came together to protect their village back in the dam wars of arc 1? You see, Keiichi has a run in with a biker gang outside of the village and Shion and a few Hinamizawans are around to see what's on...

Would you say what happens is pretty creepy (in a collective cult kind of way) or would you say it's great that they all come together to protect one another? :D

Hey peoples, here's the rest of chapter 4! Shion and Keiichi have a quick chat in Angel Mort (while she should be working!!!). One topic that rears its ugly head is the dam war, but it seems that it has quite a positive light to it this time around.

My favourite thing about this part though is that Shion/Mion's nan is mentioned! She's an amazing character and I hope so bad that the game shows her like she was in the anime and manga! Something to look forward to, that's for dam sure!

...Keiichi you derp lmao. Welcome to a grande revelation! A revelation that no one could possibly see coming! After some pleasant time with Shion, we head on over to the toy store to buy a doll for a her...only for things to get a little bit weird lmao.

Rena also goes through why Mion is a bit upset with us, even if Mion hasn't told us so :/. This it where things get a little bit messy within our club.

Hey there folks, sorry for the delay! I had my steam account a wee bit stolen and it all went a bit to pot :/. It's still not completely sorted now, but I at least have access to my games again :).

Anyways, this time around we find out that the mayor has gone missing! Why would the curse have picked him instead of Shion or Keiichi who trespassed in the shrine? :eek:. I mean, we found out he was missing in the TIPS last time but now it's all out and the school is all miserable and stuff because of it :(.

We also find out that Rika knows a lot about Mion's recent behaviour :s. While Mion isn't showing any sort of misery or cunning in the forefront, there's something definitely going on! Does she have something to do with the mayor's disappearance? How does Rika know about all this anyway? I know she's one of the leading families of Hinamizawa but blimey...there's something going on there too, I tells ya! ;)
