Lulu's overdrive

Wow, my best was 14. I thought it was pretty easy. I didn't use any spell like, Slow, Slowga, or any other speed enhancing spell. I averaged around 9-11 every time I did it, and I was using one of the Thunder Spells.
 
From what I can tell Lulus overdrive difficulty depends on two things, how much of the sphere grid shes filled up and the spell your using.

Anyway, my best is a whopping 15, 16 is the max as far as I can tell and I was using a turbo stick and my palm XD.
 
I know that the ability to obtain higher numbers of chains is to increase her magic stat - the higher the stat, the more easily you can spin the trigger. That said, I never bothered doing so and only ever managed to achieve an average total of 5-8, occasionally slipping up to 9 or 10.
 
Well i know depending on what magic u used the easier it would be to get higher like if u used fire u should get it up to a decent amount cuz it builds up faster since its a weaker magic. Then u go to the big magics like Flare of what not those would be hard to do cuz it will be harder to build up when using her overdrive. With the small magics and big magics i got 12+ it was not to hard since i am just a game freak :P.

For the ppl that uses there thumbs when doing this...dont do it that way. Try placing ur palm on the analog stick then rotating it that way it will cause less pain and work really well. At least for me it did.
 
In my more recent games i have been using unainstead of Lulu as my main spelkl caster so i ave become overly rusty with Lu's overdrives so nowadays im only scoring 3 or 4's when i do her overdrive T_T
 
Lulus overdrive is actually annoying as you have to spin that thing really fast but my highest was 10 and I never ever got higher than that. Even though her overdrive is only good with strong spells.
 
Something like 6-8. :gasp:

I never really used her Overdrive only if the boss I was fighting was weak to a certain element. I never used my thumb to spin the anolog thing around, I just used my whole palm to do it. -__-

I think my highest was 15 with Fire XD

but Firaga i got like... 6 >_>

I haven't played the game fer fooking ages. I'm gunna have to go back to it at some point and record my highest combos fer each spell >_> XDD
 
If i can recall my best was 6. I can never get button mashing fast enough. It starts to hurt my thumbs to much and before its over i give up. I never used Lulu much and never bothered with her celestial weapon so it wasn't much of a worry.
 
i only used her overdrive when i was desperate i9 personally did not like her overdrive but i got like everyone else an 8

I didn't like it much, it reminded me of irvines (the shooter) from Final Fantasy VIII. Any button pressing Limit break is crazy. If you don't expect it you could easily make the limit break a complete failure. I'm trying to say you could not know to press buttons and in the end you just mess up something that took you a while to get (limit break that is). So they should just keep that out in the future. Thats my opinion.
 
I don't like her overdrive, I only got 7 max it was really annoying and the damage was like half the damage that I deal with casting magic normally, I totally hated her overdrive. :gasp:
 
I got 14-15 if I used something crappy like "Fire" or "Demi", then with Ultima I got 9. :( Boo. I think it probably has something to do with how high Lulu's magic stat is - I got higher numbers as I went through the game.
 
At first i was just pressing buttons because i did not know how to do it but when my friend said u have to spin the analog sticks around.
The most i have ever gotten is like 8 =/ i don't know if it is even possible to get perfect.

Last week when I was still playing FFx I got 13 with Lulu's overdrive. I did the spell firaga and since my lulus magic is high it did like 4000 damage each time. Although I finished X it was great that I got 13 at the end.

Oh Cosmos same here most of the times during Boss battles i just ignored her overdrive
it was such a pain in the but i really tried to roll the controllers but nothing >_>
