Lulu's overdrive

7 is my personal record... by turning both sticks until they broke lol. I dont think its possible to get a great on it just cause its impossible to get higher than 10 at most hehe xxx
 
Hm...I must have gotten only 6,I really don't remember since it's been over a year since I played FFX and usually Lulu isn't on my main party.
 
I've only ever gotten 8. It drives me nuts. I've never heard of anyone getting any higher. It's kind of annoying that way. No way to practice, or anything...
 
I get 9 every time, but i haven't really put much effort into it to try for more.
 
The highest I've ever gotten is 9, but that's because I don't use Lulu much, In my most recent file, I was already on the airship and I realized that Lulu had 580 HP, because I mostly used her only when it was required. However, if someone can consistently get 8s or 9s on her overdrive, I can see why she'd be a great character to use.
 
It depends on what spell you are doing, I always found the best payoff was Flare (good damage and can get more off than ultima).
 
Highest ive ever gotten is 8 and my average is 7-8, how do they expect us to get all the way to the end of the overdrive bar that pops up when u start spinning? its just not possible! plus it feels like i might break the analog stick off if i spin much faster.:wtf:
 
I think I got eight once, generally I got around seven or six. I found spinning it with my palm was the most effective rotation method, I did not use Lulu much though so I didn't practice her overdrive often
 
Lulu's Overdrive is Fury that allows Lulu to cast multiple versions of the same spell, but without sticking to the "rules" of normal spell casting: Each single attack is weaker than a normal spell, it can be used even when silenced; the spells bypass Reflect and Shell and they don't consume MP. Players must rotate the right analog stick after choosing the spell and for each successful rotation the counter goes up by one, indicating how many times the spell will be cast. How big a rotation is, is based on Lulu's magic stat and how many successful rotations the player has already made, meaning that a successful rotation might be 720 degrees on the analog stick. Lulu's Overdrive is limited to the spells she has currently learned and is limited to Black Magic spells only.

that said i got 12 with fira once damn my hand still hurts

My highest If I remember right would be an 11 for the most part of the beginning of the game I got mostly a 4 -7 half of the time till I got the hang of it.
