O.O You even do comic strips? Wow. I'm assuming you'll pursue this talent of yours? ;) Really, people will enjoy reading them (I mean c'mon, they're FFVII!) if you publish some of your work.

People keeps telling me that I should do comic strips too, and I'm flattered...lol, but the problem is, I have a hard time drawing things that comes from my imagination. I have to look at something. I've never actually tried practicing how to draw things that comes from the imagination. Seeing your drawings are inspiring and I'm sure it makes other artists out there who has a different style want to learn something new.

So wow, compliments galore for you. ^_^ Keep it up!
 
Wow Mitsuki! That made me smile soooooo much!!! I just saw this! I have been ill and this just cheered me up so much. Thank you! :hug: I got a Graphics Tablet from my hubby and so I've been playing with that a lot! I'll have some new sketches to share very soon! :D

Well I finally took it upon myself to make some sketches with my new tablet! I know they aren't the greatest because I'm still trying to get the feel for it, but I don't think they're too bad at all :D I've done 4 of them now. Here's my first sketches done on my tablet! :D

You don't need me to tell you how excellent those pictures are :) but may i ask you a question? What do you find most difficult to draw when you are drawing characters?

I'm not an artist and i hardly draw, but when i have to draw or a i really feel like it, i always have trouble with drawing hands. And if it's an actual portrait of someone, the nose also troubles me.
 
Hmmm I don't know if I quite understand what you mean by different, Staines. I just sort of draw what I feel like drawing the most and have just sort of adapted my own style when I do draw. Try practicing with different types of nose shapes and find what you are most comfortable with when sketching. Also you can look up some awesome tutorials on how to draw hands and I have some I can share with you as well if you wish :)

That, my dear, is a graphics tablet. If you have a digital program such as Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Corel Painter, etc... you use this nifty little contraption. The thing is is that it's a lot different to draw on. It comes with a little pen that you draw on the actual tablet with, but while drawing you look at the screen to see what you're drawing. It's really complicating at first, but after using it a few times you get the hang of it pretty easily. My husband got this for me with part of our tax return and I couldn't be happier with it :D I'm having a blast drawing with this! :D

Yep you sure do! I'm attempting my first colored drawing on it today in Photoshop :D :3
 
Graphics Tablet! No wonder it sounded familiar...my brother-in-law bought this too not that long ago. He just got his degree for graphics art design and decided to buy the same exact thing you have: Wacom.

And dang, 130 bucks... =/

And it is done! YAY!! This is my very first drawing done with my tablet and I'm really pleased with the way it's turned out :D Anyway this is Cloud's embarassed way of saying Happy Valentine's Day to his beautiful Cetra :D

Aww!!! How cute! =O Lol it looks like Cloud's squeezing the moogle or something. I love the colors here, it's so smooth! Great job! =)
