Hey there folks, it looks like Keiichi is serious about this murder stuff huh? Ok, so he's gonna kick things off by figuring out what weapon to use to kill off our favourite uncle. I'm willing to bet it'll be a golf club!

Other than that, there's a nice conversation between Keiichi and his mother (something you don't seem to see too often...I wish she was a more important character really). They have a lovely chinwag about her favourite crime novels, since she's a huge fan of them; we find out that the best novels have a way for the killer to be figured out so maybe Keiichi is barking up the wrong tree? :s

There's also the matter of getting Satoko out of the way for the plan to work, so there's a lovely phonecall between Keiichi and Mion. It actually reveals something very unexpected...surely this won't affect anything?

Why, hello again! So, it's the day of the Watanagashi festival! Keiichi has one thing left to do before the evening arrives and that is to dig the hole for the body ahead of time. With shovel in hand, let's see how he does! :)

There's a little bit I quite like that expands on our Keiichi's character, which is the part where he is thinking about his past while digging. Cram school is something that would turn anyone into a complete psycho...right? :eek:

Hey there folks, we've made it to the murder of Satoko's uncle! I love how this part plays out, showing how weak the big villain is after all! The thing is, while Keiichi makes it home, there seem to be a few issues...

I wonder if Keiichi will be able to sort everything out without being caught? Will he be "demoned away" like Satoshi? Will he be able to return to a sane form of himself? Heck, will he be able to go back to the fun days with his mates like he desperately longs for?

Hey there folks, we've reached this arc's hugely long episode! Grab the popcorn! Grab the vodka! Here we goooooo!

There's something strange going down in Hinamizawa and it ain't the murder :gasp:. Apparently, Keiichi was at the festival last night but how could he have been? How could the uncle still be alive? Something just ain't right!

Keiichi ain't having none of that and is going a bit loopy trying to figure it out so he needs to tell someone he respects and relies upon so much! I get the distinct impression that was a bad idea lmao.

Everything is just going ever so wrong so our little Maebara must go back to the scene of the crime and make sure the uncle was actually killed! Only problem is...not only has he confessed to someone but Ooishi is on the prowl :dead:.

Keiichi doesn't seem quite like the murder expert he was making out to be :/. I wonder if he'll make it out of all this without being arrested or even (typical Higurashi style) dead???

Hey there folks, Satoko is feeling a little better, physically! Yay! Doesn't seem like she's too great mentally though. There's some pretty big stuff going on that push her in that general direction this time around though so who can blame her? While we've seen more about Keiichi's reaction to all this, this time we're finally seeing what Satoko has been hiding all along!

For those in the know, this episode has the bridge scene, the body in a bag (intestines!) and a suicide 0_0. It's a good one! ;)

I really love these parts. They really can clarify a bit and give you some ideas to think on. They aren't too serious and let you have some fun too ha.

I think things start to become a bit more coherent from here on out (maybe there's like a mini arc before that), so it's gonna get good!

This arc is very different from the previous 3 arcs, in that we're not Keiichi! We're a new guy called Akasaka and he's gone into the past to investigate some odd goings on with the dam war all those years ago; yep, we're going back in time this around :D.

Hey folks, I was going for a game reference with the title but then noticed it wasn't that obvious lmao. Well...there ya go! :)

Anyways, this episode has the rest of chapter 1, with the help of Ooishi we travel on over to Hinamizawa and see that we aren't going to have the warmest of welcomes from the village :s. They really don't want to lose their homes so it's completely justified imo. Even the kidnapping isn't an awful thing when we know they won't harm him. They just want their hooooomes :'(.

I always found that she was put too much in the background in the first 3 arcs, but now possibly my favourite character in the gang is in the forefront :lew:.

Our little meeper is gonna be joining us for our sightseeing tour of the village, ready to keep us such good company ;).
